Voted yes for Weds but as per usual maybe a few minutes late
(But i don't think it will matter too much, especially if things go similar to Sunday)

I don't think there is a game on Sunday. This stage finishes tomorrow and quarters don't start til 2nd July.

With all that gap, god knows why they couldn't reschedule last Sunday's game.

Just me stubling along in the dark as per normal ()...... but .......

Having looked at the dates then since I'm in Vegas () from July 1st thru July 16th (plane gets back to Heathrow at 11:05 on July 16th) then I'm going to try pursuade someone else to take over the team submissions for the quarter finals, the semi-finals and first final game (I'm assuming we get through). As duncan and Paul are over there as well then it might be hard raising a full team especially .... however I may put my hand in my pocket and pay for an hour or two's internet access from the room or an internet cafe (I haven't got a laptop) if needed. 7pm will be 10am LV time I think, so first quarter final game I'll be well shattered as I won't have got into hotel until midnight on the 1st. On second and subsequent games I could be playing live poker.

Of course if and when me and Duncan play in the final game I'm fully expecting the team to have two WSOP players who are going back to LV in November (optimist that I am ).

Team for tonight picks itself

Paul Ross, philossify, Reeshah, runadrum, wallg

I suspect that even if we finished bottom tonight we' might qualify, though it is tight at the top, so I suggest aim for at least 5th and take no undue risks .... though at the same time don't worry and play somewhat close to your normal game - its only for fun (and possibly money at some unspecified time in the future ). Lots of luck

I'll be able to play from home if needed on 2nd July and 16th July but will be in Vegas on 6th, 9th and 13th.

Will hopefully have a better idea before we leave regarding availability of players but will investigate taking the laptop if necessary (would prefer not, especially as likely to lead to arguments if Helen also needs to play !).

I'm with you Phil re positive thinking !

[later] having signed us up - the standings on the team page show us 4th with 24. I know the "proper" table shows us 2nd ..... but do I trust eSport not to change the rules and use the other table when deciding who goes through to quarter finals .... ooooohhhh .... play well just in case .....

Nothing there

Just get this - The results of the eSport-Poker League will be available here soon.

I reckon we only need an average result to qualify tonight Lots of other teams need to win, or have nothing to play for - sounds like uber tight from all 5 players should guarnatee us promotion

Anyone knocked out 8th, 9th or 10th - I'm coming for you with a shotgun during my time off if we dont qualify

It seems that links made to specific tables havnt been linked correctly, if you are looking at the teamplay section and then click the link i posted you should be able to see the current league table, however if you are on the Headsup section it takes you to this seemingly dead link. Ive drawn it to the attention of the team in charge of content and should be fixed asap (hopefully).
