Just found a bet on UK betting offering odds of 8/11 for under 40 bookings surly this is a mistake !! Can someone enlighten me.

Surely they mean under 40 points. ie 10 points for a yellow, 25 for a red.

It says under 40 BOOKINGS

hi mate, what they mean is UNDER 40 POINTS.

yellow card = 10 pts
red card = 25 pts

So to win on this you would want no more than 3 bookings tonight.

If it says under 40 bookings and they mean points, would they honour any bet placed, as they've obviously cocked up ?

I doubt very much if they would pay up. They will use the palpable error rule which in effect says that the error is so obvious that you must have known the bet was wrong. They could even produce your posts as evidence to support that view.
