The argentina team is way stronger than any other team it will take a miracle for them not to win it!! i think the first round of group matches the teams will be very nervous expect a lot of games under 2.5. my bet for the first game uruguay v peru is diego forlan to score. He is in really good goalscoring i would expect him to score first if not then anytime.

Goal and FIFA do decent coverage of the competition, for the Spanish speakers or ones or want to translate CONMEBOL is very good. It seems like Argentina have announced their team for the clash against the States already.

I think I might take Mexico @ 12.0 as their odds will shoot right down if they get a favourable result against Brazil (and escape their group). Can then lay to go in the green.

Venezuela v Bolivia

The price is too low for the home team,and home team played 45 games in this cup from beginning at now ;

Just 1 Win - 7 Draw - 37 Defeat...

Bolivia : played 99 - 19 Win - 23 Draw - 57 Defeat

Selection :
Double Chance x2

My call EXACTLY - The Mexicans are vastly under-rated here. 12.0 is a huge price here. I cant even see why you would want to green after the Brazil game - I fancy them to hold out and I'd green when about 5/2 or 2/1

Remember that the top TWO from each group progress but also the best TWO THIRD PLACED teams so MEXICO are almost certain of a quarter final spot.

That said, COLUMBIA @ 31.0 is a must under the same circumstances

I always like doing the specials on tournaments.

Only firm I can see doing them is PInnacle.

My favourite bet is the fastest goal of the tournament to be in the first three minutes at -120 (US odds) 5/6 (fractions.) Max bet is only $100 though which is a shame but if you do the maths, the probability is that this will happen.

Total tournament goals is priced at o/u 72.5. Anyone offer any advice as to which way to bet on this one (26 games total).

Other bets that interest me are

Biggest margin of victory in any one single game o/u 4.5 goals
Highest goal total in any one game o/u 6.5 goals
Total penalty shoot outs o/u 1.5 (only 8 matches in the knockout stage so inclined to go under on this one)

In a group with Colombia, Argentina and Paraguay.

I'm a bit out of touch with South American football. Are Paraguay and Colombia still half decent? Looks like a tricky group to me - certainly the trickiest of the three.
