Sedan v Valenciennes
Well I have to favour Valenciennes here on the +0.25 AH. They are the team in the better form and on a run of 7 straight wins. Sedan have been solid all season but not convincing at home. Despite only losing once here all year, they have won just 3 of their last 11 at Le Stade Louis Dugauguez.
If either team was to win this match then they are definitely promoted and if Caen lose then both will definitely be going up to ligue 1 next season. Motivation is high and this will be a nervous affair. I see a draw by a 1-1 scoreline but the value definitely lies with the visitors. Valenciennes on the +0.25 AH is a very solid bet IMO as they will be very hard to defeat.

Bet
Valenciennes +0.25 AH 1.89 Betdaq 3/10

Bastia v Le Havre
I've already advised this bet but riddiculous prices are still available. NO WAY should Bastia be favourites to beat Le Havre and here are some reasons to get on that +0.5 Le Havre handicap.

1) The game will be played at a neutral venue and all home advantage is lost for Bastia

2) They are team in terrible form losing 4 consecutive matches and all confidence gone

3) They miss 8 first team regulars to injury

4) Le Havre have lost just 2 of their last 16 games and have a squad in good condition

someone please tell me why Bet365 make Bastia 1.83 favourites for this match

answer - because they are total muppets

even if Bastia won then this is still by far the correct bet and I'd have no regrets

Wel tonight I don't bet too much and miss out a few game but hopefully there will be some profit. The best bet of the night has to be that Le Havre +0.5 as its simply riddiculous price.

My CS predictions

Bastia 0-2 Le Havre
Caen 1-0 Chateauroux
Clermont 2-1 Guingamp
Dijon 0-0 Creteil
Grenoble 2-0 Brest
Gueugnon 1-0 Montpellier
Istres 0-0 Reims
Sete 2-1 Laval
Sedan 1-1 Valenciennes

GL all tonight

Default Re: France Ligue 2 & National (28 April - 1 May)

National Division tonight
There are 4 games no tonight in National and I have picks in 3 of them. The bookmaker used in all bets is pointbet.

Niort v Vannes
Niort are so close to promotion and won't want to slip up in this match against Vannes. The top of the table club are still unbeaten at home this season winning 11/16 so far. I can't see anything other than a home win and the only question is by how big a margin. -1 on the AH looks a good bet.

Bet
Niort -1 AH @ 1.81 3/10

Moulins v Pau

There’s not doubt IMO that Moulins will be relegated this season and they need to start winning very soon if they are to stand any chance of survival. But they are on a terrible run of results having lost 5 of their last 7. Pau are tough opponents and have lost just 1 of their last 15 games. Away form home they are invincible in 8 fixtures. No way should be allowed a +0.25 AH on them, and I’ll take it for sure.

Bet
Pau +0.25 AH @ 1.81 3/10

Croix v Angers
Croix have had a terrible run of results and have won just 1 of their last 14 games. Tonight they play Angers, a team that has won 4 of its last 7 games. Both teams need the points in as bid to avoid the drop and its angers who look in the better nick. I think they can obtain at least a draw and I’ll take the +0.25 on offer.

Bet
Angers +0.25 AH @ 1.99 3/10

Boulogne v Cannes - no bet

CAen and clermont should be good double.. clermont cant lose or draw they need to win at all costs . they are the worst team in the last five games getting just a point. but im sure that today they will go all out for the win against giungamp which has no interest even though they are performing well.

Caen although prices are low should win as well they won all their last 5 games and they wont miss this one

This match against Guingamp is their last home one of the campaign and they simply must win IMO. Their remaining fixtures are away to Laval and Sete, games which they are well capable of winning. Tonight they welcome back 2 key players, goalkeeper Jeremy Gavanon and striker Frederic Fouret.
Guingamp beat Laval last week and on paper they seem excellent value again but their motivation will not be high for this match. Their Brittany rivals, Brest are right in the relegation fight and if they were to lose this match then it could possible put Brest in all sorts of trouble. I’ve been reading on the Guingamp forum today that most of the fans actually want Clermont to win this game. I just don’t think the players motivation will be high but they are well capable of claiming a result. Its pretty hard to call so I cant bet, although I have a gut feeling that Clermont will win.

No bet
I was all over Guingamp at those odds until I read your post mate
thanks for the heads up

I'll still be adding the 1-2 CS to a lucky 15 though
with;
Caen 2-0
Gueugnon 1-0
L'Orient 1 or 2-0
and the battle at the top to end all square at 1-1 or something like!

VC offering 4.33 for LeHavre !!!! there's some pretty major variation in the odds here eh!
[trebles only!]-??
eyes peeled for arbs everyone

Ofcourse, I am just a rookie near you all French Experts but I just wanted to share that I have a feeling for tonight and I will follow my 6th sense for these games below ; (Odds are from Sportingbet)

Sedan v Valenciennes : X @2.75
Bastia v Le Havre : X @3.00
Caen v Chateauroux : Caen @1.40

This triple has the total odds @11.55 and worth a try for me

I can't sign on to VC for some reason meaty
I was certainly willing to run with that price and as they oblige the treble I was adding Caen and L'Orient as reasonably safe -

I know your not sure on Caen so maybe Gueugnon would be your third choice?

cheers and GL

well Caen are too short its that simple. the line I'd give is 1.65-3.95-6.50

Gueugnon are a good chance but the draw a danger

I think Laval can win today, team captain Buzare and Portugals forward Lopes back to squad..I think they will play with 3 forward..
Sete is relagated, but play for supportes..Cami and Leclerg back to squad,on the other hand Setes Coach is ex Laval player..1x2 bett look not good but Laval is a better team then Sete...Over is good bet for me too..

In Guingamp forums I cant see motivation for Guingamp..Reviere is sus. for Guingamp and good news for Clermont some players back to sguad and good motivation today..I bett Clermont today...But only small stakes..

I am full agree with Le Havre,Bastia have important missin..Le Havre without important md Ben Idir and Bertin..But they have the best forward Lesage-Troure

My other bett is today Dijon...Dijon is full squad,Livramento can play today..Creteil have some psorblems,Kimbembe,Aubanel,Terrier,MBodji missing today only good news is Gregori back..

Caen look good for me but today is Friday we can always look suprise..Caen have only Zubar missing,Chateraux have Hima miss end some other players..I cant see Chatte can stopped Samson and Compan..

Sedan is full squad,Valenciennes missing long time Dufresne,Savingny and the new missing is importand defence Mater...Very hard match but in the and I cant see Sedan can lose Va..Draw is possible but I think Sedan can win and I take it..

Grenoble and Guegnon look 1x in combos only but i dont like the odds..

Caen win..

Le Havre win...

Clermont win...

Laval win and Over...

Allez Sedan.....

GL

nice post Gittara

Laval is an interesting one. They have to win today really but they are a shit team. Sete are bad but Laval aren't much better. At the end of the day it could go either way but Laval's odds are riddiculous.

a massive 6 pointer at the bottom of the table, it could be quite exciting IMO and I'd considered going over 2.5 as well
