GBA - Dender

Dender did not really impress in their first league match. Their away record is quite poor and they miss some experience in their team.

GBA grabbed a point last week in Genk, nice result, although Genk could and should have finished them in the 1st half. GBA's home record is very solid and in their first game in front of their home crowd, I am quite sure they want to deliver a superb performance.

GBA 1@1.65 (Bwin) stake: 4/10

Charleroi - Roeselare:

Same thing as the previous match actually. Roeselare has a really poor away record and bought a lot of new players that still need to find their place in the team.

Charleroi did not deserve to lose last week in Westerlo, so they'll be fired up to win this one.

Charleroi 1@1.60 (Bwin) stake: 4/10

Anderlecht - Gent:

Pfff, the odds are quite ridiculous. Anderlecht won last week but they search their good form and without their main strikers (injured), I think Gent really has a chance here.

Gent played a great first match where they slaughtered Bergen. Of course, Bergen's defense was also an important factor (as it was quite unstable), but Gent showed they are ready for the championship and a lot is expected from this club.

I would put some small stakes on a victory of Gent as it has great value

Gent 2@5.75 (Unibet) stake: 1.5/10

a bit safer is x2 and if you decide to play Anderlecht, take HCX@3.80 as odds of 1.65 for the home win does not represent value.

Lokeren - Tubize

The home team is obliged to get rid of their label as 'grey team' as last season, they "succeeded' in getting the most draws. I think, today they will get the chance to show something by beating promoted team Tubize.

Tubize was quite poor in their first match and I can't shake off the thought that they are the weaker brother in this league. A lot of players left and reinforcements aren't that promising.

Lokeren 1@ 1.68 (Unibet) stake: 3/10

also Under 2.5 would be a good option as both teams lack offensive power.

Kortrijk - Cercle Brugge

This is a West Flemish derby between 2 attractive and offensive teams.

Kortrijk got a point in their first game away at Roeselare. They delivered some nice play but showed some defencive weaknesses.

Cercle got beaten by Anderlecht but the score was far from what the game showed.
It was a poor game with Anderlecht scoring at almost 100% and Cercle wasted a few chances.
I expect to see some goals here,so over 2.5 @1.85 (expekt)

Any thoughts on the mons v genk game guys?

Mons were hammered in their first game and without knowing any team news i fancy genk to win at around evens.

I think you can try Genk here at medium stakes. They will have to react after the draw against GBA. They possess enough quality to overcome Bergen. Bergen's coach resigned due to health problems, after the 'Dragons' 5-0 ass whooping against Gent, this was another punch in the face. Of course it is always hard to predict how a team will react with a new coach but I just think that Bergen didn't get enough quality defenders in the summer and would consider a win of Bergen as a quite a surprise. Therefore, I have 'Genk not to lose' in a few of my combo's.

Yesterday, it was a quite a good night with Charleroi and Lokeren.
GBA was really poor but should have won against an even poorer Dender.
Anderlecht and Gent drawed and as predicted, the odds on the home were really too low. Poor defending on both sides created the high scoring draw at the end of the night.
Btw, the fact that Lokeren scored 4 goals against Tubize means a lot: Tubize was and will stay relegation candidate number 1 this season and I think it's over before their season already begun.

A really aggresive Mons and a Genk that can't play their good football anymore from in the preparations. The team that wanted to victory the most, got it.
Sorry, I really expected more from this Genk.
