Hi, anyone with any team news for the Hannover v Hansa Rostock game? At evens for Hannover this seems very generous and as I know that bookies are NOT generous it makes me wonder what they know that I don't? Any history or general info of this game would be much appreciated...

Hi, I was thinking exactly the same when I saw the odds and so play Hannover.

A preview is in work

Borussia Dortmund v VfB Stuttgart

The Borussia is coming in to this with another disgracing home perfromance against Nürnberg in mind. Like in the 1-3 to Hannover at home before, Dortmund really looked like a team without remaining goals. The time of Doll seems over and he as well is more and more sick of the critical enviroment. Petric and Klimowicz are out for this one besides Kehl and the attack is weakened by that. Valdez already decided to leave the BVB and he is rather not expected to start scoring suddenly. The improving Kuba and Frei are the gusy the have to hope for. Stuttgart are coming in good shape having given the right reaction on the defeat to Bayern with the great 4-1 over Frankfurt. Stuttgart achieved many points in second season half and the rush from bottom to the wider top has been amazing. They need to improve on the raod though where they have been winless in last four and often performed so. Nevertheless, the team is looking like being on fire and form, strength and motivation all speak for the guests who may have the likes of Meira and Htizlsperger again.

Stuttgart (-0.25) AH @ 2.0 bet365 5/10

Karlsruher SC v Energie Cottbus

Karlsruhe only won two of last ten but have been reminding of earlier performances lately with a fast and straight-forward play. They showed a good offense spirit drawing 3-3 to Werder in previous home game and struggled at Hertha due to lacking efficiency once again. Kapllani scored in last two games though and also Iashvili along Hajnal is in good shape but has been good for assist only. However, the KSC is playing for not much more than pride any more but this couldn't be seen in recent performance and I'm quite sure they're hot for this home game again and will show the used passion. I think odds are too much in favour to the guests. Cottbus are fighting against relegation but with their away weakness and recent impressions of the team, at least the away win appears unlikely. The 0-2 at Bremen suits them better than they actually deserve and Cottbus on the road for reason suffered a few heavy defeats. The guests show more courage and passion in their home games and without this, to come to points here will become hard even though they desperately need them.

Karlsruhe (-0.25) AH @ 2.0 bet365 4/10

Hannover 96 v Hansa Rostock

Hannover have been in good shape so that they sneaked a point from Schalke even. Being defeatless in four, they prooved that season for them is not over yet and Hannover still put focus on offense instead to hide only. The draw at Schalke gave them confidence and in terms of quality, a dominace by Rostock would surprise. Results of the host at home are a little shaky but they mostly did what you can expect from a home side. Hannover are trying to improve the club records by finishing better than on place 9 and coming to more than 45 points (43 atm). With five points to place 15, Hansa Rostock are close to promotion and the needed win hardly can be imagined regarding the performances lately and in whole second season half widely. Six of last seven were lost and Hansa have scored only 11 times in 2008 so far. Coach Pagelsdorf is being criticised for letting play a very young team with hardly experience while a few former key players sit on bench. Indeed, the home performance to Hamburg was a disaster again after the stupid 1-2 from Cottbus. Rostock are capable of starting home games eagerly at least, on the road they've been nothing but harmless often despite winning at Karlsruhe a few weeks before. The team gave the impression that they lost faith in rescue and under this condition, they need luck to be still alive after this one.

Hannover @ 2.0 bet365 5/10

VfL Bochum v Schalke 04

Bochum with 2-6-2 in last ten will try to come to a home win again after four consecutive draws. Bochum are safe but showed a certain improvement in recent away game at Bielefeld which got lost though. I expect them very motivated here as for the fans, to beat Schalke means a lot what the players know. However, they face Schalke now who should be capable of getting the three poinst in race for places 2 and 3. The guests were closer to win the game against Hannover but at the end, they've been not forcing and efficient enough. Well, always not easy to determine the state of Schalke. Gernerally, they've been improving towards season end and should have too much quality in their rows, not to dominate this important game. Bochum seem not without chance though and I expect a lively game depite seven and six Overs for the teams in last ten games.

Over 2.75 goals
@ 1.97 betdaq 4/10
Schalke @ 1.95 betfair 3/10

McFly....thank you for the information but do you know anything about the players for tomorrow? I am wondering IF Hannover have any injuries to key players?
From their last 6 games I think Hannover have Won 2 Drawn 3 and lost only once with goals for 10 and goals against 8.
Hansa Rostock have only won 1 drawn 0 and lost 5. Goals for 5 and against 10.
I think this is looking (from statistics) a very good bet. Bet 365 are offering 4/9 for the draw no bet option which is looking very tempting my friend...

McFly.....also, what are your thoughts on the Wednesday match between Hamburg SV and Werder Bremen?
Hamburg have only won 1 of their last 6 games drawn 2 and lost 3, scoring 4 goals only and conceding 5.
Werder have won 4 games (in their last 6), drawn 1 and lost only 1. They have scored 15 and conceded 8.
Werder Bremen look good value to me at EVENS for the draw no bet with Bet 365 particularly when you consider that Werder are second only to Bayern in the current 'form' league.

Hannover will have the face of recent weeks what means that the midfielders Pinto and Yankov and defender Tarnat are still out. Rostock are without defender Gledson and Beinlich mainly what should affect them more.

Soccer Re: Germany - Bundesliga (6-7 May 08)

My bets for today in the Bundesliga (I'm taking the teams that are, in theory, stronger and also that have something to win in theses games):

Bochum-Schalke 04
Bochum with nothing much to play for in the league, even though, from what I know about Germany and the Bundesliga this is a local derby.
Schalke are currently 3rd two points behind 2nd place Bremen and from the direct Champions League qualification.
My pick: away win;

B. Dortmund-Stuttgart
Dortmund with nothing much to play for in the league while Stuttgart is still looking at a Champions League qualification spot.
I expect Stuttgart's motivation and best quality as a team to play an important role here.
My pick: away win;

Good luck!

Thank you very much for your information McFly... If Hannover are playing the same players that were good enough to draw 1 1 with Schalke 04, hopefully they will be too good for Hansa tonight and should certainly be too strong for their opponents. Also, Hansa are bottom of the current 'form table' with only one win and 5 losses in their last 6 so hopefully they will not be strong enough to get any points in Hannover.

Hannover - Hansa Rostock over 2.5
Hannover have gone over in 4 of their last 5 games as well as over in 4 of their last 5 home games. They have scored 25 goals and coneded 27 in their 15 home games.
Hansa Rostock have gone over in their last 4 games as well as their last 2 away games.
In the past 8 clashes between the two sides, they have gone over in 7 of them

Schalke
Bochum lie in 11th place and have little to play for. They have drawn quite a few games at home due to their inability to finish off their opponents. AS for Schalke, they lie in 3rd position with still a chance of going second. They have won 3 of their last 5 on the road, and have won 3 of their last 4 at Bochum.

Now that's difficult to say. As you can see, I fancy both Karlsruhe and Stuttgart to nick their games, so I don't really fancy any draw. You may be right with them, they easily can always happen. Dortmund are looking too weak to avoid a defeat though, maybe Karlsruhe struggle to score and can't beat threatened Cottbus.

I was thinking about Stuttgart to win at better than evens but now i see Stuttgart to Score OVER 1 1/2 goals is at evens. This almost seems a safer bet because the only score where Stuttgart could win the game and not score 2 goals is 1-0. I don't think 1-0 is a very likely scoreline in this game. This way taking Stuttgart Over 1 1/2 team goals protects you from a 2-2 draw or even a 3-3 draw with these 2 teams it is surely possible. Any one agree or disagree with this? still 2 hours till kickoff.

disagree with that. Brussia Dortmund will never score 2 goals without Klimowitch and Petrič. Valdez out of form (on transfer list). Brussia has to many misses for tonight game!!

Stuttgart for 2,50 8/10
