Cork v Derry is almost too close to call - both sides will be fielding a near full strength side and it will come down to who wants it more on the day. Derry have the better recent form but Leesiders home crowd may make a big difference. A no bet for me.

Waterford v Drogheda
I fancy the Blues to continue their recent good form and finish the season with a win in front of their home fans. Drogs have been in good form as well (as Coltron will attest) but I think their attention will be on the Cup final and the desire not to pick up an injury or booking will interfere with their normal game. Unless Bohs manage an impossible victory over Shels (10-0 !) Drogs are guaranteed a 4th place finish.

Bohs v Shels.
Shels are THE form team in the League at the moment whereas Bohs have been inconsistent only managing to win half of their home matches. Shels are secure in third place and there are no new injury worries comng into this game. Bohs are likely to be without Des Byrne and Stephen Ward but welcome back Aidan Collins from suspension. A close game but Shels should prevail.

U.C.D. V SHAMROCK ROVERS
I would have to go for U.C.D in this game.Shamrock Rovers have placed manager Roddy Collins on"short leave of absence"and assistant manager Terry Eviston has resigned.Rovers know they will be in a play-off no matter what the result of this game so with a small squad will be trying to avoid injuries.U.C.D. are a very useful side at home and will be to much for rovers.

Surely the UCD bet might be worth a few bob Anyway, it doesn't look any side has anything to play for, but pride (esp. Shels who are out of Europe for the next season if I'm not missing anything here)

What about the 1st league - one last shout for Kilkenny?

Shels are guaranteed Europe unless Cork do the double.

Gonna have a little punt on the draw in the Cork - Derry game tonight. That's all Derry need and I think they have the quality to get that result down there.

Rovers are in a real state, UCD have a good chance to capitalise here. I also agree that the Drogs can be side stepped this week as the manager may rest players for the final. Elsewhere Harps are also muck so Bray worth a small punt tomorrow.

A good year overall I'd say, until next season - good luck .

Well I finish the season on a high - wins for both Waterford and Shels

Congrats to Cork - pulled out a good performance at the end to win the title.
