With Barça numbers of 2008-09 season, its impossible that Madrid win championship.
With Fiorentino in previous stage as president, Madrid spend 500 mill € and only win 1 Champions League and 2 Ligas in 6 seasons.

I think the lack of signings in the top line clubs is because they are waiting for the end of the summer as prices will surely go down, as clubs will be eager to close their squads.

I think Frank Ribery will end in Madrid this summer or the next.

The situation in Valencia CF could change radically as a change in the ownership could happen and this could lead to players being sell, precisely those that Llorente denied to do so.

I'm just surprised that Bilbao haven't brought in Xabi Prieto or Mikel Gonzalez yet. They've been too good for Sociedad for some time now.

Real Sociedad dont want sell players to enemy. Only with too much money would sign Real players and Bilbao havent money.

Yeah, fair enough. Sociedad seem to be more of a feeder club to Bilbao than rivals these days - Zubiaurre, Balenziaga, Di Cerio etc.

I thought Bilbao had a reasonable amount of money? They don't spend much for obvious reasons

1st round will be 20-21 August. i dont know matches yet.

Zokora (Totenham) transfered to Sevilla
Asenjo (Valladolid) transfered to Atletico.

Atletico had signed good players as Juanito and Asenjo (spectacular keeper, will be next Spain Team keeper, when Casillas cant play) and had recovered Jurado and Cleber Santana. Can be Championship candidate.

Luis Fabiano (Sevilla) almost sure will play in Milan next season.

In LFP.es website there is not the schedule yet,still I have a file that came out in as.com (or other source, I don't remember) with the proposed almost sure rounds (when play, still not the encounters). The problem is I have it in another city and will be back there in some days, maybe a week.
