eSport Heads Up League

Hot on the heels of the eSport team leagues, eSport are now launching the individual Heads Up league.

It is a generally similar format to the team play leagues, with a UK "Closed" League for the top 20 players and "Open" qualification leagues for everyone else.

There is relegation from the Closed league for the bottom few players, and promotion from the open leagues for the top players.

There will be a freeroll on 11th March where the first 20 representatives of the UK "Closed" league will be decided.

A brief summary of the structure:

The top division is the "European Level Heads Up Play Offs". The top 8 players from the "UK eSport Poker Heads Up League" qualify for participation in this. In total there are 32 entrants, with everyone guaranteed a minimum of $600 prize money. The winner gets $5,000. This league is "closed" and you may only enter through direct qualification.

The national league is the "UK eSport Poker Heads Up League". Entry is freeroll based and all players are guaranteed $50 in prize money. The top 8 qualify for the "European Level Heads Up Play Offs". This league is "Closed" and you may only enter through direct qualification.

The "UK eSport Heads Up Qualification League" is "Open" and anyone may enter. There is an entry fee of $10, which will pay for your entry into all 7 of the qualification seasons. The top players are able to win entry to the "UK eSport Poker Heads Up League (Closed)".

Each Matchday you play a Heads Up game against an opponent. In addition you may directly challenge other opponents in Sit and Go Heads Up Games to score extra bonus points.


How to register for Tuesdays Freeroll?
1) If you already have an eSport account from the TeamPlay, then go to their site and log in - http://uk.esport-poker.com/Users/login . If you dont already have an account, then go straight to step 2.
2) Follow the link to sign up
3) Click "Sign Up Now" button
4) Click "Free Sign Up" button
5) If you already have an account, then you will now see the password on screen (and also receive it by email). If you dont have an account, you will now have a 6 step process to sign up (and after step 6, you will receive the password)

Just in case people cannot find it in the Pokerroom lobby - it's under Tournaments/Scheduled/Specials - time is listed as 15:00 EST (Which is 20:00 GMT)

If you need and persuading - get into the Closed UK League and this is ultimately what you could win - all from freerolls!! Dont get relegated and you can win it every season!!!

So everyone in the league is guaranteed $50. Finish in the top 8 and you're guaranteed $600!!!!

To be honest mate it took me about 20 minutes to register In the end I made sure I was logged in and then clicked on GaF's link to register and hey presto

Cracking tournys but the site is a real pain in the ar$e

PS, I think you have to be logged into PokerRoom at the time Al

I am having the same problem. Logged into esport and pokerroom. Just keep going around in circles - log in page - you are already logged in..... Have emailed support for assistance re-password, but no reply yet.

Do you leave the eSport page open after you have logged in? Then open the link in another tab? (Maybe it's a Firefox problem? What browser do you use? It worked for me in Microsoft IE)
