I reckon Teplice might be worth a second look away at lowly Blsany and Brno should beat Pilsen after breaking the duck of late. All first thoughts. Yet again, Sparta should start winning asap, the reigning champs are nearer the relegation zone than the top, but I'm not that desperate to back them @ such odds to beat lively Mlada Boleslav (although they should).

By the looks of it, backing high-flying Ruzomberok to beat nonsense outfit of Inter (once with Cup Winners' Cup famous run) must be buying money @ 1.30. Quite like Zilina too, but there are some question marks putting me off for the time being.

inter bratislava have lost the last five, failing to score in the last two and all five of those games were overs!-if the little info I can gather is correct-
could you tell me where the best site to get info on these games is?-thanks!

I intend backing slovan liberec 2-0 as a banker in some correct score mutiples Tulenos- I fancy banik ostrava 2-0 aswell!
I'd really like your opinion on these,I've had a crappy month and really need to pick a few winners!-so no pressure
all joking aside Tulenos -your expertise would be much appreciated
THANKS!

ps, "LEAGUES EAST OF CARLSBAD" -
sounds like the title of a novel- excellent

Adythom - last time Liberec beat Slavia A HOME was in 2001, since then there were two draws and a narrow win. Slavia also in red hot form and sitting in fourth, not sure I'm willing to oppose the Prague guys exactly here, although their away form reads 1-2-3.

Banik 2-2-2 @ home, Jablonec 0-2-3 away BUT, the H2H record is more than interesting - draws in L3, 6 draws out of L8 (the rest Banik's wins of 1-0 and 2-0, but last two homers were draws). In fact, Banik are only thirteenth in the league when it comes to home results and are generally inconsistent - 1-1-1 in L3 homers. Jablonec may look inconsisten, but it's only their away form, they are rock solid @ home (which is not this week.

Re Inter - Inter is really a joke of a team (once mighty, but now not really wanted in the capital, there are other teams with huge following, like Artmedia (you know them from CL)).

thanks Tulenos,
ruzomberok 2-0, 3-0 may be worth a few coppers!
I can see why the 1-1 score lines were offered at such small odds aswell now!
I'll check the stat sites again before I make my mind up!

by the way,who are the best bookies for eastern european matches in your opinion?
and which ones should be avoided?

thanks again Tulenos!

Slovak league not on offer @ loads of books (check betbase.info - incl. stats, but the first 10 or so are local Czech and Slovak books. Czech league - the usual suspects - B365 or BF seem the best options, but there are defo more - B@W, but I can't really recommend them and their prices are often low (the same applies to SportingBet).

I've taken the advice from the bookies and exchanges link and decided to avoid sportingbet altogether!
the correct score odds from sportingodds are worth avoiding also!
ruzemberok 1-0,2-0@4.5 - I think they pick the most likely outcome and drop the odds to discourage and save themselves!
I think that paddypower does this aswell! I found centrebet far more generous!

thanks for betbase info Tulenos! you're a gem! that will be my first job next week!

Thx for the kind word, adythom. BTW, SportingBet and SportingOdds belong to the same bookmaking group so they are as near as possible. Centrebet is generous in the case of most sports, in fact. Paddy Power does the Czech league only (together with Polish - which is a new addition), but Slovak league is covered @ Centrebet and SportingOdds out of major books. Betbase can be used for about all leagues, too

A big thank you mate, after an initial scare when Inter went One up

Didnt get much on as my bookie tends to limit stakes on these leagues but 30% return beats any /bank account!!!

You're welcome

The winner scored two minutes from time and the third (3-1 FT) even later.

Liberec only drew 3-3 after being comfortably 3-1 up @ HT in their televised match. Hopefully you had nothing on that banker 2-0 win, adythom

Sparta going to scrape a narrow win now (3-2 in the closing minutes).

I risked a few £'s on a lucky 15

there's too much I don't know about these teams and leagues to risk big money!

shame about the inter goal aswell!

the weekend isn't over yet though! thanks Tulenos

Brno to bt Pilsen @ evs *Interwetten*

Pilsen got a result @ Brno was back in 1995. Since then - 5 straight home wins (Viktoria spent some time in the 2nd league in the meantime). Brno's form ain't very convincing (home 1-1-1 L3), but the last home match saw an inspiring win over strong Slavia. They also had loads of poor luck earlier in the season when they conceded an injury time goal in some four matches on the trot. Pilsen have just one away win and two away draws (3 losses) this season and are 0-2-1 in L3 aways. Have also heard some rumouors the club was given the right telling off by the sponsors who even threatened cutting of financial resources if the team doesn't start winning now as they are stone cold last in the league on 8 points, ie some 4 points off survival atm. Interwetten have Brno priced up @ evens which is the price I've taken. 10/11 @ B365 ain't too bad either. Generally they are available @ ca 5/6.

Yet another injury time goal, but to make it 3-1 for Brno this time for a change

Teplice only drew @ Blsany also probably partly because of the weather. It's almost freezing in here and a snow calamity is expected @ night in the north of Moravia - and snowing should move towards east-west then. So we'll see what the weather shows us just before the weekend and if the matches will be affected.
