| Dijon (0) AH @ 2.01 188bet 5/10 Dijon have definitely been one of the better teams in recent weeks, certainly at home where they are unbeaten for over 3 months. Les Rouges obtained a vital win on Friday night away to Boulogne, and that result enabled them to move 2 points clear of the relegation zone. If they could win this match tonight and they will have a 5 point cushion which would probably be enough to see them to safety. We saw a couple of weeks ago that Dijon have the potential to beat a promotion challenging team, and they all but achieved it facing Grenoble - somehow only managing to draw 0-0 in a match they dominated. If they do that again tonight then surely they can get the 3 points against under pressure Troyes. The visitors have seriously cracked in recent weeks and haven’t won any of their last 6 games. Performances have been really poor and coach Denis Troch appears to be choking severely in this situation. They were fortunate to draw on Friday night away in Niort, and now this is a very similar match. They really need to obtain a win in what will be a vital game for the team. But I have no confidence in Troyes anymore and I think they will struggle here. They have played relatively poorly on their travels all season and I don’t believe they can be relied upon away from home. The force is with Dijon more and I can see them getting the victory tonight. They don’t deserve to be 2nd favourites and I’ll willingly snap up this 0AH @ 1.98. Bastia -0.25 AH @ 2.08 10bet 4/10 They’ve only won one of their last 9 matches but I’ve decided to side with Bastia in this tricky looking fixture. Things haven’t gone very well for the Corsicans in the last few weeks and they have nothing left to play for now. I’m sure coach Bernard Casoni will want them to finish the season strongly though ,and end the year on a positive note. We saw some signs on Saturday that they might do this when they produced a decent performance away to Sedan, certainly deserving a draw and possibly could’ve nicked a win had they taken their chances. Bastia should be fairly fresh here because they have only played 1 match in the last 11 days. It also must be remembered that 3 important players who were suspended for the Sedan match (Andre, Jau and Meniri) should all return for tonight’s clash and should be in good condition. Amiens have played a lot of matches recently, and they’ll have a long plane ride down to Corsica. They showed signs of weariness against Clermont in a game they were lucky to draw. I just have a feeling that Bastia will have a physical advantage for this game and it could prove decisive. I think there is some decent value on the hosts with this -0.25 AH, so I’m willing to bet on them. My record in Bastia matches hasn’t been particularly good this season, and they have let me down too many times. However, I feel they can get the points tonight. |

| Back to basics tonight, no silly staking, no silly over bets, just back to normal And more discipline, I will say no bet in the Le Havre-Sedan match Always towards the end of the season I end up betting in matches that I shouldn't. I don't know why this happens, but I just forget basic things sometimes and lose focus. Le Havre just need a point to confirm promotion. I think they have a strong chane of winning, bit I'm not interested in them @ odds of 1.70. Sedan will be tired after a tough period of matches, but are a decent side and I'm sure will fight. GL all tonight ![]() |

| 1. Le Havre 33 - 70 2. Nantes 34 - 67 3. Grenoble 34 - 58 4. Troyes 33 - 55 First, second and third automatically promoted. And yes, one point will be enough for Le Havre. Le Havre and Troyes have 5 match to play. Le Havre's players seem to be very motivated for this one. Personnaly, i think that they can offer a new victory in front of their fans. It's party time for them ans Sedan will be tired. But yes, odds are low and Sedan is a good team, who will play French cup semi-finals... (@1.935 -0.75 Pinnacle). If i've to bet, i will take... over 2.25 which is well paied, as always in this ligue (@2 Pinnacle). Very very very mini-low stakes (just for fun) cause weather in the north of France is very bad (rain, cold, fog) and Sedan didn'nt concede a goal since two matchs. | Soccer - Dijon/Troyes - total Over 2 (-115) for the regulation time held on Apr 22 at 1:00pm [pending] I would expect both teams to press under their particular circumstances...and actually, Dijon's last 0-0 game is really our of character for them at home this season. Prior to that they had 10 straight games get to 2 goals, including seven overs. Troyes is more of a home overs team, but their games of late have seen many defensive lapses. I will be surprised if they league's run of low-scoring matches continues.

Disappointing to see Dijon blow a 2-0 lead, conceding right at the end there. Still I didn't actually lose anything on that bet although it does leave a bitter taste. Bastia winning in the last minute made up for this and I end up the night in profit. I'll say congratulations to Le Havre on acheiving their promotion. I still believe they have beena fairly lucky sdie this season.= and have won a lot of games that they didn't really deserve to, much in the way that Metz and Strasbourg did last year With no Hoarau next season (going to PSG) I'd be surprised if they manage to avoid relegation. They will have to buy wisely in the transfer market to stand any chance. | |
