there national side might never live up to expectations that their clubs do, but their natural footballing ability is how to succeed.

never mind being picky with me, the facts are in black and white - England on the big stage, regardless the manager have never reached the levels the press and john ( is there anything this kid rooney cant do ) motson hype them up to be, its no odds to me if england are successfull or not. Im merely looking from the outside in, and its the same scenario every new manager ( that his tactics where wrong ?????? )

yeah, of course i dont sympothise with England not winning, but I certainly dont batter my head against a wall over it, I spent allday on Friday with family from Hartlepool and we had a good laugh about the football.

drop Lampard ( as I said before the world cup ) and the team has a balance.

TBH even with tonights result. I still see this as a very long term market. The FA imo will still by McLaren till the end of the campaign at the very least. So any money bet is going to sit for a long long time imo.

following sven, i think it would make it very difficult for them to sack him prior to the euro 2008 finals, but if they dont make it and continue to play badly and not get results you might find this market coming into play next summer.

I stand by my original post - and "If Israel get a result vs England.." and they did - I still see this as a 2007 market. For Scotland's sake, I hope not...

Mike Parry of talk sport this morning "England do'nt need a manger the players can manage themselves"
Utter garbage.
Reading between the lines this basically means not many mangers good enough to do it any that are do'nt want it.
What a mess!!

With England 0-0 at half time against Andorra this isn't going to be just a 2007 market, it's going to be a March 2007 market!!!

i like Otmar Hitzfeld at 50/1 as an outsider,

Cant believe Ian Holloway and Neil Warnock have got the same chance as Beckham.

Looks like it still will be a 2007 market (although the FA may not rush an appointment?)

Any thoughts on the latest contenders?
