you've just thrown me archaeus!

I'm finding it hard enough to deal with all this blatant corruption as it is without having to worry about double bluffs !

Last week Reggina-Siena ->

(Copied from another betting forum)

"All here in Italy talk about draw in this match. I think that "italian jobs" season is started. And another Italian job could be Udinese-Parma 1. Almost all Reggina and Siena players, and both trainers too, have the same agent, this is a society named GEA World. GEA target is to maintain in Serie A the most large number of its players to increase profits so a draw in this match is more than possible. Every season, specially when championship is ending, GEA teams make presents each other. Bookies know this so the odd on draw is so low. These things make the bettor's happines but are a shame for italian football so I'm sad."

Yes, I agree with you Tulenos and I don´t bet those "fixed" games at all because I don´t like those Still, you have to be careful when think of betting those Serie A games with low odds on the draw.

Serie A last season, odds for the draw were very low on these games ->

Cagliari-Reggina Avg. odds for draw 2,14 FT 1-1
Messina-Sampdoria Avg. odds for draw 2,24 FT 2-2
Cagliari-Palermo Avg. odds for draw 1,67 FT 0-0
Livorno-Siena Avg. odds for draw 1,84 FT 3-6
Reggina-Bologna Avg. odds for draw 1,59 FT 1-1
Messina-Cagliari Avg. odds for draw 2,14 FT 2-1
Palermo-Reggina Avg. odds for draw 1,70 FT 1-1
Roma-Lazio Avg. odds for draw 1,88 FT 0-0
Lazio-Fiorentina Avg. odds for draw 1,96 FT 1-1
Livorno-Juventus Avg. odds for draw 1,92 FT 2-2
Parma-Siena Avg. odds for draw 2,24 FT 0-0
Reggina-Lecce Avg. odds for draw 1,42 FT 2-2
Messina-Livorno Avg. odds for draw 2,00 FT 1-1
Palermo-Lazio Avg. odds for draw 1,46 FT 3-3
Roma-Chievo Avg. odds for draw 1,84 FT 0-0

15 games, 1 home win, 1 away win, 13 draws

Chievo are the kind of team who always make chances and can score goals, so id take the over 2.5 goals v Milan.Milan should win but i can see this being a 3-1 or 4-1 score.

Serie A Week 33 - 8/4/06 (19.30 UK)
Ascoli - Inter
Stadio Del Duca

After dropping out of the Champions League on Tuesday, Inter will see this trip to the Stadio Del Duca as a chance to return to winning ways – but will have to negotiate an Ascoli side full of confidence and on the brink of pulling off an unlikely escape from relegation.

Few expected minnows Ascoli to survive this season but an excellent run of form has seen the Piceni lose only once in 10 games putting them in a comfortable mid-table position. Young Coach Marco Giampaolo won many plaudits with his brand of football, but now must sit out the rest of the season as he lacks the necessary coaching certificate. Although the Bianconeri will again be underdogs here they have made it their business to upset the odds and may just fancy themselves to take a point.

Roberto Mancini's days at Inter may be numbered. Defeat to Villarreal in the week was a result he could ill-afford and the Nerazzurri's form in the run-in may prove academic. However, the Biscioni's focus now will be on trying to overhaul their city rivals Milan who lead them by two points in the table. With rumours of a dressing room row after Tuesday's Champions League elimination, Mancini will need to show exemplary professionalism to stop his demoralised side capitulating over the next few weeks.

Striker Igor Budan looks likely to start for the home side despite an intestinal problem. Andrea Parola and Alfredo Cariello are also tipped to shrug off injuries. The only absentees are Riccardo Bonetto and Carlo Zotti.

Mancini will have to make do without Giusppe Favalli, but Adriano and Luis Figo should return after missing last week’s game.

Ascoli: Coppola; Commotto, Domizzi, Paci, Del Grosso; Foggia, Guana, Parola, Fini; Quagliarella, Budan
Inter: Toldo; J. Zanetti, Mihajlovic, Materazzi, Burdisso; Stankovic, Pizarro, Cambiasso, Figo; Cruz, Adriano

Serie A Week 33 - 9/4/06 (14.00 UK)
Cagliari - Palermo
Stadio Sant'Elia

If Cagliari are to avoid slipping back into the relegation zone they must start picking up points, but may struggle when a rejuvenated Palermo side chasing a UEFA Cup spot visit the Stadio Sant'Elia.

Cagliari's recent form has been impressive with the exception of Week 31's slip-up against Reggina. Wins over Livorno and Treviso and a fighting draw with Sampdoria last weekend have allowed Nedo Sonetti's men to move away from the foot of the table into a position that looked unattainable earlier in the campaign. However, the Isolani are still only four points ahead of Messina and could be dragged back into trouble if they don't perform.

Palermo look like a different side under Giuseppe Papadopulo. Since his appointment in January after the sacking of the hapless Luigi Del Neri, he has breathed new life into the Rosanero and turned a season of stagnation into a quest for a UEFA Cup place. The Sicilians are now four games unbeaten and were unfortunate to only collect a point last weekend against Ascoli. A win here would allow Papadopulo's side to apply the pressure to Lazio who they trail by two points and Chievo who must face Milan.

Sonetti has a slightly depleted squad. While Diego Lopez and Fabio Vignati are injured, Antonio Langella and Nelson Abeijon are suspended.

Palermo's injury problems are worse. Mario Santana, Fabio Grosso, Pietro Accardi, Giovanni Tedesco and Stephen Makinwa are all sidelined. Paul Codrea is suspended.

Cagliari: Chimenti; Ferri, Bega, Bizera, Pisano; Cossu, Budel, Conti, Gobbi; Esposito, Suazo
Palermo: Agliardi; Zaccardo, Barzagli, Biava, Conteh; Mutarelli, Corini, Barone, Brienza; Di Michele, Caracciolo

Default Re: Italy - All leagues (7-10 April 06)

Serie A Week 33 - 9/4/06 (14.00 UK)
Empoli - Sampdoria
Stadio Castellani

Empoli's Serie A future is still very much in the balance and they will look to take advantage of a struggling Sampdoria side to take valuable points in this Stadio Castellani clash.

Empoli have hit form at a vital time. After three straight wins culminating in a derby success over Livorno, the Azzurri managed to take a point from Lazio last weekend albeit in fortuitous fashion and remain five points away from the drop. However, Gigi Cagni knows that his side could easily be sucked back into the drop zone and will need to make his side meaner at the back - Empoli have Serie A's leakiest defence with 55 goals conceded.

Walter Novellino's Sampdoria have had a miserable season. Early UEFA Cup elimination and a season spent in lower mid-table have left the Marassi faithful far from content. Last weekend's draw with lowly Cagliari may have ended a run of six consecutive defeats but it did little to appease fans who expected to secure a UEFA Cup spot for next season. That is now an unrealistic goal - Novellino's men will instead look to silence the boo-boys with a strong finish to a poor campaign.

Nicola Pozzi's knee injury is the only headache for Gigi Cagni who has an otherwise full squad.

In addition to long-term absentees Emiliano Bonazzoli and Fabio Bazzani, Marco Zamboni and striker Corrado Colombo are set to miss out.

Empoli: Balli; Lucchini, Coda, Pratali, Tosto; Almiron, Moro, Busce', Vannucchi, Tavano; Rigano'
Sampdoria: Antonioli; Zenoni, Falcone, Sala, Castellini; Diana, Volpi, Palombo, Tonetto; Flachi, Kutuzov
