Arrow Germany - 3rd leagues (Mar 28-31 08)

Braunschwieg v weder bremen am over 2.5@1.825

Wrong section i know but will put it here until german 3rd leagues is created.

Nice price IMO for 2 high scoring /conceding teams.
Braunschwig are 4/4 for overs since the winter break wheras bremen are 4/5 overs in same period.

I fancy the home team to win but would be surprised if the overs failed to come in.

Nothing to add actually, you mentioned the good form of both. Braunschweig have a goal of 14-7 in last five, in each they scored and conceded. Coach Möhlman has full choice but to back the host is looking dangerous. Werder II must be estimated even higher in offense and they may have the likes of firstteam players Vander and Niemeyer in this one, along Austrian national player Harnik or Schindler. I guess, we can expect an eventful game rather.

Over 2.5 goals @ 1.85 sportingbet 5/10

Burghausen @ 2.84 betfair 4/10

I think Burghausen are worth to be played straight as they should be slight favourites in this one. They improved in offense compared to first season half thanks to the signing of Manske and Bellerie. They're unbeaten in last 3 and suffered only 1 away defeat so far. Recent draws from Stuttgart II and Aalen deserve much respect. 1860 II is a skilled team but not with the individual class and experience of the guests. 1860 only reached a 1-1 at Oggersheim who made one of their rare good performances what may speak against 1860 also. The host alreadly lost 5 home games and couldn't win previous two. Göktan won't play again for them.

That were 2 results I never would have expected.

Can't believe no single goal was scored in the Braunschweig game. From what I've read, Werder had a few chances but not much happened obviously.

How can Burghausen loose this 0-5 after 0-0 at HT?? 1860 couldn't beat Oggersheim last week and now hammered ambitous Burghausen

Agreed Mcfly,

But i'm sure you can cover it with the many wins you've had in recent weeks!

Ahlen (-1) AH @ 1.95 bet365 7/10
Consistency of Ahlen let me stake bigger in this one, a win by 1 and thus a push should be makable at least. Ahlen come on the bak of the 3-1 at Dresden where they were lucky in first half to be down by 1 goal only, after the double scoring, they playd it clever though. Thanks to six wins in seven, Ahlen are standing close to the top and form definately can be called a good one. The squad is complete nw what gives Ahlen various optins for the succesful attack (15 goals in last five). Verl are deep in bottom without playing a totally poor season. The guests lack of scoring with 18 goals totally but can play solid football by times. Still, it showed that Verl do hard against ambitous teams like Ahlen. Verl came to 4 away wins already but lost 2 of 3 recently and totally 3 of 4.

Düsseldorf @ 1.77 betfair 5/10
Düsseldorf came back on track with the deserved 2-1 at Verl and hit back after the home defeat to Dresden. Performance there was one of the rare weak ones in recent games, besides they finally impressed with their offense also winning 3/4 and netting 9 times in that period. The team definately has made the step to a convincing promotion potential and for reason they're clear favourite in this one. A weakened Magdeburg luckily came to a 0-0 against Oberhausen, but they won 3/5 lately (three of four away win lost). Magdeburg have added quality to attack but play is still to improve to really threaten the big teams, I guess.

Aalen @ 2.58 betfair 4/10
Aalen achieved a better table standing thanks to strong performances and two wins in last three. The 3-2 at Stuttgart recently was a little lucky, therefor there had been numerous avoidable draws before. On the other hand, Aalen lost only once in ten. Reutlingen is no easy away game since Reutlingen invest much in their home games and first have to be held against. They won 4/6 at home witout defeating in that period, still are Aalen the team with more quality and gotta be considered as favourite.

Ingolstadt @ 1.76 betfair 6/10
Ingolstadt claimed table top with four wins in a row, needless to say that they're in good shape. Much routine and class is to find in their play and they surely have the quality to promote to Bundesliga II. The home weakness of first season half has faded away, Ingolstadt won three of four there of late. Bayern II disappointed against Elversberg despite having had the likes of Kroos and Schlaudraff from first team. The late away record is not so bad but Bayern use to hestitate too much on the road and I don't see them surviving this one.

FSV Frankfurt (-0.5) Half Time AH @ 1.76 canbet 4/10
Hard to find a reasonable bet to back the FSV, a bet on a lead at HT makes sense though. After the 3-0 win from Sandhausen, bookies reacted, besides we couldn't expect that much better odds as they face Oggersheim. Frankfurt hardly could win their home games so far despite having lead often enough. They often take lead in first half what should be the case in this one, too. Oggersheim came to a draw to 1860 last weekend but the normally weak team would surprise me if they avoided a clear defeat here.

Stuttgart II (-0.25) AH @ 2.0 bet365 4/10
Stuttgart are in good shape. There have been more succesful periods but play is impressing these days and make them worth to backed. They were unlucky to defeat to Aalen but impressingly won at Regensburg before with 3-0. In second season half, Stuttgart couldn't keep up the seria of victories on the road but they seem in the right shape to make the second consecutive win on the road now. Pfullendorf is a fighting team rather creeping around in the very bottom. They come on the back of two away defeats but won previous two home games. Still, I think that Pfullendorf need a good day to prevent loosing it.

Erfurt (-0.25) AH @ 1.95 bet365 4/10 & Over 2.5 @ 2.05 sportingbet 3/10
The more reliable bet should be the outcome bet, still I expect a few goals also. Erfurt have been playing well lately but still lacked of results having won once in six only. But Erfurt came back at Union Berlin and recent home draw to Babelsberg was a gift for the guests. Essen sacked Coach Bonan after the surprsing home defeat to Babelsberg and two defeats in last three. It could be seen that confidence hardly is among the team. Will be interesting to see how the team reacts, generally, Essen didn't play poorly only and given their class, they should contribute to this game after all.

Cottbus II (-0.25) AH @ 2.02 bet365 4/10
Cottbus with good performances in recent weeks stopped a winless run of five with the nice 4-2 victory over Emden. Last two away games got lost, the tow before had been won though. Cottbus have been on eye line to most of their oppoenents this year and made a good developement. Thus, they can be expected to suceed at Wolfsburg who have been pretty mediocre. Rock bottom Wolfsburg lost last five games, a goal margin of 1-16 says it all.

yeh same with me, Düsseldorf are appearing more volatile than I had expected them to be still.

It's a pity for your 5 timer

Unterhaching @ 1.96 betfair 5/10
Haching are unbeaten at home and even the best league team there. They've quickly been moving up in table and actually it might go on like that considering the three wins and one draw recently. Haching won even previous two away games so that the limiting factor has become smaller. They've been very mighty in their recent home games playing superb football and winning four of five. Promoter and former table leader Sandhausen has lost much pace and suffered two deserved home defeats. The succesful defence made many mistakes what is rather uncommon for them though. Sandhausen didn't loose previous three away games but the recent shape doesn't give much hope for this one. They still have a few missings while Unterhaching are complete besides Tyce.

Dresden (0) AH
@ 1.82 bet365 4/10
Dresden continued with their volatile results. After the impressing victory from Düsseldorf, Dresden started the home game like they had stopped before and could have lead higher at HT. They couldn't recover from the sudden goals against them right after then and lost 1-3. Dresden have been more succesful away lately than during first season half what was not that hard to achiev though considering the rare points they had reached before. However, chances are good to see a engaged team again and I favor them to nick it at the end. Dortmund II hardly convinced in recent games (one win in six) but managed four wins in ten having scored more than one only once. In offense, Hill and Ricken are out what should have an effect on them.

using this thread for todays game...
SSV Reutlingen +0.5
Looking at these two, they are the best teams in this league when it comes to draws, with 24 draws played this season both combined. So matches between these two neighbours on the table are often tight and looking at Reutlingens undefeated streak in last games, and their losses only to better teams as Aalen and leader Inglostadt, i cant give an edge to Burgausen to take all three points. IMO another draw but this ah is too generous and ill have a pice of it.

I am with you expert, a draw is most likely result here, defeat is not good for any of these two sides. I think it will be 2-2!
