| Well, after Iraq doing us a favour yesterday (albeit so did the South Africans front line) I fancy another potential "upset" with the Americans to get something from the world cup holders Italy. These 2 drew 1-1 back in Germany in 2006 and of course we all know what happened after that. But that is my point, the Italians always seem to have an attitude of it doesn't matter how we get there, so long as we do, and I can just see the americans being more "up" for this game than the Italians. Both sets of form figures hardly set the world alight so I will be playing up some winnings from yesterday on the handicap with USA. |

| I think that the SA iraw game was the worst game of football in ages! they are both dreadful! infact they were that bad when it went 4-0 to spain both commentators agreed new zeland would probably go through with spain! bad day when a team being taught a lesson are touted to qualify! Anyway guys todays games: Brazil v Egypt Feel this will be a comfortable 90mins for a strong brazil squad! Egypt aint bad but have struggled recently! i fancy Brazil ht/ft brazil 3-0 kaka anytime scorer and also have a bit of brazil to score a penalty as they egyptians are a big strong side but the nimble footwork of robinho kaka could earn a pk! Italy v USA very hard game to call! personaly i feel the italians have a good squad! but there attitude is poor! they dont believe they have to turn up in a tournie till later on. The usa are poor but are a hard side to break down. So for me its usa +1, iaquinta 1st goal and last goal and also have a bit on 1-1 |

| I'm very tempted by Brazil -2 corners @1.935. Reasoning being that there are leading their qualifying group, playing near their best team and should have most of the possession. Lots of shots and crosses = lots of corners as far as I know. Amir Zakhi pulled a hamstring which leaves some player from Borussia Dortmund to score the goals against the meanest defense in South America. I was going to bet on 'Both teams to score? NO' @ 1.87 but that seems a bit skinny. Useful article: http://www.worldsoccer.com/competiti...scup/egypt.php |

| to be fair mate! zidan from dortmund used to be a first choice! im sure i read he dosent get on with the manager maybe wrong though! however if mido is in the squad then zaki being out is good as they 2 would be upfront and they dispise each other! zidan is a good player and skilfull! although id fancy brazil to win to nil |

| Really I think you guys are underestimating Egypt. Yes, they have struggled of late but these are the champions of Africa. Brazil always even when they're 1/10 on or something are a risky bet for me. They had to come from behind against Paraguay. They just always seem to me like they make hard work of it.I am going to have abit of fun on Aboutrika for Egypt and penalty taker Hosni for Egypt in the anytime markets. Italy are the same and the friendly matches which have been leading up to this tournament is basically the team they have brought to the tournament. The results include - Italy 4-3 New Zealand. Went down 3 times in that game. Enough said. USA could be a very valuable bet. |

| For those that agree that Egypt have more than a half-chance of a draw or a 1-goal defeat (1-0, 2-1 etc) to Brazil then the Egypt +2 at 10/11 (paddypower) seems like good value.

| From goal.com Luis Fabiano returns to the squad after serving a one-game suspension. Possible formation: Julio Cesar, Alves, Lucio, Juan, Kleber, Gilberto Silva, Felipe Melo, Elano, Kaka, Robinho, Luis Fabiano. From the BBC Brazil have named a powerful squad that includes new Real Madrid signing Kaka. Manchester United midfielder Anderson and Chelsea defender Alex pulled out of the squad with injuries, but Manchester City forward Robinho should start. I'm starting to think about maybe the Brazil -2, that is one hell of a team.

| USA sucks along side Andorra and San Marino. Face it, they are a baseball nation. Football (soccer) will never be their game. Italy are world champions. Italy @ 1.71 - Betfair.com Brazil will beat Egypt as everybody knows that brazilians are agile and fast, and with that killer lineup, the desert country dont stand a chance. Brazil -1.5 @ 1.84 - Betfair.com

| think alves might get a goal today just got 7.6 on betfair score anytime and ive done more than 1.5 goals in the first half if brazil are going to whack egypt then their goals should come in the first half if theres much of a gulf, also brazil dont always start too hot and egypt may nick an early goal |
