| Amiens v Dijon I think bookies have this match priced up quite well but there is still value on Dijon. They are the best away side in the division losing just 3 times on the road all season. They play Amiens tonight who still need 1 more point to be assured of survival. They are a good home team and have lost just 1 of their last 9 at Le Stade Licorne. It’s a tough one to call but I think fairly unlikely that Amiens will win. Dijon should be able to avoid defeat IMO so their price is a little high. In all reality, we should be given a (0) AH for this match but instead we are given the option of +0.25. Amiens miss 4 important players and that might be a key factor. I wouldn’t be surprised if the game ends in a draw but I’d take that no problem. The visitors are certain value IMO Bet Dijon +0.25 AH 1.86 Betdaq 3/10 |

| Brest v Caen This is a no bet match IMO. On paper, it looks as if Caen should win easily but football can often produce some surprise results. Both teams desperately need the win for many reasons. Brest are under massive pressure at the bottom of the table whilst Caen have to keep winning to maintain their promotion push. Brest have no win in 12 games and have failed to win in their last 8 at home, so a Caen win looks likely. Especially considering the fact that they are unbeaten in 13 games winning 8 consecutively. I probably should be betting on Caen but Brest are really going to be motivated in this game. Many times in the past some shocking results have come out of nowhere and IMO Brest are capable of drawing. A gut feeling tells me to keep away and I’m very unsure about which way the match will go. Caen will be a popular choice tonight but I’m not totally convinced they can get the business done. No bet |

| Chateauroux v Grenoble Chateauroux need just 1 more point to survive this season and they should be able to obtain it here. They play Gueugnon who are terrible way from home, scoring just 5 goals on the road all season. However, Chateauroux are hardly a convincing team and have had a terrible 2006 winning just 3 games. I think they will win this match but there is simply no value on them @ odds of 2.0. If I could find a -0.25 AH then I would take it, but no way can I go for the straight win. It’s a match to leave alone especially as a draw would suit the home team. No bet |

| Creteil v Grenoble This is very similar to the Chateauroux match in that I believe the home team will win. However there is no value in them @ just 2.0. I think they can claim the 3 points but no way can I bet on the straight win. I’d love a -0.25 AH but it cant be found anywhere yet to I’m forced to leave alone. In their last home fixture of the season, Creteil are sure to be fired up but they draw too many games so cover has to be taken with them. No bet |

| Guingamp v Sete This match should end up in a convincing Guingamp victory. They are far better than hopeless Sete and should collect 3 points without any problems. They have won their last 4 home matches and will want to impress their fans tonight. So far in the whole of 2006, they have conceded just 1 goal at Le Stade Roudorou and I cant see Sete breaching them ce soir. The visitors have lost a massive 14/18 away form home this season and are the only team yet to register a victory on their travels. They are relegated and motivation wont be high along with level of commitment. 1.57 is actually a decent price for Guingamp and I’m tempted to go 10/10 on them. But I don’t bet like that nowadays and instead I’ll opt for the AH -1 option @ 2.03. They hammered Amiens 6-0 here a few weeks ago and isn’t impossible of a repeat result tonight. Bet Guingamp -1 AH 2.03 Betdaq 6/10 |

| Laval v Clermont Clermont are an excellent bet here IMO and can obtain at least a draw. Their win last weekend against Guingamp has brought hope that they can still survive and this is an excellent opportunity to cash in on some points. Next week they play Sete so they have a much easier run in than Brest. Away from home they have won just 1 match all season and slumped to a massive 12 defeat. Those stats are bad but Laval are a poor team and miss many players for this match. At least 6-7 first team regulars are either injured or suspended and I cant see them getting much out of the game. +0.25 on Clermont is definitely worth taking IMO. I think the visitors will win but even a draw would make me happy. Home advantage is always a key factor but I’d be surprised to see Laval win this match. Bet Clermont +0.25 AH 1.89 Betdaq 4/10 |

| Le Havre v Istres This is a match that I believe Le Havre will win but I’ll refrain form betting on them. The Normans have lost just 2 of their last 16 games and are unbeaten in 10 at home. There’s no doubt that they have been of the strongest sides in 2006 and will probably win tonight against a poor Istres side. The visitors are good at home, but on the road they have already lost a massive 11 times this campaign. Le Havre’s odds are @ 1.99 which isn’t bad but I would prefer the -0.25 AH. I don’t bet straight wins very often in France now so I’m forced to leave the match alone. Striker Jean Leage is also an injury doubt for the home team so we have to be cautious anyway. He’s Le Havre’s best player and the ligue 2 top goalscorer this season. No bet |

| Montpellier v Bastia This is definitely the toughest match of the night to predict and a definite no bet game. Both teams have been dodgy recently and have struggled to win matches. Bastia travel here with a depleted squad and many youngsters will play. But these guys performed quite well against Le Havre last week and will want to impress again. Motivation will be high for the visitors but they don’t necessarily have the quality. Montpellier have won just 2 of their last 9 games and have looked pretty flat recently. Anything is possible with them at the moment. This match could go either way IMO and I’ll predict a draw but its impossible to bet on. No bet |

| Reims v Sedan There is excellent potential in this match and Reims look like a superb bet. They have little to play for now this season but this match means a lot to them. It’s a huge derby against rivals Sedan and they would love to put a dent in their promotion hopes. Sedan are way too short in this match and are priced @ just 2.0. The reason for this is because they ‘HAVE’ to win. But we have seen this scenario all to often in recent weeks and so many times these teams fail. Sedan haven’t impressed me much in their last few games and its possible they could get beat tonight. The positive aspect for the visitors is that they have lost just 1 of their last 11 away games but have drawn a few of these matches. However, The +0.5 offered on Reims is absurd and they are a strong home side. Defensively they are very solid and the players will be really fired up. A capacity crowd will be watching the game and tickets have already been sold out. Sedan will have a really tough test tonight and I think they could fail it. Bet Reims +0.5 AH 1.93 Pointbet 4/10 |

| Valenciennes v Lorient I’d love to see Lorient win this match but I cant see it happening. The value on Valenciennes is good and we can get a level ball AH. The home team are promoted and need just 1 more point to be crowned champions. They will want to finish the season in style tonight and go out with a win in front of their home fans. They come into the game on the back of 8 consecutive wins and it would take a brave match to back against them. Lorient are unbeaten in 8 games but I doubt they can win this match. There’s something not quite convincing about them IMO and I think they could fall at the final hurdle in the battle for promotion. a number of players are injury doubts for this match and they are definitely worth opposing. Les Merlus could easily obtain a draw but I’d be very surprised if they won. That’s why the DNB option on Valenciennes is very good. Bet Valenciennes (0) AH 1.92 Pointbet 4/10 |

| so we are in for an exciting evening and for once all 10 matches are played together at the same time. At the moment I only bet on half the games but that may change depending on market movement during the day. The best bet of the night is Guingamp -1 as they should be able to hammer Sete. CS predictions Amiens 1-1 Dijon Brest ?-? Caen Chateauroux 1-0 Gueugnon Creteil 1-0 Grenoble Guingamp 3-0 Sete Laval 1-2 Clermont Le Havre 2-0 Istres Montpellier ?-? Bastia Reims 0-0 Sedan Valenciennes 1-0 Lorient GL all tonight ![]()

| Dijon(+1/4) @1.75-1.80 should be a good bet. This is typical level ball match in my eyes, with big chances finishing in draw, but Dijon are natural favorites here. They were simply great away from home this season, and with few good results lately I won't pay much atention to their probably lost chances for promotion. Amiens on the other hand not that bad lately, although they managed to beat only bottom table sides (Sete and Laval at home). In theory they need one more point to secure Ligue2 football next season and I even think they could make it tonight. I really dont see Dijon losing this one, and 0:1/4 AH is completely wrong in my opinion. I think that Reims could take something against favorized Sedan. Sedan are on bad run at the end of the season and I wouldnt be suprised if they fail to win promotion to Ligue1 after all. They were easily beaten by promotion rivals Valenciennes in last round (0-3 at home), before that they were held to draws against Amiens and Laval, and I cant see them as that big favorites in this match. Reims plays for nothing but pride and win against big favorites, but they held Sedan to draw in reverse fixture, and they can do it again. Reims(+1/2) @1.85-1.90 is my bet here.

| I don't understand people like meatmen in analysis like this one.I read it for a long time and it was very good but today ![]() First bookmakers are here and make results, second clubs have some relation that we must read between results. So,valenciennes are on holiday when you look at table. On the other hand Caen is on the way in first leauge and Valencienness will help them with win.Yes,this is option. They take 6 points this season from Caen and in cup lose 5-0??? SO<<<< brest-caen 2 VALENCIENNES-Lorient 1,Reims-Sedan x becouse enough 1 points no more no less.motpellier -bastia 1 |

| I said Caen would be a popular choice today becasue everything statitically points to them. However there is little value IMO and sometimes that little bit of extra knowledge can be useful. I still firmly beleive Brest can claim something tonight and if Caen win then so what. Fine by me as I won't lose anything ![]()
