err 1.70, not .71.
Somehow managed to misread.
Doesn't actually matter though, same thing.

Decided to go for HW in Juventus, surely the hometeam is overpriced vs pathetic travellers Catania. Guests will simply defend like mad, don't think it will help vs a team which had a hard lesson to learn following the match-fixing, and which has far more quality.
A home win, Over and Goal/Goal in Udine, as I rate Cagliari very high among the relegation-threatened teams, scored in all last 5 away games. Udine imo do have Euro ambitions, and more quality upfront.
An Over in Roma simply because I don't like the odds for HW. Surely Roma has the quality to score 3+, Atalanta also can score, relaxed and safe in midtable..
Good luck

Does anyone smell a rat the fact Juventus are so overpriced or am I reading to much into a league with previous ?? Waiting on them for a treble but their price seems to good to be true. Any opinions ??

win or lose it doesn't change much for Juventus, heck the traditonal fan doesn't even come to their stadium so it won't be a "thank you for staying with us, here's a final home win" appearance. On the other-hand, Catania are looking like the crash-dive I predicted weeks ago. They missed their striker Spinesi last week and he is a major doubt again.
Okay the honest truth is, Catania entered that relegation zone and their next opponents Roma on match-day 38 doesn't get any better especially if Rome win today and Inter doesn't.
This match could go any-which-way so I perfer to stay away.
On to other considerations,
Only one or perhaps two matches of little meaning,
Genoa vs. Lazio and Palermo vs. Sampdoria
Lazio played mid-week in the Coppa match against Inter. They have 3 things going against them, fatgue, a poor away record and relative safety sitting 13th on 40 points.
Genoa FT win

Sampdoria still have something to play for but need help from both Fiorentina and Udinese which will not arrive. Also, they don't draw much on the road (only twice all season). Last week they were caught out by three late second half goals by Roma after controlling much of the earlier play with Cassano as a constant thread.
like the odds on the home side over the visitors
Palermo FT win

Finally, Reggina one of my earlier relegation candidates, have momentum going their way and are playing with true belief. The southerners won their first away match of the season last week against Catania.
People forget (including me 3 weeks ago) this was a club starting last season in Serie A 2006-07 with a large points deduction (eleven) and yet managed to avoid relegation. Today they play Empoli who are second from bottom, a team not having similar good luck.
I Like the home advantage and current form of Reggina over the struggling visitors, the past head-to-head is pretty much even so current form means alot and Reggina has lots, not losing at home in their last six games, starting on Feb23th with a win over Juventus.
Reggina FT win

Right , i have done this for the english premier league today and will give serie A a shot aswell The objective is to predict the result for every game on the card (win , lose , draw ) . However the one game that will be left out is the Livorno vs Torino match as this is not on William Hill site Anyway i will be stakin a £1 and seeing how many i can get correct the selections are :

Fiorentina
Inter
Genoa
Juventus
Ac Milan
Palermo (draw)
Reggina (draw)
Roma
Udinese

£1 with william hill returns £167.47 just for some sunday fun

nicko i agrre with overs in the roma game, both teams score freely on their day and vucinic is loooking potent of late
expect atalanta to hit the net n think the game willl end 2-1 or 3-1 so may have a little cs dabble aswell. maybe vucinic ATS could be a possible bet

Roma -1 (EH)
Roma are in a must win game here as they need to get the three points to ensure they continue to put pressure on Inter in case they bottle it. They have scored 3 goals in 4 of their last 5 games and meet an Atlanta side with little to play for as they are safe in mid table position

Udinese over 2.5
Udinese have gone over in 4 of their last 6 games including their last 3 at home while Cagliari have gone over in 4 of their last 5 games as well as their last 3 away games. Both teams have shown that they can score goals but they also tend to concede.

Milan -1.5
Milan need to continue on their winning way to maintain their 4th spot and champion league next year. They have been in great recent form and boast the second best away record in the league. Inzaghi has been in great form too, scoring nine goal in the last five games
Napoli lie in mid-table security with nothing much to play for and are already looking ahead at next season

Livorno over 2.5
Livorno are in 20th spot while Torino are 15th. Livorno need a win to keep a slim chance of staying up while Torino will stay up with a win here. Livorno have gone over in 3 of their last 4 games including their last 2 at home while Torino have gone over in their last 4 away games.
