Frankfurt -0.75 AH @ 2.03 Canbet 4/10

Frankfurt haven’t actually won at home for over 3 months but their record here is generally very good. They come into this match having suffered just 1 loss in their last 8 matches and it must be said they put in as very impressive performance last week. They completely dominated and deserved their success in Berlin, the new Czech signing was a revelation scoring 3 goals. I was really impressed with Frankfurt and I cant see them failing to win tonight. Bielefeld looked awful to me last week and hardly created many chances against Wolfsburg. They only lost 0-1 but it should’ve been by much more, they looked a team completely disjointed at times. I honestly feel that they have a big chance of being relegated and there’s no doubt that Frankfurt are currently the better team by a long way. Last season, Arminia amazingly won this fixture 3-0, but if that happened again I would be absolutely astonished. Odds of 2.03 on the -0.75 AH line are probably fair, but I’m pretty sure they can cover this line. Bielefeld have been hammered a few times this year, so if they concede 1 goal, it could led to many more being scored.

Nice work Meaty. Totally agree with Frankfurt, as you say that was excellent football last weekend and also surprsingly good games in Decembre of a reduced Eintracht team. Streit has gone but record signing Caio and Fenin are great additions. The current bench of Frankfurt has names like Inamoto, not fit Caio and Mahdavikia. Can only second how poor Bielefeld were against Wolfsburg, new Coach Fronteck was massively criticized for playing with 1 forward only, understandable in a way having conceded 40 goals nearly. He may change formation now but current Bielefled is not looking like a team currently and hardly were threateing this season. Taking Frankfurt with 6 pts.

Could be too early, since Club (FC Nurnberg) plays on Saturday; but the odds are dropping already. I did not have chance to watch them or Hansa last week, so I don't know their current form...they both lost, but I want to know if there is any sign of improvement at Club? They have a line-up for UEFA Cup places, at least for upper part of the table, but they are stuck in the bottom. Recent signing of Koller is a huge boost, if he's any good like he was during the BVB time. Coach is rather decent as well, so I don't know what is the problem, why are they underperforming?

Is it worth already backing them against poor Hansa, or they are still equally poor as visitors? How did they played against KSC (despite the loss, maybe the play was not that bad?)? Thanks for info...

just some info I get sent from Pinnaclesports, hope its useful for you.

Quote:
Leverkusen & Hamburg Battle for Third Place
Bayer Leverkusen and Hamburg are currently locked together on 33 points occupying third and fourth position respectively in the German Bundesliga. That could all change on Saturday as they meet in a crucial league fixture. Leverkusen leap-frogged HSV last weekend with a 3-2 away win over Cottbus, featuring two goals from German international, Simon Rolfes, which gave his side their sixth win in seven league games. Bayer coach, Michael Skibbe, began the game with a very attacking line-up featuring four men up front. Skibbe will probably be a little more cautious for this fixture.
Hamburg allowed 04 to overtake in the table after drawing 1-1 at home to Hannover in the North German Derby on Saturday, but at least preserved their unbeaten home record. Huub Stevens now takes his side on the road to the BayArena protecting the division’s second best away defensive record, bettered only by leaders Bayern Munich. Hamburg have conceded just eight goals on the road, while Leverkusen have allowed just four at home, suggesting a very tight game. SV have faced Karlsruhe (6th), Werder Bremen (2nd) and Schalke (5th) in their last three away games, taking just two points, which suggests they may not be capable of beating the top sides away from home. They have, however, won on their last two visits to the BayArena.

Table Top Clash at Allianz Arena Critical to Title Race
Bundesliga leaders, Bayern Munich, host second place, Werder Bremen, on Sunday in what will be a critical game in this season’s title race. Bayern were runaway leaders of the division in the early part of the campaign, but lost their momentum toward the end of November just as Bremen were finding their feet. The sides entered the Winter Break locked on 36 points, with Munich holding top spot courtesy of their goal difference. Last weekend Ottmar Hitzfeld’s side came out of the traps much the better, winning 2-1 away at Hansa Rostock, while Bremen lost only their second home game of the season, to struggling Bochum (despite dominating the game), ending an eight game home winning run.
Ottmar Hitzfeld’s side have conceded just twice at the Allianz Arena, but have been held three times, including two goalless draws against sides in the bottom of the table. Defender, Lucio, and French international, Franck Ribery, are both major doubts, while Bremen will be without central defender, Naldo, sent off against Bochum. This fixture ended 1-1 last season, but the sides have already met twice in this campaign with Bayern Munich winning 4-1 in the pre-season League Cup, then 4-0 Weserstadion on matchday two.

A crucial match for Nürnberg in first line and I'm confient they nick it. They were okay at Karlsruhe and seem to have reached a solid strenth. Rostock with a good second half against Bayern but besides without much spirit in last couple of games, especially away. So Nürberg really look like a decent bet for tomorrow.

I agree with You, guys on Nurnberg (1.72). Let me add that according to Hansa's official website, team from Rostock has a serious injury crisis before Saturday's game.http://www.fc-hansa.de/index.php?id=154&oid=5439

I also read that Duisburg has only 1 fit defender available for the clash in Wolsburg so I will also consider a stake on the hosts (1.65) there, maybe evern asian handicap -1 (2.05).

Default Re: Germany - Bundesliga I (Feb 8-10)

for me are two interessting meetings this round.

Wolfsburg - Duisburg
Wolfsburg started well in the new year. With a cup win over Schalke 04 (5-3 a.p.) and a win in the first round after the winter break versus Bielefeld (0-1). Magath construct the team better and better and he transfered a really good goalkeeper with the swiss guy Benaglio. Duisburg with bad luck get only one point at home versus Dortmund (3-3) but coach Rudi Bommer miss a lot players infront of this match.

-- Wolfsburg to win

VfB Stuttgart - Hertha Berlin
Berlin lost versus Frankfurt like in the first leg but this time at home (0-3). It shown that Favre has a lot of work with this squad and it need more time to bring in the team. It´s too early for a win over Stuttgart. Stuttgart started not good in this season but become better and better now.
They lost also in round 18 versus Schalke 04 but they´re the 4th best at home and Hertha won only one out of 8 away rounds. They´re the second worse away team so far.

--Stuttgart to win

good luck

thumbsup English is not my best!!!

Hi, i am from Germany and i have a nice pick.

Bayern München - Werder Bremen Pick: OVER

The first leg won Munich with 4:0.
Munich has been since 28th April 2007 (1:2 at home against HSV)unbeaten, but only one of the last three home matches won.

Werder collected 8 goals into the last 3 matches (2 defeats).

Franck Ribéry will be absent.

Speaking for the over:
1.The best goal-getters of the league Luca Toni (10 goals) and Miroslav Klose(9 goals) will play and are very unerring.

2. Gates replete if Bremen plays

3. Bremen often goes in leadership(goals against)

This is my first pick, i hoppe i will come!
Good luck!

1. FC Nürnberg - Hansa Rostock Pick 1

VfB Stuttgart - Hertha BSC 1

This two picks are not from me, but from a "highroller".
He bets each with 500€. He is really good, so i play it to and we will win with this the pick.

Nurnburg -0.75 AH @ 2.0 Betway 4/10

Well this match has been described as a ‘must’ win for Nurnburg, even at this stage of the season. And to be honest I think they should come out on top against an awful Rostock side away from home that is missing players. Nurnburg haven’t played as well as they can this season but they have a lot more potential in their squad. The current position they are in is a bit false and they have played better than results suggest. Last week they had their chances before losing in Karlsruhe, the performance wasn’t actually too bad. Rostock have the worst away record in the whole league and have lost 7/8 times so far. Really if Nurnburg cant win this game then there are some major problems for them, and its essential that they get the 3 points. I’ll back them to claim a comfortable success and take them on the -0.75 AH line.

Leverkusen -0.25 AH @ 2.05 Bet365 3/10

The hosts have won 6 of their last 7 games and are playing some really good football. At the moment I’d say they are even out shots for the title if they can keep up their consistency. At home they have lost only once so far’ and their record in front of their own fans is one of the best in the league. It certainly wont be easy against another rival at the top of the table, Hamburg, but I’d definitely give preference to the hosts. HSV haven’t actually looked that good recently and failed to win any of their last 4 matches. I wasn’t really that impressed with them last weekend in the 1-1 draw with Hannover. It seems to me as if they rely an awful lot on Rafael Van Der Vaartn and if he doesn’t have a good day then they struggle. There’s a risk of a draw, and even an away win if HSV do play to their best, but I’d say 2.05 on Leverkusen -0.25 AH looks a good bet.

Stuttgart -0.75 AH @ 1.92 Betinternet 5/10

I really like the look of this bet and I feel that the main AH line on Stuttgart should be -1 instead. This looks like a clear example of a good home team up against an awful away one, and if current trends continue, then VFB should prevail. Its not been a good year for the defending champions but most of their problems have come on the road (7 defeats). At the Dailmer though they have won on 6/9 occasions and played some much better football. Berlin come here looking a real mess and they were comprehensively outplayed at home to Frankfurt last week. This is a team that can never play away from home anyway and has the worst record in the whole Bundesliga on their travels. Stuttgart will also have to recover from a heavy defeat last weekend but I think they should be able to get the 3 points today - and I believe the margin could be by quite a few goals

Wolfsburg -1 AH @ 2.04 Pinnacle 4/10

I think this is a bit of a no brainer really and that Wolfsburg should easily win. We saw before the winter break that Felix Magath has got the team playing nicely, and last week they also started 2008 well with a convincing performance in Bielefeld. If they play like they did against Dortmund then they should put a few goals past the awful Duisberg today. They are one of the poorest teams I have seen in Germany over the last few seasons and the defence is truly horrific at times. I hear that they will miss even more players at the back for this match and will come here with an attacking gameplan. I’d say this match should contain quite a few goals in it, but ultimately Wolfsburg should easily outscore their opponents. I have no hesitation in taking them on this -1 AH line, and at the very worst should win by just 1 goal

Default Re: Germany - Bundesliga I (Feb 8-10)

Nürnberg (-0.75) AH @1.95 betdaq 6/10

Coach Meyer himself incresed pressure and treats the home games against Rostock and Cottbus as definate must wins considering his out in case of failure even. As said from Meaty, the performance at Karlsruhe was okay and It think we can expect a good home side facing a side that did't score even in last 4 away games. Rostock with a good performance against Bayern but usually with less power on the road and weakened by te missings of Orestes and Agali.

Hannover @1.96 4/10 & Over 2.5 @1.94 4/10 betdaq

Hannover played the best football last weekedn along Framkfur and nearly would have won at Hamburg. Their early good shape surprised me since H96 became weak before winter break. Anyway, in form, Hannover can threaten each side and seeing Huszti and Brugging in top shape, the good play shuld continue today. Ismael may play his first game, a plus for the anyway good defence. The guests of coure are not to underestimate though, they continued where they had stopped in he league. They'll be a hard nut but at the end is the host the team with more substance. It looks like a good game and I can well imagine a Over here.

Bochum @1.94 betfair 5/10

Bochum claimed a shocking victory at Bremen for what they need some luck but also a good performance. Bochum performed much better and obviously the break was at a welcome point of time. The addition of Azaouagh from Schalke gives them more substance in offense which is covered with Sestak (8 goals and assists) anyway. The more focus on offense can be seen in results, defence has much routine and uses to be solid thou. Cottbus did a good job against Leverkusen despite defeating but hardly played the same way on the road this season. They need a good performance to survive this I reckon ad again miss Rangelov. Papadopulos as new forward had a good first game thou.

Leverkusen (-0.25) AH
@2.04 3/10 & Over 2.5 @1.91 betdaq 4/10

Today's top game and I agree with meatman and his tip. Despite the problems of preparations, Leverkusen convinced at Cottbus widely. They do not only play ambitous football these days but also always put much passion into. So they should be slight favourite facig a always dangerous HSV. Hamburg disappointed against Hanover thou, on the other hand has the team a good attitude and can always respond with a better performance. Leverkusen have the quality to overcome the HSV defence as well, so I quite fancy the Over in this one.

Stuttgart (-0.75) AH @1.91 5/10

Stuttgart started alright at Schalke but couldn't keep pace with the host at the end. Stuttgart with a few problem in last few weeks but missing situation of defence especially has relaxed. Offence seldom is a worry so that the VfB should be able to beat the poor travellers Hertha. The guests had a few additions for offense (Raffael in attack), yet they didn't show what they can really last weekend. Hertha may improve in next few weeks, but it will probably take more time if it hapens at all.

Also, at the start of season Nurnberg expectations was to qualifiy for any eurocup! and now they must to battle for his Bundes life??? Home win is sure to come!

A few upsets again and the favoured leading teams just could't hold it once again, I'm afraid.
Leverkusen and Nürnberg seem to have had their chances but only drew at the end.
