Nyrche, who seems best when allowed to bowl along, jumped with aplomb and was still a couple of lengths in front and going well when his rider took him out at the second-last. He looked the winner at the time, and having clearly taken well to chasing, is one to keep on the right side of in similar company. Over fences he has proved well suited by front-running tactics, and his only defeat came when he was held-up in a decent race at Exeter, but he did win from off the pace over hurdles.

I didn't see it either, I was listening to live commentary, and was truely gutted and confused what actually happened!

Cause it certainly sounded like a victory for Nyrche until that happened.

Hello Ralphie, the jockey Wayne Hutchinson has beem banned for 14 days for missing out the last but one fence from home. He is said to have told the furious trainer Alan King that shouting behind him made him think that other jockeys were telling him that he was going the wrong way so he steered Nyrche hard left. There was nothing wrong with the horse
