Here are my fair odds estimations of this round's over/under 2.5 goals bets:

Nurnberg Borussia M'gladbach 1.85 2.18
Alemania Aachen Schalke 04 2.04 1.96
Borussia Dortmund Mainz 2.00 2.00
Cottbus Hamburg 1.83 2.20
Eintracht Frankfurt Wolfsburg 2.00 2.00
Hertha Berlin Hannover 96 2.01 1.99
Werder Bayer Leverkusen 1.37 3.70
Arminia Bielefeld VfB Stuttgart 2.71 1.59
VFL Bochum Bayern Munich 1.76 2.32

The point of posting these is to provide you with a point of reference for a further analysis of the total number of goals market. Knowing what odds the statistical analysis of past results suggests, you could modify the estimations given some additional data (injuries, weather, motivation, etc.) to come up with more accurate prices to compare with the bookmakers offer.

To see if what I am comming up here is worth your time vist the thread where the odds are verified.

Nürnberg v Mönchengladbach

Tough match where I see Nürnberg in advantage although Gladbach is not worse individually. Nürnberg started impressingly with the 3-0 at Stuttgart who were pretty poor though. The Club has prooved that he no longer belongs to the bottom clubs in 2006,with an excellent 2nd half of last season and good performances in pre-season. Vittek got injured now what is a blow, still Saenko and Schroth build a good attack anyway. The left place of Vittek will be filled up with 1 more midfielder who will be Polak it looks like. Polak was suspended last weekend, the Czech is quality. The franconians have an amazing home record, tomorrow there will be a full house and excellent support. Last time the Club beat Gladbach 5-2.
Mönchengladbach will play without leader Kluge who will be replaced by El Fakiri or Daems. Gladbach had a succesful start beating Cottbus 2-0. It was deserved at the end although Cottbus had the better chances in first half. During preparations Gladbach could hardly convince so that current shape is not obvious. Regarding the players - especially midfield with Kluge,Polanski and Insua - Gladbach have a pretty strong squad but to get use outta it has been the problem for a longer time now. Especially last 2 year's away records were awful. I have much respect for Insua but is he only 1 player and not at top level yet after the short time. The wings have been a problem for them what might bring them into trouble against Nürnberg. Neuville is in good form yet and will be the only real striker in starting XI. After all I believe that Nürnberg is on a better level yet, Gladbach may need some more games to reach the play they are capable of. No clear home win on the paper but facts speak for Nürnberg.

Nürnberg 2.06 betfair 4/10

Aachen v Schalke

Aachen had absolutely no chance at Leverkusen, they can be happy they didn't get more hammered. I read in the kicker sth funny - Aachen plan to play a bit dirtier what they didn't do in 1st game where striker Ebbers was the man with the most fouls, 1 precisely... Schalke will live unhealthy as the Tivoli will push them even more. In addition Aachen were last in the fairplay table of previous 2.Bundesliga season... Striker Schlaudraff returns into team, playing next to second offender Ebbers. Actually Aachen's XI don't look that poor, but with nearly the same they were very poor last weekend.
Schalke played well vs Frankfurt but they missed alot goals,Lincoln even a penalty. They were punished for that and cannot await to compensate it. Schalke really looks good, they are in a shape they have not been for a long time. So if Schalke will play like recently and not missing so many chances, they are likely to win it. Pressure is high, they cannot afford not winning again. So Schalke can be expected on fire, just like Aachen but with the better players. I think too much differs both. Strategist Ernst returns into XI just like Rafinha. Krstajic is doubtful, still Schalke can play with nearly all of the best players. Keeper Rost is injured but the second one has good reputation.

Schalke 1.90 betfred 6/10

Cottbus v Hamburg

Cottbus surprised at Gladbach, defence was good and the counter attacks dangerous,at least in 1st half. But like so often in last season scoring was the problem. With Aidoo now an imporant one is suspended, just like striker Kioyo. On the other hand defence gets strengthened by returning Mitresk and da Silva. So it won't be easy at all for the HSV to break it. Cottbus play with 4-5-1 so it might lead to counter attacks in the own stadium but I think they will also try not only to react.
Hamburg took the match vs Bielefeld not seroius enough in first half. It was better in 2nd half but could not really profit from. Scoring is still the problem though with Sanogo and Guerrero this should change sooner or later. The lack of leadership without van Buyten,Beinlich and Barbarez now is a problem however. It's a very important week for the HSV with this game and then at Osasuna. If they fail in only 1 of them there will be rumours at Hamburg. We can expect a better HSV at Cottbus yet though van der Vaat as key player was not in form last weekend. Kompany is doubtful and Atouba will probably not play. But Boulahrouz returns to defence,it is still strong enough. De Jong will play what he has asked for,in front of defence. Superb Trochowski plays from beginning what will support van der Vaart. No easy task is it and I don't stake too much on it. Still it is worth some I reckon.

Hamburg 1.98 betfair 4/10

Werder Bremen v Leverkusen

Werder played like a big team at Hannover who really challenged them. But Werder always can force the play, with Diego there is lots of creativity,Micoud will hardly be missed. With Borowski and Frings in addition it's simply an awesome midfield. A small problem is that Naldo can't play. As Mertesacker is not there yet and defence is a little skinny, Baumann,Andreasen or Schulz will play Naldo's part.
Leverkusen convincingly beat Aachen who were very poor there. That shouldn't make their performance worse, they definately are quality. But now they face top of the top, I'm curious how Leverkusen will look in this. They will not hide what supports the game and gives Werder spaces what might become suicide for Leverkusen. The attack is strong but defence has not always been solid. To survive at Bremen it must work well. Team news is that Babic is suspended. Odds are a bit short but I can't resisit backing Werder, too positive were last impressions of them.

Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg

I fancy Wolfsburg taking this one, just a little feeling i have! Nothing between the 2 sides IMO, last season, Frankfurt had a pretty poor home form, although Wolfsburg were poor away from home. I would have the odds pretty similar for both teams here, but obviously the bookies think that the home team has the advantage, which i do not see. Home crowds put the pressure on their team and if they are playing poorly from the off or give away an early goal then they can get on their backs, especially in these kind of matches where they see a realistic possiblilty of 3 points. Hofland is a good solid centre back for Wolfsburg and they will be hoping for more clean sheets like on the opening day. A possible 1-0 away victory on the cards here, good value for backing the away team.

Wolfsburg @ 3.50 3/10 bet365
Wolfsburg +0.5 @ 1.80 5/10 bet365
Wolfsburg CS 1-0 @ 8.5 1/10 bet365

I'll second that call on Werder McFly, although my confidence on them is 10/10. And also i will add another few bets to this match to go with the outright win..

Werder Bremen -1 @ 2.10 4/10
Klose FS @ 5.00 2/10
Klose ATS @ 2.10 6/10
Klose 1st GS & Bremen to win 2-0 @ 19.00 1/10

Really fancy Miroslav to add to his tally here and obviously the Bremen victory!

good choice christo! Wolfsburg have every chance to get sth at Frankfurt who are far away from best shape and still have important missings.
good luck with the wolves mate!

Looks like a typical over 2.5 day!

Aachen - Schalke
Aachen played excellent at home last season,Schalke is the favourite. After the first round and the Aachen defeat by Leverkusen I hope that Aachen Coach Hecking will change the system back to 4-4-2 after the 4-5-1 from the first match.

Bremen - Leverkusen
Bremen with the most goals in the last season and Leverkusen with the most goals in 2006.Klose,Klasnic,Frings,Diego,Rolfes,Barbarez,Ki eßling,Schneider .. enough players for some goals.

Bochum - Munich
Makaay looked good in the last match versus Dortmund.Magath find the right words for him.But Fabio Jr. and Beni Auer made also a good match in the first round.Maybe a 1-2.

Dortmund - Mainz
Dortmund have hugh defense problems.Metzelder and Kehl are injury,Wörns is banned.Coach Marwijk bring the newbi Amedick at first.Mainz Coach Klopp has a good offense.Azaouagh,Feulner Diakité played good in the first match.
Maybe a 2-2 or something like that.

Berlin v Hannover

Now with bigger choice in attack, Berlin finally can play with 2 strikers which will be Pantellic and Gimenez for the first time from beginning on. Caoch Göt wants to avoid a draw and thus put pressure away from the young team. Last weekend at Wolfsburg the Hertha were not convincing but they can do a lot better. Besides this games they consistently have shown good performances like in the UI-Cup and league cup, still with old scoring problems that should fade away now. With Bastürk and Gilberto Berlin has 2 of the best midfielders of Bundesliga in their rows. I just expect a big improvement of them.
Hannover is stronger than last season and looked good against Werder last week. Still they are not effective enough with the new offense play. Still the Hertha is more ambitious and they may not even score facing a strong Berliner defence. Hannover may play braver this season though to avoid many draws this year. As Hertha is likely to score they are no bad pick, considering the price and the better quality of the host.

Berlin 1.96 betfair 5/10

Dortmund v Mainz

As said from chiqo above, Dortmund have huge defence problems without Metzelder and Wörns, Kehl in front of the line is also out.At Bayern the effect could be seen, defence was shaky.Well now it's a different opponent and with Minz' current attack line (Diakité,Damm) there is no experience at all storming. BVB younster Brenska is a good compensation in defence,in previus season he even played mostly instead of fit Metzelder. Thus Amedick is the only unknown factor but he got used to recommandations of this league and he can be trusted to do a solid job. Kruska replaces Kehl in defensive midfield what is no total compensation of strong Kehl. But I think defence is good enough for Mainz. Sahin,Pienaar,Frei and Valdez look promising to make the win.
Mainz was pretty lucky to beat Bochum, especially in first half Bochum was the stronger team. Mainz will not build up a defence wall here, so Dortmund will profit from that and not do that hard. I guess Mainz will have nothing to do with relegation,in spite of that most teams are stronger. Here a superior BVB is waiting what they won't survive normally.

Dortmund 1.68 betfair 6/10

looks better than the over. but Frankfurt is always good for some goals though their form seems not good and the midfield is weakened. Wolfsburg has been looking much more dangerous than last season and I wouldn't be surprised if they scored here. Can happen the under mate, but I would leave it alone.

GL McFly with your punts.

I stake some money to the friday evening match.

Nuremberg - Gladbach
Nuremberg have one of the best Bundesliga Coaches in my eyes.Hans Meyer coached from 99 - 03 and know the club and the Players.Meyer bring Nuremberg out of the relegation area last season and end in the midfield of the ladder last season.Gladbach won with much luck versus the climber from Cottbus in the first round.Cottbus was the better team until the 51th minute.Svensson shoot the 1-0 and 3 minutes after that goal Aidoo had to leave the court after the second yellow card.Cottbus was knocked out.
Neuville shoot the 2-0 in the 6 minutes later and Cottbus couldn´t come back to the match.
Nuremberg beat Stuttgart in an excellent match away 0-3.Vittek,Schroth and Saenko shoot the goals.

Nuremberg to win tonight!
