ReasoningBarcelona regularly go over 2.5 goals particularly when playing lower level rivals. Cadiz have been beaten in games going over 2.5 goals by Valencia and Real Madrid and I expect this game to follow the same pattern. I will suggest backing the 2-0 correct score option to cover the bet.

making the CL final shouldn't stop Barca from as good as sealing the title with a win at home to Cadiz today -IMO!

I may add the 2/1 Ht/Ft double just to add spice incase Barca do come out of the traps slowly!
2-0 and 3-1 both seem about right to me on the CS's

Real 0-4-1 last 5 away
Osasuna 2-2-2 last 6 home
and Valencia 2-3-0 last 5 home
all seem to be doing their level best to avoid 2nd spot by dropping as many points as possible all over the place. as the pressure mounts I think it's looking like Valencia who've started getting their act together just at the right time.

Valencia now have 4 straight wins and are facing an Alaves side that's played out four 0-0's in their last six matches! [snoozeville!]
the unders looks on as does the Valencia clean sheet and a win to-nil, IMO!
2-0 seems to be a fair punt on the CS's here also!

Osasuna v Real is probrably best left alone but I think a lay of the home side is going to prove a winning punt!
not exactly sure why though! - I think Osasuna may attack Real and lose as a result! but?

Levante looks like winners today, but I'm not sure about the price. They have ultra rich president and he wants Primera football next season. There are rumuors that players will get 100,000 euros each if they get there, so there shouldn't be any doubts about their motivation

Getafe v Villarreal

I am not a spannish football specialist but i will have a bet on Getafe as Riquelme , Tacchinardi, Sorin and Josico will miss tomorrow's game and Villareal is a much weaker side without those 4 players.

Getafe odds 2.3 @ betfair 7/10

Getafe' are a good call even without the news of Villarreals weakened squad archaeus-IMO!
in the last 6 matches they've played 3 of the top 4
Losing to Barca away 3-1
beating Osasuna away 0-4
and drawing with Real 1-1 at home
they won the other 3 matches BTW!

they're a team famed for some great away performances but I'm all over them at those odds! with 1-1 draw cover though, just in case!

ReasoningValencia are a pretty potent force at home and are always capable of scoring plenty of goals. With this being a game with a bit difference in class, Valencia are over 1000 points in front on Rateform figures and have been in good goalscoring form lately. IMO the true odds are about 1.8 or a little less so I will cover the bet with the correct score of 2-0.

Don't have enough time for detailed post but if you see what is at stake tonight when Madrid visit Osasuna you'll understand why over 6.5 bookings is the bet to take! 8/11 is a little skinny but takeable! Encounter earlier this season and pressure adds to bookings possibilities as Madrid field a weakish team. Sending off market looks nice, 2.76 available at betfair. Best of luck all

Ok, got few mins

Osasuna, 13 red cards in their games involved this season (34) 6/13 OSA
Madrid, 13 red cards in their games involved this season (34) 9/13 MAD

So two pretty badly disciplined teams and red cards for Madrid have mainly come in tight games

1-0 Loss away @ Espanyol
1-2 Loss home to Valencia
2-2 Draw away @ R. Sociedad
1-0 Win home to Getafe
1-1 Draw away @ Barcelona
1-1 Draw home to R. Sociedad

Just short of one every three games when both stats taken into account

Last fixture looked like this:

Sunday 18 Dec 2005
Sunday 18/12/200520:00Spanish League Primera Div 1Real Madrid
12' Da Silva Roberto Carlos
27' Jose Maria Gutierrez Fernandez Guti
31' Robinho
54' Michel Salgado
61' Sergio Ramos
83' Roberto Soldado
87' Zinedine Zidane
1 : 1Osasuna
14' Francisco Punal
15' Romero Urtasun Josetxo
25' Moha Yaacoubi(Moha)
37' Carlos Cuellar
63' Sosa
76' Savo Milosevic

Filth.

Carlos should've seen Red with Punal that day as it was Carlos's elbow that caused the fracas with Punal. Revenge will be sweet me thinks tonight for Osasuna and the harsh atmosphere will create bookings galore and hopefully our dismissal!

That's more like it, 3 just before half time. Almost halfway there in a match so close that it will surely hot up after the break... if not before!!
