Essen-Werder Over 2.5 @ 1.8 sportingbet 5/10 I feel a little sorry for struggling RW Essen as recent good performances didn't lead to any succes. They were unlucky at Wuppertal to concede the 2-2 and even the 0-4 home defeat to Union was by far not as clear as it looks like. 10 points to first table half look like too much to get compensated in last seven games, yet they haven't given up and I believe we will see an engaged Essen again what also is of need considering they face Werder here. After three winless games, Bremen hit back with the 1-0 over Union which they could have won higher. Efficiency lately hasn't been as good as used of them, one reason for only one over in last four. Four of seven were overs though, on Essen side even six of seven. Bayern-VfB Over 2.5 @ 2.11 betdaq 3/10 The second Bayern team is in quite good shape and won previous three home game 3-1 over Regensburg and Siegen. The skilled side became more consitent in causing danger and could climb up in table on place 7. Three of four home games were overs recently. Stuttgart is the stronger team actually, at least regarding offense since both defense are solid ones. The guests lost last two home games but suceeded in previous three away games. They're always likely to score, at the same time it's the team with the best defense.

Decided to put 2 points straight on Stuttgart II in addition. After all, they're the stronger and far more consitent team and I don't think that odds were set in the right way really. The 1-2 to 1860 shouldn't bother too much besides that they gave away the game stupidly, maybe that's even good for this one now.

Union Berlin @ 1.72 888sport 6/10 Union come into the game against Cottbus with three consecutive home draws, in none they disapoointed though besides efficiency. They defeated to Bremen last weekend but I don't think we have to worry about them and their performances. Cottbus won four of five recently and three in a row, accordingly have performances been like. But situation is differing now as first team has an important game so that Kukielka and Rangelov will be in that squad probably. With or without them are Union favourite and will be eager to hold contact to the very top. RW Ahlen (-0.25) AH @ 1.95 bet365 5/10 Over 2.5 @ 1.97 betdaq 2/10 RW Ahlen won all home games in 2008 (14 goals in last four) and are defeatless in eleven in the meanwhile. The 0-0 at Oberhausen was one of the rare rather average performances, still the AH line is looking pretty good considering the terrible performance of Düsseldorf from midweek defeating 1-3 to mediocre Lübeck. Still, Düsseldorf have been very succesful on the road, on the other hand is this one of the toughest travels in this league. Fortuna striker Sahin is suspended and I expect a draw in worst case. Düsseldorf have a normally good defense, yet did they play overs in six of seven. Ahlen with five ones in that period and seven of nine.

Braunschweig (-1) AH @ 1.82 betdaq 5/10 Braunschweig have been playing very well but after a good run now with one win in last five only. They had tough games at Dresden and Wuppertal though, in both games they could convince anyway. Previous home game was won against Hamburg but the host is still under pressure regarding the five point gap to first table half. The SC Verl has been more succesful on the road than at home but lately, last four away games all got lost with a goal margin of two . Unterhaching @ 1.76 betfair 5/10 They're in good shape but drew previous two games only. The 0-0 at Aalen was a good result while the 1-1 against Burghausen (with a weakened team) was disappointing considering the home strength of Haching. Missing situation has relaxed so that I'm confident of the next home victory. Reutlingen are no bad side but not as powerful as the host, of course. The guests are fighting for staying in first table half and have lost on the road three times only, yet I'd be surprised not to see the fourth one coming in this one. Aalen (0) AH @ 1.73 betdaq 4/10 Over 2.5 goals @ 2.01 betdaq 4/10 Aalen come on the back of two good home performances in which Sandhausen were beaten, in the goalless Haching game they were closer to the win at least. Previous away performance was a disappointment, on the other hand they defeated to strong FSV Frankfurt. Before, there had been good away games at Reutlingen and Stuttgart (draw and win). The Stuttgarter Kickers significantly improved compared to first season half. Four wins in last six (unbeaten there) pushed them close to first table half and they made it to come to consistent scoring. Nevertheless, the guests are the better side so that draw and away win are looking most likely to happen here. Double FSV Frankfurt & RW Erfurt 3/10 The FSV won last five games to nil and are defeatless in ten. So it doesn't surprise that even promotion has become possible for the furios promoter. Amazing that they could net in each of last eighten games. 1860 came to a rather lucky win at Stuttgart but have lost most of their away games. A problem is the always changing team. RW Erfurt are without their goalgetter Bunjaku but Hamburg miss a lot regulars in this game. They've been without succes on the road in the last few weeks but won three of four home games building up the used pressure. Hamburg often struggle to become forcing and in that weakened state, I hardly give them a chance here. ![]()

Magdeburg (-1) AH @ 1.8 bet365 5/10 Magdeburg's good run towards first table half was stopped by the home defeat to Emden in which the host didn't convince like in the games before. Nevertheless, they still should have chances with five points less, therefor they need to keep up winning on the road what they did in last three (including Dortmund and Düsseldorf). This is a must win as Wolfsburg hardly can compete in this league loosing seven of ten by two or more goals.
