Bordeaux -0.75 AH @ 2.09 Canbet 5/10 Bordeaux still have a faint hope to win the title and must win here today if they are to keep any dream alive. it’s a key match against a direct rival at the top of the table and important that they get 3 points. Bordeaux realistically know that they wont win the ligue, but still must ensure that they finish 2nd and end up in an automatic CL position. Nancy are their biggest challengers to this spot but now they can put some breathing space between themselves and Pablo Correia’s men. I must say I’m pretty surprised that Nancy have managed to last this long at the top of the table and I still believe that ultimately Marseille should get 3rd position instead of them. Victory today would be a huge result for the visitors but I cant see it happening. They’ve drawn quite a few games away from home this season, but failed to win many. We saw a few weeks ago St Etienne pretty much hammer them 4-0 and their performances on their travels have been far from convincing. Bordeaux are exceptionally strong at home, now having won 7 of their last 7 at Le Parc Lescure. They are the better team and should be able to create enough chances to win. I can see this being a fairly comfortable win in the end, maybe 2-0 or 3-0. Nancy have struggled to score goals away from home this season and I don’t expect them to cause Bordeaux too many problems at the back. I’d prefer to take a -0.5 line, but there is more value on this -0.75 AH @ 2.12.

I hope and think Lens will win it, but I'm not betting on the match. The Coupe De La Ligue has treated me well this season but sadly this competition has been much more poorer for me. Anything could happen in this potentially volatile game In Ligue 1, Bordeaux beat Nancy anyway so I'm quite happy Merci to the referee Eric Poulat who was very much in favour of Bordeaux today. He gave a penalty and sent off 2 Nancy players (in addition to many yellows) I'm certainly delighted to see Nancy coach, Pablo Correia pissed off for once. Th cnut couldn't resist a few digs at the ref come the final whistle, racing across the pitch to speak to him. Shut up you annoying little fat man ![]()

lille Auxerre marked three successive wins in February and these nine points saw them escape the relegation zone, but they have gone winless since. First they lost at Velodrom after a lot of fighting, then followed two draws and a defeat last week . Lille gathered pace and they are in a three-win run. This is a fine opportunity to extend the run and approach the European zone. Although they no longer have the squad as they did few seasons ago when they played in the Champions League, they showed that they have the quality to measure with the top teams, except Lyon. lille is in form motivated in from of their fans can win this what you think meatman?

T Maoulida 1st goalscorer @ 7/1 & Anytime scorer @ 3.75 (inside 90 mins) I've had a small nibble of this. He's in form, looks sharp and is confident, every chance of scoring IMO. Also had a bit of K Manganne ATS @ 6.50 - another who has a habit of getting on the scoreheet for Lens

PSG won the cup final with a last second penalty I don't really feel they deserved to win anything this season but I'm pleased for Pauleta in what could probably be his last showcase match. Some teams just have a habit of winning cups and PSG are a prime example.

Metz (0) AH @ 1.99 188bet 4/10 Metz have lost their last 2 games but have actually been playing some decent football recently. They know that they are effectively relegated but new coach Yvon Pouliquen has forced the team to keep fighting hard and retain some of its pride. This week, Metz were deducted a further point due to a racist incident against Valenciennes which they have appealed against. Metz have an excellent opportunity to win today against a Toulouse outfit that is desperately struggling. I honestly feel that Les Violets are heading down into ligue 2 now because they just don’t look like they are capable of the fight needed to avoid the drop. The visitors haven’t won any of their last 12 games and recent performances simply haven’t been good enough. The make matters worse, they miss their best striker, Johann Elamnder to injury today. He’s been nowhere near his best in the last few months but this is the sort of match he should’ve done well in against a fairly poor defence. Metz have caused some problems to teams recently and they can get the 3 points today IMO. Toulouse pretty much have to win, so might leave a few spaces at the back for Les Grenats to exploit. Odds of 1.99 on a 0AH are simply way too big. Sochaux -0.25 AH @ 1.88 188bet 5/10 This would be a fine time for Sochaux to get a victory and ease themselves clear of the relegation zone. The Montbelliard club have been in excellent form recently and finally their luck turned last week when they beat Marseille 1-0 away from home. They’ve drawn too many in front of their own fans, but I feel they should be able to obtain 3 points facing a Nice side that just hasn’t been ‘right’ in the last few weeks. Its almost as if they don’t want to finish in Europe and don’t seem to care as much anymore, motivation levels are maybe a bit lower. The south coast side haven’t lost away from home in absolutely ages but I feel its about time that this long run ended. Sochaux are playing some of the best football in ligue 1 at the moment and with more luck would’ve won many more games than they have. Now I think the force is with them more and they can be confident about getting out of trouble. Pressure levels aren’t as intense which is sure to help, the home crowd should be more receptive as well. I’m happy to take the hosts on this -0.25 AH line. Lille -0.5 AH @ 1.90 Stanjames 5/10 Lille are playing some great stuff at the moment and look a strong bet to be the team that can finish in at least 5th position. They’ve lost just 1 of their last 13 games and are in the middle of a 3 game winning streak. Claude Puel’s men are certainly in form and should be able to see off Auxerre who have come under pressure again thanks to a poor set of recent results. They aren’t a team I rate very highly anyway, especially away from home where they can never be relied upon. The relegation zone is starting to catch up on them now and there are sure to be a few nerves within the squad. Lille are rather irresistible now and are firing on all cylinders. I’m pretty sure they will get the 3 points here and although odds of 1.90 aren’t especially appealing, I’m willing to take them.

Caen +0.75 AH @ 1.84 Pinnacle 3/10 This is a bit of a dangerous bet but I think Caen can avoid defeat here today. The Normans crucially ended a run of 10 games without a win last week when they thumped Monaco 4-1. They produced an excellent 2nd half performance in that game and looked really good going forward. The win was a big step towards survival but they are fully aware that they need more points to ensure they stay in ligue 1. Caen only have 3 remaining home games which is a bit of a worry and there is an urgency to get a few more points away from home just to help ease their worries. They face trips to both Lyon and Bordeaux soon so its vital they can maybe get something out of this encounter. Le Mans claim they want to fight towards claiming a European spot, but I’m not convinced the club is that bothered about finishing 4th or 5th. Like a lot of sides in recent weeks, I just don’t feel three is that much motivation now that they have definitely secured top flight status for another year. They’ve only won 2 of their last 7 matches at home and often only seem to play well when they are facing bigger clubs. I’ve got a feeling that this match will end up in a low scoring draw and that Caen can get something . This bet is a bit of a gamble, but I’m willing to take it. Marseille (0) AH @ 1.99 Pinnacle 3/10 Ok I’ve thought long and hard about this match and I believe that Marseille will win it. The last 2 weeks haven’t been the best for OM and they suffered in all 3 competitions they remained in. Now they have only the ligue to think about and its essential that they can grab the 3rd position. Saturdays result was ideal - Nancy losing in Bordeaux meaning now that Marseille are still only 6 points behind the Lorraine side. Victory today would put them just 3 behind Correia’s men and that’s a gap that is certainly one they could make up. It must be remembered that before this bad period of results, Marseille were playing some great football and I have a feeling they can return to their good style of play. Key striker, Mamadou Niang returns for this match and that’s a real boost for coach Eric Gerets. I’ve also got the feeling that Cedric Carrasso might be reinstated as goalkeeper following Steve Mandanda’s howler last week. Lorient are unbeaten at home in 11 games and are in good form, but I just cant see them keeping this up for too much longer. They are now safe from relegation and have no real need to push themselves any further . Today they miss key striker, Vahirua, and without him they sometimes look like a different team. Marseille really need to win, a draw isn’t going to do them much good, so I expect them to be positive. It’s a dangerous bet, but I’m willing to gamble on the visitors. Lyon -0.5 AH @ 2.15 Betdirect 3/10 Lyon are a form team at the moment and its probably a good time to be betting on them. Bordeaux’s win on Saturday means that the gap at the top of the table is now down to only 6 points, although with victory here, Les Gones can make it 9 once again. Its important that Alain Perrin’s men don’t take their foot off the gas, especially because they face a really tough trip to Marseille next weekend, a game they could definitely struggle to win. Valenciennes aren’t a bad team and upset Bordeaux in their last match by beating them here 3-1. Les Stade Nungesser is a bit of a fortress, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the players became a little awestruck against Lyon. Last year this fixture ended 0-0 but the champions are playing much better now than they were back then. Karim Benzema is out injured for a few weeks, but Fred has been looking really good recently and should cause some problems to the VA defence. Lyon’s passing has been top notch recently and they have really impressed me since they were KO’d of the CL by Man United. I think they should have too much quality for Valenciennes to deal with. So although this might be a tough match, I’m willing to have some smaller

modo what do u mean 'maybe in turkey ' ulan ??? this is a platform of brotherhood no need to offend people and their nations ... or r u metz fan ??? if so i will have to deduct 1 point out of you ... anyway what i heard is coz of metz racist action last week their 1 point was deducted and they were penalised to play this week's match without any fans which is against toulouse ..this may affect the team's performance ... for today's matches i will take OVERS Valenciennes-lyon over 2.5 and lorient-marseille over 2.5 in both of this games the good visitors play against good home teams ..and this will cause both teams to score and over 2.5 what is strange improvement so far is the leagues which were over kings so far been under queens ... like germany II ..it is hard to see over games like in the past on the other hand leauges like france ,italy even portugal been over kings .. | |
