Default Sweden Tonight

Malmo FF v Trelleborgs
Halmstads v AIK Stockholm&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp
IFK Gothenborg v Orgryte

I havent seen the odds for these games yet, but judging by the current league table these should all be comfortable home wins. Is there anything I should know that could put me of any of them?

I have no knowledge of the players etc, but using league tables and form alone then Malmo looks a stick on. Only thing against it is the last 3 years H2H's - they've lost them all.

Good luck with it.

IFK v Orgryte is a big derby game so its probably wise to keep away from this game.

I personally dont see any value in Halmstad match as AIK have the ability to defend well even with their injuries.. They have also done well against Halmstad away from home..

I took Malmo at Ladbrokes for 1.50 which is a reasonable price but most places are at 1.30ish - dont take it too low..

Cheers

Halstads should win but AIK on their day are a top three side and can defend well - plus i do not think they have as many injury problems as they did at start of season..

odds on Halmstads too low - above 1.90 may consider

FT Halmstads 1 AIK 2 bad luck on this one...

Also think IFK is a risk, playing ok but nothing special had a few days off but had played 3 games in quick succession and were held by the improving Landsrona.
If you can get 2.00 for home win take it as IFK have fully fit squad and Ijeh and Mourad are making a potent strike partnership

FT 4-0 (my double in and 2 for Ijeh!)

Malmo should not have any problems here, Trelleborgs just can not settle and Malmo best team in league at the moment.
Home win @1.35

FT 4-2

Sundsvall Kalmar interests me - both teams unbeaten in equal fixtures - Sundsvall at 3,4,0 Home form and Kalmar at 3,3,0 Away form.

Kalmar lost 1-2 at home against Hammarby Sundsvall beat them 2-0 - they have also beaten Halmstads at home but Kalmar have picked up their best results away - it all points towards a draw - no major injuries either side, Kalmar taking the same 16 as last game - i think the edge might go to Sundsvall on current form @2.20 home win (cover on draw if you feel nervous)

FT 0-1 oops sorry but i was unsure and Halmstads bet already killed my five fold...

Just a good old double for me tonight : Malmo-Halmstads

Think all that needs to be said about Malmo has already been said - the best team in Sweden at home against a newly-promoted side, what more could you ask for than the 1.40(Ladbrokes) available?

As for Halmstads, I think they're a strong home team as their recent results would show - they shaded Hammarby at home when they were 3rd(and Hammarby were 2nd), leapfrogging to 2nd place now. They should have too much for AIK, who are not very good travellers themselves. 2.10 good value IMO.

Hence, a 8pt double on Halmstads-Malmo @ 2.94

Hello

Malmö - Trelleborg is considered a derby too. The two cities are located about 30 minutes from each other by car. Trelleborg may raise their level to beat "big brother" Malmö. Here are some statistics from the matches between the two teams taken from Malmös website.

Historik:
Datum H/B Spelort Arena Publik Resultat Halvtid
85-05-30 B Trelleborg Idrottsplats 7395 2 - 1 (1-1)
85-09-02 H Malmö Stadion 11394 2 - 0 (0-0)
92-04-20 B Trelleborg Idrottsplats 7815 0 - 1 (0-1)
92-07-08 H Malmö Stadion 12132 1 - 1 (1-0)
93-06-10 H Malmö Stadion 10109 1 - 4 (0-2)
93-08-29 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 6139 0 - 1 (0-1)
94-05-30 H Malmö Stadion 8475 0 - 1 (0-1)
94-08-03 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 5086 2 - 1 (0-1)
95-06-19 H Malmö Stadion 7850 2 - 1 (1-0)
95-10-23 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 3377 0 - 0 (0-0)
96-06-05 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 4604 1 - 1 (1-1)
96-09-04 H Malmö Stadion 4908 2 - 0 (0-0)
97-06-23 H Malmö Stadion 8418 5 - 2 (1-1)
97-07-30 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 5214 1 - 2 (0-0)
98-05-11 H Malmö Stadion 9326 0 - 1 (0-1)
98-10-18 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 5410 0 - 0 (0-0)
99-05-24 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 7592 1 - 3 (0-0)
99-10-18 H Malmö Idrottsplats 7394 1 - 2 (0-2)
01-06-11 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 6563 4 - 0 (1-0)
01-08-12 H Malmö Stadion 9004 1 - 3 (0-2)
04-05-03 B Trelleborg Vångavallen 9843 1 - 1 (1-1)

H = home match
B = away match
In the score the first numbe is always Malmös goals even in the away matches. So teh first match played in 85-05-30 was played in Trelleborg and ended with a 2-1 Malmö win

Malmö is the most successful team historically in this region of Sweden and every team in the region wants to beat them. The table shows that Malmö is a lot stronger but a win for Trelleborg means more than 3 points...

Noticed Halmstads is just 1.61 at Ladbrokes now and Malmo only 1.36.

Nevertheless, would still fancy the double here. Good luck. :b

is not looking good

Halmstad 0 AIK 2 60'

i had a 5fold with Halmstads but my large bet was Malmo and IFK double - Malmo being held though so might be without a win tonight unless Aachen pull something out of the back for me later..

won nicely on Metrostars last night though so still smiling....Halmstads still have chance but it's a slim one
