Rating Lays

This is an attempt to look at RP forecast favourites in small fields and either back or lay them. This is largely based on where they figure in my own ratings as with my other threads. I also consider whether I think, based on the forecast price, if they represent value to me. That is a totally subjective opinion.

I haven't decided on staking or odds ceilings or the like but will post for now and monitor. Obviously as will be short priced horses the whole thing could go belly up quite quickly but I'm willing to give it a month if you are

Tougher day today but there were a hell of a lot of selections. I will need to sort them out but at the moment I'm just whacking them all on here to monitor. A small loss on the lays and a wipeout on the backs today but its the lays I'm interested in more.

£400 BANK and going to do 5% stake

No pressure eh? Easy for you to say mate. Do go easy and the usual 'don't bet with money you can't afford to lose' etc rules apply. As these are largely favourites in small fields I don't doubt a string of results going against us could easily happen. I'm still looking at some filtering especially in terms of odds. Maybe setting a ceiling at 4.0/4.5 max betfair price to lay at. I'll have a clearer sense of things after a month or so. Best of luck and I'll hold you to that beer
