Greuther Fürth @ 1.83 skybet 6/10
A poor start into season for the Franconiands with the cup out and the 2-3 in Ingolstadt. In first season game, Fürth first controlled the game and took the lead but then neglected defence what lead to two goals for Ingolstadt right before half time. Greuther Fürth indeed put focus on offence rather but they did the mistake only to rely on their undoubtedly ambitous play. You can get problems without the fight in this league but generally, Greuther Fürth are no lazy team or sth. I expect them stronger than last season where they prooved to have a solid defence and not much has changed in terms of squad compared to that time. Takyi impressed in his first game for them and is meant to become an important factor of creativity. I'm pretty sure we'll see a very focused team tomorrow and despite the poor start, they should end season under the top five. St Pauli on the other side come on the back of a 2-2 to Osnabrück which they should have decided earlier, before the suspension of Gouiffe à Goufan who's out for this one as a result. First two season games costed Pauli a lot of power as in both they were a man less for quite a while. To sneak sth from Fürth, the guests have to put into huge physical efforts. Pauli prooved to be capable of good away games but I can't imagine them to avoid the defeat really against a Fürth side which finally has to show the excellent appearences during preparations. I lean towards the over but my confidence is not high enough to play it at given odds.

FSV Frankfurt (-0.25) AH @ 2.0 betdaq 3/10
Promoter FSV Frankfurt suffered a 1-2 defeat in Ahlen in first game. They were a little naive after their egaliser and kept up storming to win the game even. Ahlen know to play counter attacks and the team with the actual more mature play didn't even come to a point at the end. I still trust the FSV as they needn't hide in this league even, not only because of their very strong season in 3rd league and two consecuitve promotions. In a way it speaks for them to want more than a draw and that should be visible in this game against Koblenz as well. Koblenz compensated the three point suspension yet with the good 3-0 over Oberhausen. Defence is quite rocky but despite the three goals (which Oberhausen partly defended poorly), offence is still heavily weakened by numerous missings. The additions Taylor and Begeorgi gave good debuts up in the front though. Koblenz might appear cooler but I expect the FSV to have more drive, they use to be a hungry team with good players.

Osnabrück and Freiburg both could be satisfied with season beginning. Osnbrück sneaked a point from Pauli where they fought back and were close to even win it at the end. So they reminded of the good games before season and not of the bloodless performance in the cup where they clearly defeated to FSV Frankfurt. At home, Osnabrück always are engaged anyway so that opponents normally need a good performance to beat them there. Freiburg are in great physical shape what is one condition to hold against the fighters. As a whole, Freiburg look more mature now so that they maybe can convert some of the draws on the road into wins which is necessary to be succesful in promotion fight. The 2-1 over 1860 was a good beginning where Freiburg became much stronger in second half. Coach Dutt for the first time anounced to wanna achieve promotion, so it doesn't surprise that they go for the win here. With the at home straight forward playing Osnabrück on the other side, this should give a lively game.

Over 2.5 @ 1.95 bet365 5/10
Freiburg (0) AH @ 1.85 betdaq 3/10

Osnabruck - Freiburg
see the Freiburg/Osnabruck game with an under 2.5. The goal average in 22 meetings is only 2.63 goals per match. They aren´t goalgetting teams. Freiburg away is the better one for me. Maybe a 2-0 win by Freiburg.

Osnabruck lost the first game in the german cup 2-0 versus climber FSV Frankfurt and was down 0-2 also in the 2nd league opening versus St.Pauli. They came back and safed a point (2-2). Freiburg looks better these days. Won their away leg in the german cup versus Unterhaching 2-0 and the opening versus their direct opponent 1860 Munich 2-1 at home. Coach Dutt worked on the away weakness of the last season (away table 9th place). Freiburg´s season target is to jump to the first league, Osnabruck wouldn´t fight until the last round to remain in the 2nd league.

under 2.5
Freiburg to win

I am probably too optimistic, this league starts very, very open. It looks like most teams have been busier working on the attacking formations, plenty of cards and turnovers. Home win for me with Furth, 2 Overs in the other 2 games, added in Over in Argentina tonight because Ciclon's preview was good, 15 bets, small stakes.
Good luck

Agree nicko,

It has been the same the past couple of years, lots of goals in the early rounds of most german leagues then it suddenly dries up.

Wehen-Duisburg Over 2.5 @ 1.95 bet365 4/10

Odds favour Duisburg a little too much for my taste but since those have one of the best attacks, I don't wnat to go against them at this point of time. Wehen shouldn't be without a chance though as they like to face playing sides instead to break massive defence. Wehen were okay in Aachen, you first have to cause trouble to the team from the Tivoli. Wehen always were good for lively games and the loss of Nicu got compensated by Orahovac who prooved his quality right away. Wehen will be eager to come to points as Nürnberg and Freiburg are the coming opponents and bottom threatens them. Duisburg convinced on Monday and should have won over Rostock. The midfield and the attack definately belongs to the league's strongest ones being capable of producing enough chances. I can't imagine a passive Duisburg, they have to exploit their offence strength this season even though this may suit Wehen at some point.

Augsburg @ 1.95 bet365 5/10

Missing situation has relaxed on the home side, important ones still are cpatain Müller and Benschneider. On the other hand have Hdioudad and da Costa returned (Thurk is expected in midfield) so that a gain of creativity is possible. Augsburg had to play in Nürnberg under much more difficult conditions and therefor did a very good job. The FCA had impressed in pre-season already, so Augsburg may have a good start into season in the next few weeks. The attack is an alright one with Torghelle from Jena and Szabics, Werner as addition for midfield also made sens. Promoter Ahlen are well-known for the good counter play from which they might profit on the road especially. But they even beat the FSV Frankfurt in first home game. In terms of quality, the guests can't be on eye line to Augsburg actually but maybe they can surprise sometimes with the automatism in their compact play. Home odds look like good value.

Oberhausen-Ingolstadt Over 2.5 @ 1.97 betdaq 4/10

The duel of two promoters who use not to hide in their games. Maybe the Oberhausen odds should be a little lower but of course bookies considered the 3-2 of Ingolstadt over Fürth. Oberhausen have played a very consistent season in 3rd league and prooved what their attack is capable of also in the cup game against Leverkusen. Oberhausen suffered a clear 3-0 defeat in Koblenz but also came to chances enough that were all missed though. Despite the bad start, Oberhausen shouldn't be treated as sure relegater yet. Ingolstadt also often play with open visar which was too much even actually but Fürth couldn't profit enough from that and gave the game away in a way. Even if Ingolstadt play this in more defensive manner (what I simply don't know really), they will get enough space through storming Oberhausen.

Rostock-Aachen is an interesting one where value seems to be on the guests. Roctock have to become more stable to win this but their offence is a good one of course. We have to see how Aachen perform on the road this season. The over looks makable but odds are quite short.

1860-Mainz also should be an over game rather but Mainz hasn't found to much creativity yet and I rather expect 1860 to score. Maybe the home win is no bad bet but I first want to get some more impressions of these two.

Good luck

Your welcome Overs, you seem to fancy the goal picks especially. yeah there was 60 minutes time for the teams to score the third - Duisburg came to a woodwork hit and Wehen too stupid in front of the goal.
