Well i couldn't get on to register nevermind play.

Well I was on but with no opponent.
However this set of games has to be cancelled as 7 games did not get going, compared with the usual 2.
Would be grossly unfair for any results to stand from tonight.

Surely it would be shocking if they cancelled games now? Some people managed to play and won/lost. At 8:00pm they knew how many were registered and if they were going to cancel it had to be done then.

If they are to do something they have to let the results that actually happened stand and reschedule the others? Even if they do that they will have problems scheduling as people have already had to create time as the original schedule was given out after the qualification freeroll.

..and I'm saying that thinking of mine and fonzies game as one that didn't happen

Can't agree Mr I.
Many would have been unaware that there was a ''backdoor'' into the software...and some who did know about the Java version still couldn't get in.
So to allow the results to stand when half of the players were unable to play because of the problems would just be wrong.
Two of the games were played with an opponent who must have registered early but then been unable to get in at play time...it looks like only one game went ahead as scheduled.
Got to be cancelled and rescheduled...probably for one of the blank Thursdays...surely there is no other option.

Any games that went ahead should stand, any games where people couldn't get in should be rerun. Simple.

It isn't that simple.
The game between YanZihao and Richlizzard went ahead with only YanZihao at the table.
I am assuming that Richlizzard registered before the site went down and was then unable to join at 8.00.
How on earth can he be penalised for this?

That game didn't go ahead, I am talking about games where both parties took part.

Well I'm not going to argue for argument's sake...but that game did play...I had that table up during play and the blinds were stolen at every point...as anybody would if you were up against an opponent who registers but doesn't play.
Anyway let's see what esport decide..I'd just be surprised if it isn't all rescheduled.

Hi,
yes, if you had registered before the connection problems, then you were put to sit out. In a tournament, where you are seated due to registering earlier, this sort of sitout is the same as you would be there but fold all the time. So you gain the BB, if you are BB and the SB folds b4 you.

That's also the reason, why it takes some time, to solve this. We are checking all the tables now.

No way should I be docked the 3 points I won, it was open to anyone to log in using Java, and I had to give up something else to play on Thursday.
those games with no players should get 2 points each rather than a replay - this league has more than enough rounds as it is.

I tried to use the 'browser' client, but it just hung and then crashed, so I had no way of playing my game.

But I think those games where both players managed to log in and play will be allowed to stand, it's just the ones where players experienced difficulty that will be rescheduled.
