Greuther Furth (level ball @1.85-1.90) to beat Burhausen has to be a bet.

Burghausen lost 3 on the trot, and that's really bad prelude for the visit of Greuther Furth, who are probably the last team they would like to play at the moment.

Furth are unbeaten in 4 games, and in those 4 they faced few really tough opponents (Aachen and Cottbus). They are not free scoring side lately, but with their great defense they really have good chances to repeat one of results from earlier visits to Burghausen (they won in last 3 trips there). Furth struggled to break Burghausen at home in last few years, but this year they thrashed them 6-2, and according to Burghausen's recent results, they are clear favorites to take all 3 points.

Level ball in this match is a gift in my opinion, and I'll be on Furth (0) in this one.

EventAachen X Dynamo Dresden
SelectionHome Win
Strength10/10
Date17/03/2006
Bookmaker/PriceInterwetten @ 1.60 (Back)
ReasoningHome team Aachen is 2nd in Bundesliga 2, and has a home record of 9-1-2. They are unbeaten in 5. A win here should see them share the 1st place with Bochum, and take a giant step towards promotion.

Dresden are 14th on the standings, and have an away record of 2-2-7, which is 2nd worst in Bundesliga 2. They've won their last game away at Paderborn though.

Dresden will be travelling without many regulars, while the hosts are full lined-up, and should be able to produce an easy win here.

The 1st leg at Dresden ended in Aachen's favour (3-1) and I expect it to be the same here.

Good Luck

Siegen v Offenbach
The struggling host performed very well in last 2 games though they lost both against Rostock and Dresden. Siegen is last with 6 points behind place 15 and 1 game less. Coach Bongartz has done great work and Siegen finally may profit from. Offenbach on the other side is in good form as well. Especiall at home vs Braunschweig they convinced. If they continue like that, they will stay in league. A sneak win at Bochum and a 1-1 against Paderborn underline it. But Offenbach is before a big task I guess - I expect Siegen to explode right away. With these circumstances, the over is very likely, besides the Siegen win.

Over 2.5 7/10
Siegen 6/10

Burghausen v Furth
Burghausen has been not so succesful recently, especially at home. Sometimes they can surprise, but they simply feel better away. Furth would have deserved to beat Aachen, but only in parts of the game the sides were able to become dangerous. Furth is of course the clearly better team and thus the away win likely.

Furth 6/10

Aachen v Dresden
Actually Aachen is pretty strong at the moment, just in Furth they disappointed a little. 2 wins before had put them in a comfortable position at the top. Dresden on the other side made to beat Siegen, though it was a bit lucky. Dresden is no longer a loosing crap side but still Aachen is much above them. However, the over seems likely as well and better paid in first line. Dresden might score in this 1 but should loose at the end.

Aachen 6/10
Over 2.5 5/10

Good luck all today!

Burghausen v Furth

I agree with both opinions above. Burghausen lost their latest three matches and basically feel more comfortable away from home than in their Wacker Arena as they like to play on the counter attack. Greuther Fürth were held to a draw by Aachen three days ago but have a good chance to move up to third place as they trail Freiburg and Cottbus by just a point. Away from the Playmobilstadium they had some good results recently as the Francs beat Dresden, Rostock and Cottbus while a point at Munich and Bochum is not too bad as well. Keeper Mavric failed to recover from his injury out of the Aachen match and will be replaced by Neuhaus.
Fürth are perfect in three games at the Wacker stadium and should have some good chances to stay that way but at least avoid defeat.

7/10 Fürth AH0

Paderborn v 1860 Munchen
I was patient with 1860 but they can not make it obviously at the moment. They already missed better, easier opportunities than this one. 1860 haven't won for 11 games now!! Their bad form makes them to the underdog here. Besides Lanzaat and Hoffman are out, looks not good for 1860. Paderborn has the skills they need, for some reason they are high above 1860 in the table. Munchen may have slightly more skilled players, but stronger these day is definately Paderborn. They have rarely disappointed and are deserved ambitious on the top. A homogen side like Paderborn should show the difference to the lions these days.

Paderborn 2.4 betfair 6/10

Saarbrucken v Freiburg
In last home game Saarbrucken beat Unterhaching 5-3. Bencic, Amri and Hadji are mainly responsible for decent and succesful performances. Though Saarbrucken got frightened after the 3rd goal, they were unsecure to that point of win, only 1 home win before does explain this. 3 points is the difference to 1st non relegation places - they are close before it, nearly nobody would have expected last Novembre. This of course and the gone home curse speak for Saarbrucken in this game. Karlsruhe beat them 2-1 in the delayed game midweeks. The early lead by Karlsruhe was hard for Saarbrucken, in 2nd half they found back into game but no essential changes could be achieved. Freiburg's high fly was just stopped by the defeat at U'haching. They tried a lot but the host's defence was stronger than recently and Freiburg was not forcing enough. But Freiburg are always capable to score, they already will do in this one I guess. So best pick for me is the over. First game between them 2 ended 1-3. Hard to imagine the outcome - actually in form Saarbrucken and also Freiburg these days could make the win. Freiburg is being in promotion fight, still I would not be surprised seeing them loosing here. But it might be a tight affair and the over should be prefered.

Over 2.5 2.10 betdaq 7/10
Saarbrucken 3.15 betfair 3/10
DNB Saarbrucken 2.2 sportingodds 5/10

Unterhaching v Cottbus
Home strong U'haching is 7 games without defeat at home. Cottbus as welll in 7 away games! Cottbus is the 2nd strongest away team of BL II. As close as the data could become the match between the 2 sides. Haching convinced Freiburg beating in last match in Munchen. The team is only 4 points behind a promotion place, that might give them a further push. Even more ambitous is Cottbus, so this is actually a real top game. Cottbus have played strong games, but sometimes they are too volatile within a game. That might be the slight advantage for U'haching besides that it's a home game. So I tend to back U'haching a little, the over is likely as well and good paid.

Unterhaching 2.4
sportingodds 4/10
Over 2.5 2.23
betdaq 5/10

Karlsruhe v Ahlen
Interesting match in Karlsruhe where the host will try to submit their ambitions at the top. Karlsruhe won 4 of last 5 home games, they only had 1 draw against Freiburg. Karlsruhe often performned very well, they play with big passion usually. In last game they dominated Saarbrucken in 1st half, but in 2nd half the guests were the better side. Ahlen can also be expected to perform with self-confidence after recent succes. Ahlen totally convinced when they won at Burghausen and in last home game against a strong Aue. So Ahlen is in excellent shape and with 4 points behind place 15 and 1 game less they have been back in game. Ahlen lost only 1 of their last 4 games. Kaluzny is suspended but no missings besides. Actually this game should have some goals at the end - both teams tend to attack and to have big scores. 7 of last 10 games of Karlsruhe ended over, 6 from Ahlen. Well odds suggest to lay Karlsruhe, but they are too strong to get laid from me. The over but looks very good here.

Over 2.5 1.94 betdaq 6/10

Bochum v Braunschweig
Bochum is strong of course and found back to the points with the 1-0 at Munchen. But the price here is not so attractive, regarding the sometimes volatile play of Bochum. They are leading with a big gap, what could be motivation problems. Besides Braunschweig is a hard fighting side that are capable of good performance as well. So it will not be an easy 1 for the hosts, I keep away from this.

well the overs are more or less on their ways at begin of 2nd half.

Ahlen has to come now after Karlsruhe's lead short before HT.

Saarbrucken v Freiburg is an exciting match, there more goals are likely.

0-2 for Cottbus and Karlsruhe 2-0 now!

Haching 0 Cottbus 2
KSC 2 Ahlen 0
Saarbrucken 1 Freiburg 0
Paderborn 0 1860 1
Bochum 2 Braunschweig 0
