Are Lyon likely to take this serious?
If so they look tempting right now.

Both team expected to start with their best players.Lyon best team in france and always strong at stade gerland.Marseille are just average away from home and their form is also average but they are a talanted side that shouldn`t be underrestimated so i am not to happy with the prizes on Lyon(165 highest available) French cup always unpredicable and with Marseille capable of getting a result at stade gerland i believe Marseille@+0.5,+1@208@Bet365 is value in this game.

I definately agree here Ringabell that Marseille are cracking value. They are never easy to beat and are well capable of at least drawing. Lyon havent won this cup since the 70s and dont have a good record in it. The French cup is often full of shocks so my bet here will be.

Marseille +0.75 AH @ 2.15 Pointbet 3/10

In the PSG v Lille game my preference goes to PSG because of home advantage. Earlier in the season they beat Lille here 2-1 and I wouldn't be surprised to see them repeat it again. They desperately need some silverware this season and have to make the most of what I think is a decent draw. Lyon, Marsille, and Rennes would all arguably have been tougher opponents at this stage. My bet will be

PSG -0.25 AH @ 1.86 Pointbet 3/10

This is certainly not a competition to stake heavily on so only minimal stakes but I'm hoping for a good night

GL all

I would definitely go for Lyon. From the 2,15 mention above, the odds now have droped to 1,65 at best which means either that many players have played the home win and the bookies are lowering their risk or that the initial odds where too high (or both)

Where did you see the 2.15, mate? 1.66 is being given in the whole thread and has been since the very beginning. 2.15 is for Mars +3/4.

There's nothing wrong with these odds for the home win.Marseille are playing poor football all season and only a miracle could save them from another defeat.

the H2H's show no home win for Lyon in 3 years!

and they have conceeded 17 at home in the league!

Ht draw would be my bet I think -but a Ft lay of Lyon wouldn't be a shock winning punt either -IMO!

Bookmaker/PriceBet365 @ 1.80 (Back)
ReasoningLyon are out of champions league and just a miracle can stop them from taking another league title so Lyon are expected to field their best side tonight.Lyon are very strong at Gerland(11-4-2)but they only won three out of seventeen matches with two goals or more at home this season.Their overall league form is very good with six wins in their seven last league matches.

Marseille are out of uefa cup and they had a pretty nad season in domestic league so this is Marseille only chance to win something this year and they are also expected to field their best side tonight.Marseille away record is far from good(5-3-9) and their recent form hasn`t been great either but they have just lost one of their seven last league.

No doubt who the favourite for tonight but french cup is one of the most unpredictable cup in europe and Marseille are definately capable of giving Lyon a real fight tonight and i believe the value is on the visitors tonight.

Ringabell - you should state how large is the handicap you're taking - +3/4 or +1? It may also lead to voiding your selection over there at S-P.

an 80% return with that one goal cushion as a safety margin would seem reasonable!

but 150% return without the cushion by just laying Lyon seems even nicer-IMO!

Is the French cup only on 1 game? That is to say only one leg?
