The draw would be "convienient" for both sides, but I have a feeling the Netherlands will put out a strong side and end up beating belgium reasonably comfortably. I will have a small bet on the dutch at 2.98, think it is good value. good luck all.
Nice to know. If netherlands win both halves i get £732.80 back, put £160 on so im just hoping now. Does anyone know What channel it is on in england

Found an interesting thing on betfair....

0-0 in cs market is 4.9 (very low), yet neither side are favourites to keep a clean sheet???? (Dutch are 2.54 to keep a clean sheet(2.88 to lay), and the belgian clean sheet "yes" price is 3.2)

Find that a little strange.....

Serbia U21 defender Rajkovic has signed a 4-year contract with Chelsea, but is likely to join PSV Eindohven on loan(1 year)!

Btw, he's a major doubt for tomorrow's match against England!

Netherlands do not even need a point to advance...they're through already if I'm not mistaken. The situation is this: If they win they play either England or Italy in the next round, whereas if they lose to Belgium they'll play Serbia next round...they therefore have less than nothing to play for...not that they'll lose on purpose or anything, but they may hold back some of their better players. I have taken Belgium DNB +161, and if my book offered a draw I'd play it.

Despite being assured of a place in the semis, Serbia coach Miroslav Djukic is looking for his team to end their group campaign on a high.
"We will give everything to get a result," he said. "I'll pick the best players at the moment and all I can ask is they give their best."
-Sky Sports

Doesn't look good for anyone betting on the England match tonight with the odds already quite low?

Holland v England
Bet 365 are offering 1.925 with (0,-0.5) AH on Holland

To me, this represents good value as an outright win for the Dutch is only 11/10...

What does everyone else think?

hello guys i am on serbia tonight.they have very good team and good coach, respected from players [ how used to be very stady and discipline as player too] and that can push this generation far. problem with serbia is never in players quality but exa. in discipline and team play but this time looks like things have changed. fact is that after first 2 games serbia did't need points but still they have try to play good against england wich is not usual for this mentality. that makes me think that tnight they will not loose and if they could win over italy and cheh. they shold win tonight too. good luck guys

The Serbs are a disgrace to football with their constant play acting. I've seen harder netball teams. C'mon belguim score for the sake of football.

LOL...What a ridiculous comment! What have you been watching these days?Serbia have played by far the best footy in the tournament, even with their B Team(without 9 top player) they totally outclassed England. You should rather take a look at UEFA.com and the official statistic which speaks for itself!

UEFA European U21-Championship
Italy-Portugal
Pick ITALY
2.40@unibet
6/10

This is an important game for qualifying at Olympic Games at Beijing, and also the battle for the 5-th place at this U-21 Championship.
This is a battle between two strong teams who were favourites at begining but those teams were disapointment for the fans.
Both teams will play higly motivated to catch the last train to Beijing and i think this will not be an opened game.Italy improved his performance from the first game to the last, playing better in every game.
Imo as far i saw at this championship Italy played well and deserved a better place but they were coming there with a superiority complex.Italy has excelent players who will play higly motivated and they could beat Portugal and salvage this campaign.
Ricardo Vaz Te, Nani and Manuel Costa are not 100% fit but they could play in this game while Hugo Almeyda is suspendated.
Pazzini an Rossi have huge potential and they could make the diference against a strong Portugal team.
The odds for a Italy win are good and i expect them to drop a little.

GL!

Best bet of the day:

Euro U-21 Championships
Soccer - Italy U21/Portugal U21 - total Over 2 (-147)
for the regulation time held on Jun 21 at 1:45pm [pending]

The winner of this game gets a berth in the Olympics; Portugal just won their last game in group play 4-0, only to fall short of the semis; Italy was knocked out when they could manage just a 2-2 draw against England...they whipped the Czechs 3-1 in their last match.

The reason the Over is so low at 2 is, I believe this paragraph on the UEFA web site:

Italian approach
Portugal coach José Couceiro has also studied the opposition in depth and believes his charges can use what has long been considered a traditionally Italian approach against its inventors. "Tactical preparation has improved on our part and many in Portugal may call it a lack of ambition," he said. "Well, that's what Italians have always done, they have studied the game since they were young. They know that there are moments when you don't take risks and just control the game. It will be a very even contest."

Yes, I believe it will be even, but that doesn't mean 0-0. Both teams should be highly motivated and neither will be able to protect a 1-0 lead imo.

BOL all

Both teams dissapointed for not qualifing for the semis. Both were favourites to do so before the tournamnet, especially Italy, but the loss in first match with Serbia costed them the place in the semis.
Portugal didn't show so far what they are capable of and I think they are up for a good game finally.
I think Draw is the most probable, totesport @3.2, but I'll try also Over 3.5 goals, bet365 @4.33, hoping for 2:2 in the end. GL~
