How many selections before going live ?

Im itching to go live as my testing has proven profitiable for now.........
You reckon test for another 2 months as 1 month has gone and its in profit.
Or 300 selections

Your thoughts will be greately appriciated

if you feel confident about it then do it
explain that this has only been
paper tested for a month but has
shown a good profit.
then everyone knows the situation
and its up to them if they put real money on
or not.

If it survives the dreaded posting you have probably got a good system.

I have to agree with Ralphie- if you're confident enough that the system is performing relatively well then start posting but make sure people are aware that you are still in the 'testing' stage. If people see the systems are going well, then it's up to them to decide whether they want to follow with real money or not.
I started posting my systems with only a couple of weeks backtesting (but I had Massey's five year report to fall back on as well ). My thinking at the time was that I would post up my selections initially as a method of keeping track of what I was doing but also as an incentive to keep me disciplined at the same time (hence the naming of my thread to Aelara's Downfall as I wasn't sure what would happen ).
At the end of the day though, it's your choice but good luck with whatever that decision is
