@ fist sight - Liberec look a good price (IF the gamre goes ahead - severe snow forecast and it's in the north)

Sparta @ such odds is a swerve at best, if not a lay - I know the guests are Slovacko - a poorish away outfit, but you can't back a team deep in sh*t @ such short odds, even @ home.

Default Bosnian league

I found this competeton at Betandwin and i will write something about games of this weeken:

Zeljeznicar - Celik Zenica

This is derby between two old rivals,Zeljo is from bosnian capital Sarajevo and Celik is from Zenica. In first part of season result from Zenica was 0-0 but after game there was a total fight between suporters of this two club and one of Zeljos supporters dided in that fight. Also one of supporters from Celik died also after this game and this two clubs are more big rivals from last game then before.
Zeljo is on the 7th position and Celik is on the 10th position.celik has a big trouble to take points from Sarajevo in last years and they alway lose points there.I think that samw situation will be now too.Celik already lost in Sarajevo against FK Sarajevo with 6-1 and i think that same situation we can expect again.
All in all my prediction here is home win with 10/10 BAW 1.25

Zrinjski Mostar - Buducnost Banovici

It is a big class diference herer.Zrinjski is actuel champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina and they have a great team for Bosnians conditions. This is one of richest clubs in Bosnia and they play in Mostar with big numer of supporters.Everything except a clear home win here is a big suprise.
Zrinjski already teo times won Buducnost with 2-0 in Mostar and same situation is very posible here again
my prediction: home win 10/10 BAW 1.10

Posusje - Sloboda Tuzla

Posusje is on the 13th position with 18 points and Sloboda is on the 9th position with 21 points. Both teams are in cris and dont play great. This is a grewat chance for Posusje to take a new three points at home coz they are very close to relegation zone.
this are last results of Posusje at home and i think that wil win this game again:
PosusjeZeljeznicar 1 - 0
PosusjeOrasje1 - 0
PosusjeJedinstvo Bi1 - 1
PosusjeLeotar4 - 2
PosusjeZrinjski2 - 1
PosusjeRadnik Bn0 - 0
PosusjeZepce4 - 1

my prediction: home win 8/10 BAW 1.30

Orasje - Modrica

derby of the north.Orasje lost last game in Zenica and now looking for new three points. This is a grat chance against rival from Modrica.
my prediction: home win BAW 7/10

I forgot to say thay more then 70% games in bosnian league finish like a home in.That is a golden rule there. It is normal league where better teams normally take points in away games. This is post-war efect there and it is almost imposible for clubs from croatians parts of Bosnia to take point or points in another two part of Bosnia.Same situation is with serbs clubs inBosnia wich play in teritory where live muslims or croats. This is very strange situation and if you compare results of last years from this league you will easy understand what i talk about coz there maybe 80% of games finish like a home win !!!

good luck

Croatian Prva HNL

Hajduk - Slaven

I really don't know why was this march removed by some bookies. Hajduk needs one point to secure their play-off spot so maybe the bookies thought Hajduk will arrange a draw with Slaven? Nonsense! There's nothing to calculate. Coach Bonacic already said:'We'll go for the win. We must seek victory so that in worst case we take one point.'

Both clubs improved their performances lately. Hajduk after unlucky defeat against Rijeka showed improvements defeating Inter(home, 3:2) and Varteks(away, 1:0). While their home win was some kind of lucky, against Varteks they looked pretty good, solid in defence, tough in midfield, and making chances in attack. I'd say they finally look like a team. Their only problem is lack of fitness, their gameplay simply collapses in last 20 minutes. Inter scored 2 goals in last 15 minutes and almost a third, and Varteks had big pressure, but goalkeeper Pletikosa was great against them.
Similar thing with Slaven. After a defeat against Inter(away, 1:2) they won their last two matches at home. First against Varteks(home, 4:3, crazy match) and then Osijek(home, 3:1). Their new coach, Scoria, made positive impact on them, so if they continue in this way, they'll surely get out of the relegation zone.

Hajduk will miss attacker Blatnjak(goalscorer against Varteks), while Slaven will miss midfielder Poldrugac, and defender Kurilic, both importatnt and standard players.

Slaven is coming to Split without imperative, but with a motive. Although they need points, besides this match they still have 30 points to collect in the play-out league. I don't see them taking anything in Split. Home win, high stakes.

1 8/10

Note: Match was removed by most of the bookies. I think, Bet365, SportingBet and few other still offer this match.

Looks like this one is not available anywhere on the Internet. Just one of my local books offers 1,50. Is it still worth a dabble?

I think yes...although there are some rumours that this match will be fixed. which is hard to believe for me. I personally am big Hajduk fan, and it's hard for me to believe that Hajduk will fix this match. As I wrote on another forum:

1) Hajduk is chasing third place on the table which is not so far. 3rd spot provides UEFA Cup participation, and Hajduk has tough task in Cup. They must beat Rijeka in two games to reach cup finals, which also leads to UEFA Cup.

2) As I said, there's 30 more points for Slaven & Hajduk to win, so this match is not by any means crucial for Slaven. Yes, they need points, but it's not crucial for them.

3) Concerning Hajduk's interest in UEFA Cup like I mentioned, why would they fix a draw with Slaven if Hajduk need points?

All in all, why would they sell a match if they are chasing euro cups? I think these rumours are just - rumours.

Odds in local croatian bookie Favorit:
Hajduk - Slaven Belupo15:001.602.309.50

Limvolikce, I agree with you about prediction of Bosnian league, and also everything you said is correct

There are the table of Bosnian Premier league after 17 round:

1. Siroki 40 Champions league qualification
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Sarajevo 35 Uefa-cup qualification + cup winner
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Modrica 34 Intertoto-cup
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Zrinjski 32
5. Slavija 29
6. Orasje 26
7. Zeljeznicar 24
8. Buducnost 24
9. Sloboda 21
10. Celik 20
11. Radnik 20
12. Zepce 18
13. Posusje 18
14. Jedinstvo 16
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
15. Travnik 15 relegatation to second league
16. Leotar 14

This week will be played this games:

Zeljeznicar – Celik
Zeljeznicar is one of the famous club in Bosnia, but this season they didn't play very well. They have some young players and they expect to be good next season. Celik is also big Bosnian club and they have the same problem like Zeljeznicar. Zeljeznicar is favourite and I expect home win, but the price is too small. Celik coach, ex Zeljeznicar's coach hope that weather will not be good , and he think that Celik can take point. Whatever, I predict home win.

Jedinstvo – Travnik
This is the match very important for both team, especially for home team. Both team are on the botton of the table (14 and 15 position). I predict home win.

Orasje – Modrica
Very hard game. Modrica play very well this season. They are at 3 position and they will fight for Uefa-cup. Also Orasje is very strong team at the home. My prediction is home win.

Zrinjski – Buducnost
Zrinjski fight for Uefa-cup (they are at 4 position). Buducnost is a medium strong team in Bosnian league and they are in the midle of the table. Zrinjski is very professional club. Zrinjski's coach is Blaz Sliskovic, coach of Bosnian national squad. Clear home win

Leotar – Siroki
Siroki is the strongest club, and they are at first position of the table. They play very well, and they also played very well in Uefa-cup this year (of course, good for Bosnian club). Now, they have advantage of 5 points from second team. Leotar is in last placed team, and they must win every home match. They bought some new players and they expect to win this game. Very hard to predict, but I think that Leotar not to lose.

Posusje – Sloboda
Posusje have won just one points in last two games, and now they are at 13 position. They play good at home, and I think that they will be win this game. So, home win.

Radnik – Slavija
Also, very hard match. Slavija take 4 points in last two game (including the draw away against F.K. Sarajevo). Now, thay are at 5 position, but it's very hard to believe that they can take a place for Uefa-cup. Radnik lost their last two game (including home lose against Siroki), and if they don't won this game, they will be in the danger position, and will be very hard to survive in Premier league. So, my prediction is home win.

Zepce – Sarajevo
Sarajevo and Zeljeznicar are the famous clubs in Bosnia. (They are also city rivals). Sarajevo hope that they can won the championship this season, but for now they are 5 points behind Siroki. Zepce is now one of the lowest team. A lot of key-players left the club, and Zepce could be one of two teams, which will be relegate from Premier league. Sarajevo is in must win situation, they are more quality, and I think that they will win. So, away win.

Good luck!

On Saturday, Liberec did the job - thanks to the 90th minute goal (in the TV match yet again, a little "tradition" of them now it looks) and the Zlin match was abandoned after all.

I'm pretty sure there will be more postponed matches tomorrow as it started snowing quite heavily in the evening and even the streets in the centre of Prague are well covered with snow now - not to mention other regions where the impact of such a situation is usually much worse.

The brno match also off which leaves just Boleslav, Plzen and Most and I'm pretty sure one or more of them will be abandoned as well - still snowing and the whole country dovered with 20+ cm of snow - the major airport of Ruzyne not working and quite a few regions don't recommend to even go out.

On Monday, Sparta was piss poor yet again, scored just once (from the penalty spot) and struggled to finish off 9-men opponent. Hmmm... yet again something to bear in mind - Sparta a 1/3 shot today - com'on, would lay at this price all day.

Ostrava - Sparta

Monday match of Czech Gambrinus league.

Ostrava hosting Sparta.

Ostrava is doing poor lately, loosing their last 4 games. So they are on 12th spot on the table and pretty much in danger zone.

Sparta is having one of the worst seasons ever, and they also are not in great position with 24pts.
But lately they are showing some signs of better form.

All in all Sparta is small favourite today, but still I don't see easy game for them.

I decided to try this crazy bet with low stakes. 1/2, HT/FT, betfair@30.

And let's see if it can happen.

GL~

Well, Sparta won, but I'd like to hear where you've seen the sighns of their better form of late - even today they won mainly thanks to playing against ten men a lot of the time, although this was by far their best performance in the spring, unlike the performances before
