this is something that i do in p/pots, to help me decipher a tough race. if there is 3 or more first time horses in a race then back the horse that is fav at the off. been trialling it and so far it is alright. Today there was 7 races with

decided to put it on here for everyone else to have a snigger at it.

Nice going. Ive been looking at this myself since you started the thread as a lot that don't win place and I have a tendancy for backing place favs.

I done the 1st 4 on Saturday in a acca, win only as you cant do e/w on unnamed favs (as Im sure you know). 3 winners and a second!! Would have been a 40/1 or so acca!

i've a qusetion, on betfair, can you place accys on the to place market?

Not pre-placed, no. Of course you can always just roll the winnings on after each bet.

Welshie, any stats you want for win or placed 'jollies' let me know

I've got every favourite this season on a spreadsheet.

I can sort by date, course, type of race (maiden, handicap etc) class of race, name of horse, number of runners, starting price, won or placed and distance of race.

Got all the odds-on shots listed separately as well as on the main sheet.

I'll hopefully be putting up the stats soon, when there have been 1,000 races (940 gone)
