yeh my 2 bets today will be both draws - 1 unit on each outcome

Rennes @ 4.33
Calais @ 3.95

no time for analysis yet but I'll post something later.

For those that were wondering, the Calais v Nantes match will be played at Le Stade Felix Bolleart. That is the home ground of Lens so its effectively a neural venue. For the record, Nantes have yet to play away at Lens this season and they will travel here on the final day of the season (May 13th)

Rennes vs Montpellier

Rennes

Lying 3th in Le championnat and are 11-1-5 at home.Their form is great with 9 wins in a row and they have won all five last league matches at Route de Lorient.Def Adaílton dos Santos Filho,19/0),midt E.Didot,19/1), Def Edman,26/0),Forward Frei,21/5) and def Rochat,9/1) are all missing trough injuries while forward John Utaka,24/10) are doubtful

Rennes
Isaksson
Perrier-Doumbé
G.Bourillon
Mensah
Jeunechamp
Sorlin
Y.Gourcuff
Källström
Y.Hadji
Monterrubio (cap)
Utaka (or Briand)

Montpellier

lying 10th in Ligue 2 and are 4-3-9 away from home.Their league form is poor with six losses and one win in six last outings and they have lost all three last matches away from home.Def Chakouri,14/0),midt Godemèche,14/0) and young third choice goalkeeper Jourdren are all missing trough injuries but Montpellier will be boosted by the return of midt Taouil and def Colombo from injury and suspension respectively.

Montpellier
Pionnier
Colombo
F.Mendy
Ngambi
L.Clément
Carotti (cap)
Taouil
Delaye
Montano
Bugnet
Lafourcade

Rennes have a strong home record and their form is excellent but prises on home win isn`t usuable i think.Montpellier form is bad as is their away record so it`s difficult to se how they should take something from this game.

Time for mix & max game day and hopefully I can clean up my act a bit.

I like Ligue 1 Renne regardless of their injury list. They've been playing to win at home AND away and I see the home advantage big here.

Thanks for the advise on the neutral ground in the other matchup today and with the exception of their last league game Nante have look just terrible on the road. Lets not forget they barely stayed up last season and with the goal of maintaining Ligue 1 status pretty much in the bag they just might be a bit la-de-da here besides Calais holds the better value so I say Calais FT and play the HT draw as cover since the tie is always a possibility.

I'm looking for the treble today as usual so I might add one of the following to the mix

Arsenal
Zaragoza
Carlton/Middlesborough game looks tricky.

Rennes 2-1
Calais 1-0

Rennes v Montpellier
well I beleive Rennes should have few problems seeing off Montpellier. The home team have bene in awesome form recently but the visitors cant be underestimated. They are one of the higher class teams in ligue 2 and beat Bordeaux in the last round. The home advantage could be a crucial facor here though and Rennes have no excuses should they fail to win. I will still bet draw though because I beleive somewhere we will have an all square game today

Bet Draw @ 4.33 1/10

Calais v Nantes
6 years ago Calais shockingly reached thr French cup final where they lost to Nantes. Now today they have a chance to gain their revenge although the class difference could be too much to make up. Calais do have a full strengh team here whilst Nantes miss a few strikers. At the end of the day Nnates should win but they are never very convincing on the road. Anything can happen here and I think ther's every chance of a draw.

Bet draw @ 3.95 1/10

Rennes for me this afternoon. They've won 8 in a row in Ligue 1 and so long as they dont take Montpellier lightly they have to win this. I know they have their sights on 3rd place and the Champions League but with Lyon getting knocked out last night they can win this tournament, its wide open. Kim Kallstrom is still performing as he can for them and I'm shocked hes still playing for Rennes. A great creative midfielder with an eye for goal, hes the key man for me tonight. Fresh from 2 goals against Sochaux he's in form and confident When they fire Rennes they fire and if they can get an early goals they can win this by 2 goals or more for me. Allez Rennes!

Rennes HT/FT 6/10 @ 2.26 betfair

Good so scrap your draw bet and lets plunge into Rennes!
Yeah it would, they deserve some success for the performances over the last few seasons. A great little club that produces some bloody good players.

Rennes can't defend for toffee right now, getting ripped apart and should be down to 10 men too!
