Wales have an outside chance.

Scotland have to hope that the typical Dutch arguments start and that the whole first team for Holland doesn't show. Failing that - they're fcucked IMO.

RVN was dropped on Saturday for a previous argument with Advocaat. Seedorf was dropped for moaning about playing on the wing. F De Boer and Advoccat don't get on and are arguing.

So we only have to worry about Kluivert, Makaay, Davids, Stam,............now

Ahh well, it will be a good p!ss up on the day of the home leg

Default Holland

bah, Scotland have a decent chance against the dutch team, I think many people still overestimate Holland, of course they are all worldstars but they simply don't have a team and i doubt they will have one within a month...

I saw the draw live on the dutch television today (because the belgian tv didn't broadcast it ) and again they were shouting it was going to be easy, that the scottish team was the weakest team of all, they were even more afraid from Latvia and stupid stuff like that

I give Scotland 50%

Nobody finds it surprising that all strong teams evade eachother, eventhough it was an unseeded draw??? |I

Very dogdy indeed this draw looks, not a single 'Big side' playing each other (ie Turkey, Russia, Spain, Netherlands) Obviously there was a chance this would happen, but it has which will lead to alot of speculation.

What is has lead to though, is alot of easy winners to pick out over the two ties.

I don't care what anyone says, Scotland have absolutely no chance over two legs, whilst Tueky and Spain are not going to have any problems against the opposition they face.

Wales have a tough one, but it they pull out an 'Italy at home' performence, they might just have a chance.

Not even really sure if Croatia Slovenia is an even match up? I'd be tempted to say Slovenia are going to really stuggle to get something from that one to.

Good draw for people wanted to have a bet on these games though, not sure Wales and Scotland fans would agree.

Croatia arent the side they used to be, SLovenia should be favoured (Croatia have Biscan from Liverpool in their side for God's sake !)

Hi qlpol.

I found your statement interesting

Quote:
I give Scotland 50%
I would like £10,000 on Holland at even money to go through then please.

Can you confirm you have the requisite funds? I would like to place a bet with you at those odds please.

Russia against Wales will be very interesting.

Russia at home scored 15 goals in qualifying , conceding 5. They in fact conceded in EVERY home game, and in all but 2 games conceded first. Away was a different story though, drawing 2 and losing 2 and failing to win. I'll be having a punt on Russia's home leg Over 2.5gls, with perhaps a 'Wales to score first' bet on the side. And Wales to DRAW in their home leg ??

hehe, nah i don't have the funds mate, but what i mean is when conditions in the holland squad like their team spirit and their mentality stays the same, Scotland have a decent chance (ok, 50% is a little bit too much )

I agree with you it would be a big surprise though, but Holland is not anymore the team it once was, you can't deny that

Anyways, surprises will always happen in football and I see no reason why Scotland is completely without any chance...

Hi qlpol,

Thanks for having the good nature and humour to answer anyway mate.

Yeah I agree, Holland are not the team they once were and with their continual internal politics, then of course Scotland might just do it.

I hate to admit it (seeing as those 'Jocks' give us English so much stick) but I would love to see them do it to be honest!

Agree Gett1n I would like to see Scotland in the finals along with Wales, its good for the British game i.e. EPL and SPL.

I think Scotland have a reasonable chance again not 50% but who knows, Fletcher and McFadden look exciting and theyre reasonably tight in the middle - defo think they could be worth a small stake at Hampden.

Maybe draw HT Scotland FT.

Best of luck qualifying for the world cup lads.................we'll send you a postcard........AGAIN! :

The draw was fixed as @#%$, even the guy doing the draw couldnt keep a straight face as he read out Turkey and Holland.

Personally I want the best teams at the Euro tournament and that means the dutch, turks (hopefully in our group) croats, rushkis and the spanish.

and Im gonna place the biggest bet of my life....Holland/Turkey 1.49. Thanks Mr Bookie.

Default 1.49 Value?

Dunno Hodgey + Matt???

Turkey looked poor against England.

Latvia beat Sweden away (albeit in a game that didn't mean much to the Swedes).

1.49 on this double looks dodgy value to me boys...

How about looking at it the other way and saying England played well? But then again, it's not cool to give credit to our football team is it?

I saw Turkey play Ireland and they were excellent. And from what I've seen of their other games I'm happy with the double.
