Rating Lays

I'm going to post the stats for each of the separate approaches for July. It's getting hard keeping separate spreadsheets for the ones posted on the forum and my own longer term records so from now on I'm just going to post stats which include everything I've laid which pre-dates the forum lays as i said in a previous post.

I've broken down the stats in terms of all selections, favourites only and non-favourites. If anyone wants the spreadsheets with all selections and wants to analyize it in terms of field size, SP etc. you're more than welcome to it.

Another area which I have neglected to record but will start doing is the area of non-runners. Obviously they will effect results but especially if it's 2nd or 3rd forecast favourites who are pulled. It might be worth considering this if you follow these.

First of all an apology. As some may have noticed Bazguy also appeared in my Best of the Day thread. I mistakenly posted it here as well. I won't be including it in the figures as I had previously said in post 223 that when I do this don't lay them. I only noticed just before the off and didn't have time to post a warning so very sorry to anyone who laid it If you are following these do check the other thread as my portfolio has many approaches and I will make mistakes when posting. Either way, every recommended lay won it's race but at tiny odds so no serious damage done.

Eastern Anthem was in a strange race with two withdrawals - hit 5.0 in-running too. Btw, for the record, Amarican Art and Splash The Cash, albeit winning lays, didn't qualify as they were nowhere near the fav

Also, interestingly - both RR lays were just now wanted by the market, with especially King's Event drifting alarmingly 5 minutes before the off

Dunno if it helps anyone, but promised it a while ago and was around most of the day today
