Hi all,

here are my picks for today/tomorrow Serie A matches:

Sampdoria - Catania: 1/Over

Sampdoria still without Cassano but able to show good football lately. Catania very bad outside but still playing offensive football (4-3-3).
I believe Sampdoria winning this match and some goals expected.

Atalanta - Empoli: 1X

Atalanta at home is very good and could win this match but Empoli quite umpredictable lately and as no draw results the last 10 matches, maybe to risk a draw as well could worth a while.

Fiorentina - Genoa: X2

Fiorentina has Mutu back into the 11 but should be very tired after the battle against Everton in Uefa; considering Genoa playing very good football lately with in form forward Borriello, I'll try a risky bet Genoa not to loose.

Udinese - Lazio: 1/Over

Two offensive teams today are facing each other and my forecast is in favour of more classy home team but I would rather bet for Over as I'm expecting goals on both sides.

Roma - Milan: 1

Both teams will try to win this crucial match but I believe Roma could win it as more balanced and in shape even if Milan didn't loose last 10 matches (even the last one they playied quite badly). Home team to win then.

Juventus - Napoli: 1H

Juve will try to win this match to have revenge of Napoli as they lost previous one (3-1) with 2 fake penalties. Del Piero to score could be another option to bet as he quite often scored against Napoli who will miss 2 important players (Zalayeta and Blasi) but Calaio' is replacing the forward and trying not to loose but few chance to manage it I believe.

Inter - Palermo: X2

Question: Is Inter boosted by CL failure and is trainer Mancini able to manage discrepancies within the team? My answer is NO (at least not today); Palermo could profit the negative mood Inter is facing actually plus Miccoli and Amauri could be dangerous against a not Inter perfect defense.

Livorno - Parma: X

Livorno last 10 matches scored just 6 goals. Both teams looking for 3 points but a draw here is a more predictable one even if Parma could win this match but the main target for them is not to loose it; also Parma got Cuper as new trainer so he will try first not to loose this crucial match.

Reggina - Siena: X

In shape Siena is travelling to Reggio where it's not easy to get points but Reggina showing some limits lately and a draw here could satisfy both teams.

Cagliari - Torino: X

Another draw for me even if Cagliari at home is palying decent football lately but I believe Torino will be able not to loose this match with a classy player like Rosina and very good middlefield players.

that's all...wish you GL.

Ciao

sorry fellow punters no predictions this matchday, and that means play the draw across the board. I'm conservative on my team Roma and think they might only work a draw with Milan I hope they get all 3 points to keep pace with Inter who might struggle here.

been missing your prescence on the serie A thread max, been away for quite a while myslef but glad to see u posting...
overs in Atalanta look worth a bet but i think Roma will probably take the points against a deflated and tired Milan in every sense of the word, Totti ATS is probably the safest bet in the market!

Agree with you aircooled, taken Totti @ 2.44 with Betfair to score any time. Think he has an excellent chance to score tonight and will naturally be most likely player to net for Roma. I find the score difficult to predict as Roma should have the edge in a 2-1 esque affair but I find that often in this league, just when you think you can predict a game, it bites right back at you!

yeh dijon your right, sometimes the weird and wondeful world of football does funny things...took Roma on the -0 as a 'safe' bet but looks like doubtful...Totti to get the equaliser to salvage a draw would be perfect

Why did I back Totti? Why didn't I back the score that I thought it would likely be? Ah well, maybe that was the unpredictable side and maybe I should have more faith in my own picks. Well done m50c and aircooled on your picks!

just taken the overs in te atalanta game at 2.2 with betfair
atalanta at home have been fairly consustant and avergae two goals a home game, empoli on the other hand are a little troubled at the minute but can see them netting here, thinking 2-1 3-1 cs atalanta
think this is a good bet to be on in a tough matchday in this weekends serie a
