well, if I'd have been in then I would have been nervous as fcuk

I'm just looking now at some of the late goals scored tonight and ligue 2 really does live up to its reputation.

Caen 2-1 Chateauroux - Cedric Hengbart in the 89th minute not for the first time this season and he's a bloody defender!!. That could be a priceless strike and saves all the Caen backers tonight.

Bastia 1-1 Le Havre - David Martot goal on 89' gives me the win on the +0.5 AH. I owe this guy a drink

Dijon 1-1 Creteil - Mickael Citony on 90' to deny and Dijon backers

Clermont 3-2 Guingamp - They were 0-1 down on 69' but hit 3 goals in 10 minutes to turn it around and perhaps save their season. Huge win really and I had a feeling they might get it

Guegnon 3-1 Montpellier - comprehensive home win although a suprise number of goals

Sete 3-2 Laval - A real swings and roundabouts game as Laval twice came form behind to level at 2-2. But a 90th minute Cami strike gives Sete just theri 4th win of the season. I'm really glad that they at last have something to celebrate.

Istres 3-0 Reims - comprehensive home win which I perhaps should have had

Grenoble 1-1 Brest - Grenoble take the lead in the 84th minute but Brest level on 89' through Verchave. That goal could be so important for them and also denies me a win.

Sedan 0-3 Valenciennes -incredible away win and Valencienens are champions. The pressure in now really on Sedan and they are far from promoted

In total I count 10 goals scored tonight between the minutes 80'-90'. Incredible late drama and the days of the 0-0 draws are long forgotten

allez ligue 2

Lorient v Amiens
Its getting really close at the top of the table and Lorient desperately need to win this match. If they were to claim the points then they would move into 2nd position, although still with a lot of pressure on them. Next weekend they face Valenciennes who are already promoted and looking good for the championship. Its totally essentialthat Les Merlus get the points and I back them to get the victory they need. At this crucial stage of the campaign they have hit good form, winning 5 of their last 6 games. The Brittany side have kept clean sheets in all these games.
Tonight they face up to lowly Amiens who are still not safe from relegation. But I really cant see them claiming much here and they have struggled all season away form home. In the whole of the year they have managed to register just 1 road success and if they were to win here, then it would be a major shock. The difference between the two teams is immense really and there should only be 1 result. The only positive aspect Amiens have is that their squad is in good condition, and they miss nobody of note. Lorient miss key strikers Kemal Bourhani and Johann Audel. However these guys have been out of action for a few weeks now.
Lorient’s odds are bad @ just 1.45 but the -1 AH is certainly worth considering. They totally hammered Brest 5-0 two weeks ago, and prior to that they put 3 past Montpellier. I think Lorient can claim a convincing win à la Stade Mousoir ce soir. My prediction is a 2-0 score

Bet
Lorient -1 AH 1.89 Pointbet 4/10

ReasoningThe only game today that I can bet on with enough confidence. All 3 games of EPL, the on game of Bundesliga 2, and the one from Serie B are all risky to predict, eventhough some may appear obvious (Arsenal will win, but by how many??)

Anyway, Amiens are considerably saf now, bein points above relegation zone with only 2 games to go (this one is the last game of day 36). They generall lack motivation, plus they enjoy a really weak striking force (2nd worst in Ligue 2)

On the road he hav scored only 10 goals, and in thir last 4 games (home and away) they've scored only 1.

Lorient are a promotion candidate, and a win hr snds them straight back into the promotion trio, landing in 2nd spot (currently 4th with a poin behind Caen and 3 points bhind Sedan, but with a suprior goal diffrence).

They're undefeated in 7, and at home thy've collected full points in their last 3 games. (all won to-nil)

They also have the best defence in this league, plus a fair striking force (4th best before this game) so the strength scale is greatly on their side.

Add to that motivation, home fans, latest form, and you ge an obvious home win, and with 11 golas scored in their last 6 games (9 of which in their last 3 home), vs. 9 conceded by Amiens in their last 6 games (7 of which in the last 3 on the road), I believe the home team is well capable of scoring more than 2 goals, so taking -1 as handicap is actually a banker. (@1.87 also with 10Bet)

Good Luck
