Default Netherland Jupiler League 17.08

Tip Detail

SportFootball (Holland)
EventDen Bosch - Omniworld
SelectionDen Bosch
Strength10/10
Date17/08/2007
Bookmaker/PriceSportingBet @ 1.62 (Back)
ReasoningFor me there's only one favourite in this one.Omniworld were never good travelers and they are going to play on a tough ground which Den Bosch surely is.Last season matches ended with two comfortable Den Bosch wins 3:0 and 4:1.

Dutch law versus Dutch Bookies
There is some discussion about the upcoming problems that inhabbitants from Hollland in future is forbidden to bet by foreign bookies.
WOK ( wet op kansspelen ) is name of the organisation.
Problems for us betters from Holland.
I opened a new topic under bookmaker discussions named :
Law and Order Dutch Gamblers WOK ( only Dutch topic )
Please read this carefully and please write your knowledge aqnd facts.
Thanks.

I'm thinking about Veendam home to Maastricht, over 3 for better than evens. Veendam played a 2-2 on the road Volendam, while MVV surprised relegators ADO den Haag 2-1. The thing holding me back is MVV have not been great travelers recently...maybe ruudje will show today and give us the scuttlebutt on his team...

Anyone have thoughs on SC Heerenveen today? at home vs Williem. Williem were dreadful on the road last year don't look much improved Heerenveen with some key losses...anyone have an opinion on who wins? likely scoreline? looking to put them in a treble.

Hi guys,

I’ve got very little time today. There is an annoying thing called work that keeps me from devoting all my time to the matches tonight. Like I said last week, I like to be careful in the beginning of the season, so I am not putting too much in at the moment.

Best bet of the weekend in this league is on Sunday when ADO host RBC Roosendaal. ADO has had a bad start to the season, but when looking at their potential and budget they should easily win the title this season. It’s the first home match for them of the season, but more importantly it’s their first league match in their new stadium. RBC are not as strong as they were last season, so to me the price on Betfair is quite good.

Back ADO @ 2.06 on Betfair (look around for even better prices)

For those interested in MVV I must say it’s even difficult for me to estimate the chances of my team tonight. MVV played very, very well last week v ADO. New coach Robert Maaskant (formerly at RBC) wants the team to play more aggressively and his influence con the team certainly showed last week. However, MVV always are much worse in away matches and I myself am very scurious to see whether this season will be any different. Anyhow, it’s a no-bet to me.

For tonight’s matches I like the look of Dordecht. They didn’t start well last week, but tonight at home against Top Oss I expect a win. Although price is skinny I’ll go for this:

Back Dordrecht @ 1.60 on Betfair

My final (risky) choice would be to go against Volendam at Fortuna tonight. Fortuna made some good buys this summer and look a much stronger outfit than last year. New coach Henk Wisman of Fortuna has a long and (for the most part) successful history as coach at Volendam. I think Fortuna should be able to keep Volendam at bay tonight, therefore:

Lay Volendam @ 2.4 on Betfair

I'd be careful. Heerenveen will be without their all important Brazilian goalscorer Alves. He's not fit enough according to coach Verbeek. His striking partner Nilsson left the club this summer for St Etienne. Add to this some more injuries up front and you might understand I have some doubts.
