I think you have to be careful of build up matches involving one country not going to the World Cup there is money to be made.

Default Big Worry

I would not read too much into this result, performance. The conditions are so different it would be foolish to make rash judgements just because losing bets were placed.

By far the biggest worry should be the fact that the first 11 has to be given a chance to play together, I will be interested in the line up against Cameroon coming Sunday.

Regarding Danny Mills and Trevor Sinclair. They've never been players.

Hargreaves done well today.

hargreaves was class today.

Ive got a real problem with this change-around thing, it aint right, half these players wont play in the WC anyway we need to stop fcuking about and let the 1st 11 get a chance to play with each other as much as they can.

Wes Brown will never be international class as long as he has a hole in his arse.

Although a Leeds fan who has always defended Danny Mills, I seriously doubt if he is cut out for international level.

Oh wel, at least ladbrokes have sorted my argentina treble so that just about makes up for my loss today...

Default weather

Didn't watch the game as they prefer baseball over here but I should imagine the weather/humidity in Korea is much the same as over here in Tokyo.

Its not that bad at this sort of time so I'm not sure if people can use it as an excuse. fair enough if the kick off is mid day but 6~8pm is quite nice and mild.

I'm sure the result will have no real effect on England in the wc.

What a waste of time taking James...he can't handle pressure and every time I have seen him 'play' for England, he has had a rush of blood to the head....Why not think to the future and try an eventual replacement for Seaman.......Richard Wright??

Heskey,Owen and Vassell up front.I think England will go into a 2-3 Goal lead then revert to 4-4-2.Heskeys Physical presence will terrify the Koreans and Owen and Vassell will feed off the knock-ons.
I am expecting a Great performance from Joe Cole who will start in Midfield with Scholes and Hargreaves.

Take no notice, Hibrox is still clinging on to Scotland's 1-0 win at Wembley, the equivalent of England winning the World Cup 3 times on the bounce.

England would have comfortably beaten Korea if they hadn't made so many changes

Well paul at least i aint a primma donna or psychic.
How can you say with surety that they would have beat them?
Of course it's kinda embarrasing for engerlund they couldn't beat south korea after all they beat the Scots 4-1 and we aint even got a team
Let's be a little more Humble paul !! it's better than eating Humble pie

On a more serious note i would be really worried about the defence you have as i think it will toil against really fast sneaky strikers.
But you can be rest assured that all my beloved country will be behind engerlund come June

And Digital nae offence m8 ye took it as the bit of banter it was.
Blimey at last an englander with a sense of humour whatever Next. Maybe owning up the fukin ball wasn't over the line.

Default Hibrox

Now that will NEVER happen!! Much like the fact that Engurland would have won the Cup in 1986 if MacMaradona hadn't handled the ball!!

Bitter? Us? Too right we are

On a more serious note, you mention the English defence. I actually think 3/4 of the back four is fine, Cole, Campbell and Ferdinand will do ok. However I do think they have a problem at right back as Mills and Brown don't seem to convince. But I can actually see their biggest problems being in midfield, only Cole, Scholes and Hargreaves properly fit at present, I have a feeling that will come back to haunt them.

Hong Kong XI - we sh*t em, bring on the Faroes

Well crowie i think campbell is vulnerable and ferdinand has went off the boil a tad.
Your maybe right about the Midfield too.
Didn't want to bring a total downer on the englanders.
Plenty time for that
