Reasoning Nancy obtained in last 3 away matches 7 points, while Sochaux won last 4 home matches. We can say both teams crosses good periods.Tonight I expect a balanced match and I am sure a draw would be satisfied these teams. They are no worries for relegation,so the meeting is somewhat without high stake.Draw my pick.
I have followed ure posts latley and 90% of the time u give poor tips the worst on this forum u always put strength 10/10 when really u should say ur only guessing

Sochaux are on a decent run of form at the Bonal and will be full of confidence after beating Le Mans in the cup in midweek. They seem to have added a decent striker in Ideye Brown during the transfer window and he'll be buoyed by his two goals in midweek. They also have two important players returning to the side in Yassin Mikari (DF) and Jacques Faty (DF). Les doubistes are on a fine five-game winning streak at home and will look to continue this. As for Nancy, they've won five times on the road and can't be taken lightly. They seem to be better away from the Marcel-Picot, which is unusual for them. Still, I think they are pretty ordinary away outfit that Sochaux will look at to take three points from. Defender Andre Luiz is suspended, so they'll need to reshuffle at the back. The partial draw cover at 1.84 offers good value, so I'm happy enough to back the on-form hosts at a decent price.
Bet strength: 4pts

Nice vs Lille: Lille at 1.90
Nice are in a real pickle right now. They lost the Cote d'Azur derby last week to Monaco and it seems like they have real problems in defence. That's not what you want when coming up against Lille. They have one of the best attacking lines in the league and are very tough to stop in full flow. Eden Hazard (AM) is a slight doubt, but they have adequate cover in Ludovic Obraniak. Nice are on a ten-match winless streak and although that will end soon, I'm not sure it'll be here. Oneyuchi Apam returns to the defence but Renato Civelli is suspended at the back, while a number of players are doubts, including key striker Loic Remy. Lille hit a dip in January but won well at home to Lens and will look to kick on again. With players like Gervinho and Tulio De Melo in their ranks - and don't forget Pierre-Alain Frau - I reckon they could be too hot for Nice.
Bet strength: 4pts

Boulogne vs Montpellier: Montpellier -0.25 AH at 1.86
This price is tumbling so if you want them, take them now. I hummed and hawed over this one and eventually decided to take MHSC on lower stakes. Boulogne got a great 0-0 at Bordeaux last week and are starting to improve, but I still think their defence is porous and they lack a cutting edge up front. That's something Montpellier have, with Souleymane Camara, Hugo Montano and Tino Costa. Confidence is high after beating Marseille last week. They still miss Nenad Dzodic in defence but Garry Bocaly comes in to make his debut. USBCO still have a number of injuries and they are second bottom for a reason. When you consider this is second bottom against second top, the price is ridiculous. Montpellier can't keep up this form forever but they should have too much for Boulogne and are the more confident side. I have to back them here.
Bet strength: 3pts

That's all from me. I was mighty close to taking Lens outright against Le Mans, but a few things stopped me. Le Mans rested their whole first team for the game in midweek in preparation for this, and although they've lost every trip away from the Sarthe, I reckon they are due to pick up something. I may review it and take Lens, but right now there are too many risks. Auxerre hold some appeal but Grenoble have no pressure and could be dangerous. Rennes-Bordeaux is a toughie, while Lorient, at PSG, were interesting on the plus, I couldn't back them with any certainty.

Bonne chance,
Atko
Well, the French rot stopped to a certain extent. Montpellier won 2-0, so that's a winner. Sochaux is a half-loss after a 1-1 draw (again, shows the merit of having some draw cover). Well done AntoNesCu for calling that one right. Lille drew 1-1, well done to marseille on that. I watched that game. The Nice goal came from a Landreau error, but after that Lille were the better team and should've won it. Just one of those things. Annoyed I didn't take Lens after fancying it all week.

A 3pt loss for the evening, which makes it a pretty bad weekend in France thus far. You get them though. C'est la vie

Last night wasn't the best in L1 but it brought more success than the previous in L2 Anyway, one tiddler for me today in L1. Small stakes advised.

Saint-Etienne vs Monaco: Under 2 goals AH at 2.04
As much as I foresee a revival at Saint-Etienne, I still wonder where the goals are going to come from. They lost a key attacker in Ilan last week to West Ham and although Boubacar Sanogo and Gonzalo Bergessio look decent attackers, they've only scored four goals between them in L1 all season. ASSE are perilously close to the relegation zone andf will look to move away from there. As a result, I expect them to be quite cagey against a dangerous Monaco side who have plenty of goals in them on their day through Nene and Chung-yoo Park. Monaco, however, tend to be a bit more conservative away from home and I don't expect them to lead a cavalry charge either. In their last six away games, only one (a 3-1 defeat to Valenciennes) has broken the line. ASSE aren't particularly potent at home either. In their last six home league games, none have gone over two goals. The stats speak well for this too: 68% of ASSE's and 59% of Monaco's games have been under 2.5 goals. I'm willing to take slightly enhanced odds for the under 2 line. If there's two goals, I get my stake back, but I really can see this being a low scoring game. Small stakes though. I did consider Monaco (0) at 2.11 as they are in great form, but the Geoffrey Guichard is a tough place to go. A tight match in my opinion - one that could go either way.
Bet strength: 3pts

The other two games did hold some appeal. Here's a word on them - no bets in these for me though

Toulouse vs Lyon
Lyon know how important a win is after Bordeaux and Lille slipped up yesterday, but they are without Jeremy Toulalan, their strongest midfielder, and they still seem susceptible to conceding goals. Toulouse played 120 minutes on Wednesday but they are a stuffy side against the bigger boys and tend to raise their game.

Marseille vs Valenciennes
Marseille welcome Valenciennes in another must-win match. They should be capable of seeing off an out-of-sorts Valenciennes but Philippe Montanier's men have posted some good results away from home against big teams (1-0 at Bordeaux, 3-0 at Rennes). They are capable of causing a surprise. Handicap is far too skinng to contemplate.

Bonne chance,
Atko

Yes they can and the bookies already knew this when theyve released the odds .

Toulouse v Lyon - @3.20 ladbrokes
Tasty price for backing Toulouse here .Despite their good apparition from their from the winter breack , Lyon still look shaky at some times and that was obviouse in the last game with P.S.G. when they had to come back from a goal down to win that game . A goal down with Lorient also , the game before so i believe that the omens are not in their favor no matter how much they will need this 3 points tonight . Toulouse are with a winning mentality and they will put a lot of presure on Lyon with Gignac infrount . I remenber the lost game with Bordeaux and they were looking very dangerous upfront , all the time + they are on a bitt of form right now and they will raise their game play , considering this meeting with Lyon a challenge to prove themselves .

St. Etienne v Monaco- draw @3.20 canbet
I was pondering backing Monaco cause they are in a good run actually with 4 wins one by another , but i just envision this game being a tight one and thus the value will be on the draw . Its really hard to elaborate a case to defend le verts but i am basing my decision on the fact that they will not put hands down on the salvation perspective and will hustle for every ball and situation... were Monaco wouldnt feel to comfortable to play their usual game in this case , when they are under the lens .

Reasoning Toulouse was too inconsistent this season to be higher than place 10, where they are now. They got eliminated from the cup in midweek by Marseille and now it's getting obvious that they wont qualify for EL next season unless they start winning very soon. Lyon is surely boosted by surprising defeat by Bordeaux yesterday, with todays win they would come only 6 pts behind les girondins, so i expect them to be more offensive tonight. Both teams have great strikers, Gignac on one, and in-form Gomis on other so we might see some goals here. Odds are way too high for sure, i tend to back such odds when Lyon plays away and i'm usually right. GL.

Reasoning I dont agree with this line at all. Lacombe is doing great job at Monaco, they have won 3/3 after the winter break and i dont see them as dogs in this match against struggling ASSE side who are again one of the major dissapointments this season. Hosts are too inconsistent to be thrusted against rising sides such as ASM.Big value in these odds. GL.
