AZ v Groningen

Kew Jaliens 89th minute consolation in Groningen last week could be the crucial goal of the tie. Before that AZ were dead and buried at 3-0 and heading out but now they have a chance of qualifying as away goals count double. It was a tough ask going to Groningen as they've been in mighty form this season as have AZ in Alkmaar to be honest. Groningens troubles this season have been on the road with just the 3 wins to their name. The difference in points during the league period is indication enough that there is a difference in class and AZ will be hoping for the Ajax bound Kenny Perez to help them out along with top scorer Shota Arveladze. As for the 2 intertoto games i'm going to be betting on the overs I think and an NEC win. Both sides I fancy to win at home but following the 4-4 game anything is possible. Never known anything like it before! NEC won well at Heracles 2-0 and are in the best position of the 4 sides and will surely finish off the tie today in Nijmegen. RKC have struggled for goals since Hoogendorp went to the Bundesliga and when 4-0 down at home to Vitesse they must of surely of thought they were out but a hat-trick from Youssouf Hersi amazingly brought the game back to 4-4! If you fancy a repeat of that you get 200 with expekt!

They're the team I feel for.
AZ have been outstanding this season, more of a challenge to PSV than Ajax have been.
Ajax on their 2006 showing could possibly go well next season, have Jaap Stam and Kenny Perez from AZ coming on Bosmans. Worryingly for Ajax fans is that they may be interested in signign Aston Villa's Lee Hendrie!!!!
