Ralphie,

I have noticed 2 non runners which subsequently ran and won a few days after they were supposed to. Since I started following this system and keeping records (10 June), there have been 4 non runners, 3 of which delivered on their next time out.

Have you noticed the same or is it just co-incidence?

2nd Figaro Flyer won twice within the space of 24 hours at York last week, following up his victory in a seller with a five-length nursery romp. Off the same mark here, he once again tried to make all, and very nearly did so, for it was only the final punishing hill that did for the speedy trailblazer. He will be seen to better effect at a less gruelling venue and on quicker ground.

8th Incroyable did not deliver what was expected. A winner four days ago, she was turned out under a penalty - as her trainer loves to do - but could not produce the goods. Admittedly she lost momentum when spooking and becoming unbalanced two furlongs out, but she was being pushed hard before then and did not find much afterwards.

I do believe the first one was not a qualifier but am amazed that I was able to get 3/1 at a bookies during the live show!!!

Mr M, I am going to try and keep an eye on the non runners for the rest of the week.

1st A typical Epsom claimer, given that it featured horses of wide-ranging ability, a few of which possess more talent than the average animal in this sphere.
LORD OF THE EAST certainly fits into that mould, and he made the most of what was obviously an excellent chance at the weights to post his fifth Epsom success. A strong traveller, he was not hard pressed to get to the front and then dossed once ahead to win with something in hand. Now successful three times this season, he will continue his racing career for Ian McInnes after the latter claimed him out of David Nicholls' yard.

Just spotted Yound Elody is a NR in Galway 5.40 so I think that makes Kinger Rocks a selection as it won by 3 lengths 4 days ago although it was over jumps.

I'll have a few quid on it anyway!
