Will watch Italy game live and back them if they dominate from start. Czech looks lively when playing counter attack against England, 3 lions always overated at national level.

Lets just hope Italy take advantage of England's slip up and top the group to avoid Portugal or Neatherland after group stage. Forza Italia!

Any thoughts on these two matches?

I'm thinking of backing Israel, and the overs in the Portugal match

I'm not having a bet tonight, but my predictions are-

Netherlands 2 -1 Portugal
Think the dutch have a very good side here, but Waterman looked a little dodgy at the back last match against Israel. Babel to nap a goal or two.

Israel 1 - 1 Belgium
Israel threatened the dutch defence a few times last game, think they may be able to get one. I didn't see the Portugal v Belgium match, but from what i've heard Belgium played alright.

Does anyone think that the general standard of football played so far is of a poor standard? Two goals in the opening four games is a poor showing, and I would not be surprised if we only got one goal in the Israel-Belgium game.

If you had done under 2.5 in each game you would be laughing. I just had a dabble on draw half time result on Betfair, and I am very tempted to have a punt on the following:

Belgium 1-0 @ 7.40
Israel 1-0 @ 4.30
Israel 1-1 Belgium @ 9.20

Could also cover yourself with over 2.5 goals @ 7.40

I took the Portugal-Netherlands O 2 at -120, and now have doubled my wager as the price has dropped to -109, probably an (over)reaction to the continued lack of goals...I think either Portugal or Netherlands (especially Portugal) could score multiple goals, and would imagine 1-1 or 2-0 will be the minimum number of scores.

Glad that match is now over, and i'm going to punish myself even more by watching Portugal-Netherlands. Surely there has to be more goals in this match, as a win would almost secure a place in the next round.

Netherlands-Israel 7
Portugal-Belgium 5
Serbia-Italy 5
Czech-England 5
Israel-Belgium 7

Betfair currently have 9 corners or less @ 1.74.

Serbia will be missing one of the best players, Milos Krasic(ruled out for the rest of the tournament) who got injured after only 15min of the Italy match, but the squad is very deep, so there should be no problems I believe.

A few months ago Serbia managed to beat Czech Republic 1:0(Mrdja), in the away match, but that was a friendly game, so no much to read from it.However, the players are really up for this one and they're surely not going to calculate here.Three points are all what matters now, so according to coach Djukic, Serbia will go all out to win this one.Czech Republic proved to be a very tough nut to crack in the oppening round, but this time they'll have to take a little bit more risk if they're to reach the next round and this situation should suit Serbia whose players are used to play under pressure and with quite strong defense and a number of match winners in players like Jankovic, Milovanovic or Kolarov, they won't need more than 2-3 good opportunities(free-kicks) to kill this match.At the moment, Serbia look like a better side, all over the pitch!
