I have to agree actually. Altho I was in Australia last December when this draw was made, it was all over the papaers that this was "the group of death" ![]() ![]() ![]() They really should beat Qatar at home, I'd make it nearer a 1/10 shot ![]() ![]()

Aus to win by 2 goals or more @ $2.00 - FREE MONEY or Over 2.5 goals @ $1.60???? If there are 3 goals or more, that would honestly mean Aus will be up by heaps... so 2+ goals seems easier.. GL

Won't be betting on this one, i imagine Australia will win and will win comfortably, but this Asian league is difficult to gauge at the moment. Aussies are ill prepared, they have a new coach and their poor Asian Cup will be in the back of their minds. Pim Verbeek has good credentials, but with 7 of the 11 starters likely to be coming from abroad and arriving in this country only 24 to 48 hours ago, fatigue may play a part later on in the game. I might just sit back and enjoy the match without getting involved betting wise, and see what this AFC Qualifying path has to offer. Id suggest the match should see Over 2.5 goals though ![]()

Australia -2.5 Australia have most of their overseas players returning for the game and based on their natural instincts, they will look to attack from the outset. They realise the importance of getting off to a great start in their world cup campaign, and in front of a huge Melbourne crowd, the class advantage should see a comfortable victory for the socceroos.
