Moeskroen - Brugge
Extremely important game in the race to the second spot in the league which gives right to a possible CL-ticket. Moeskroen will mainly go for a spot in UEFA-cup. Moeskroen only lost once at home and it will be a tough task for Bruges. My personal opinion is that Bruges will be satisfied with the draw as they can cope with Standard in a direct confrontation with Bruges playing at home in two weeks (will be the decider for that so important second spot) and it will put a minor blow on the festivities for Anderlecht to be champion without playing . Bruges last games have all been tight and form isn’t what it should be. Englebert still misses, Mendoza is thinking more on his possible transfer to Malaga, Saeternes is out due to injury and Stoica is about to leave Bruges. So a bit of work to be done by Sollied. Moeskroen is strong at home and I think a draw would suit both teams here, therefor it makes the best bet to me.
Result first round: Bruges – Moeskroen: 4 - 2
Bruges missing the players mentioned above, Moeskroen has everyone available

Lierse – Anderlecht
If Bruges didn’t win in Moeskroen, Anderlecht is allready champion before the match begins but they will make it a question of honour to get the win in Lier. Anderlecht hadn’t had much problems with the less stronger teams throughout the competition, they lost their points in the topgames against Bruges and Standard but have been more consistent in the other games. A funny detail, De Bilde plays for Lierse but is still getting paid by Anderlecht. So he will be earning more by losing the game then by winning it as he will get the champions bonus too. Manager Van Holsbeeck from Anderlecht came from Lierse so this is a bit of friends together. Anderlecht to win this one for almost sure! Lierse scored 6 out of the last 10 games while Anderlecht managed 20.
Result first round: Anderlecht – Lierse : 2 – 1
Both teams have everybody available.

Cercle Brugge – St. Truiden
Cercle needs the points to get out of the relegation zone for sure as the teams beneath them are getting points almost every week now. Problem is that there is no confidence within the team. I can hardly see them get the win over St. Truiden but I don’t expect a good game here. To close to call, St. Truiden has nothing to win any more, Cercle needs the points but is simply not good enough the last weeks. I think a draw makes the best of chances here but not playing it myself.
Result first round: St. Truiden – Cercle: 0 – 0
Caers and Hayen are out for St. Truiden but they are not the most important players of the team

RC Genk – Beveren:
The sorrow in Genk seems over now. René Vandereycken will become the new trainer next season and I think it gives a more relaxed feeling within the club now the period of uncertainty is over. Genk has ambition again for next season and they will use all the games they’ve left to make something out of it. The new trainer is looking too and the players certainly don’t want to make a bad impression. Beveren fully commits to the cup final now and this is more or less preparation for them. Home win!!
Result first round: Beveren – Genk: 3 –1 so they have so it would be a revanch too.
Genk at full strength, Beveren fully thinking on the cup final to get european football, that would be something by the way. 11 ivorians on the field in Europe.

G. Beerschot – Charleroi
After Beerschot – Heusden Zolder there were talks as if Beerschot had lost on purpose (1-3) to set up Antwerp. They want Antwerp in second division because then, Beerschot will be the first team of the town for sure. And now the other relegation candidate is coming to town. Don’t know what to believe of those talks but I’m not betting on this one. Charleroi doesn’t play bad during the last weeks. Normally a home win but seen the circumstances, I would skip this game.
Result first round: Charleroi – GBA: 0 – 1
Snoeckx, Hoefkens (both important to GBA), De Decker and Cooreman are having problems. Most likely no to play against Charleroi. For Charleroi, only Kargbo is out.

Bergen – Westerlo:
Both teams are a bit out of form lately and have nothing to go for. No bet. Can go either way.
Result first round: Westerlo – Bergen : 0 - 1
Forward Brogno comes back in the team for Westerlo.

Standard – Heusden
Home win, not a game to lose points especially with Moeskroen – Bruges on the calendar. They can possibly trail Bruges a few points with Bruges-Standard coming up. No other then a home win expected here. Heusden being last in the league but of course, it will be hard to find value here. But if you are looking for a game to accumulate, this makes a good choice.
Result first round: Heusden – Standard: 1 – 1
Dragutinovic is likely to be out for Standard, normally he is the captain but that can hardly make the difference for Standard, this one is too important. Lots of troubles at Heusden. Oulare having problems with knee, Teelen is out, Camara out, Aerts, Atsou, Mampuya en Barka have trained on their own. Only positive news is De Condé being back.

Lokeren – Antwerp:
Extremely important for Antwerp to stay in the first league. They had 3 wins out of 4 losing last week-end against La Louvière. Motivation is certainly there but I think they will have to be satisfied with a draw. Seeing the games of the other relegation candidates, this could be enough to make the difference in the home games to come. Lokeren isn’t bad at home but they kind of have the habit to go to the level of the opponent. They play strong against strong opponents but weaker against weaker opponents, having lost to Charleroi at home too. Draw for me
Result first round: Antwerp – Lokeren: 0 – 3
According to president Lambrecht of Lokeren, there’s to less to see at Lokeren. Vander Elst possibly can leave after this season and also some injury-troubles at Lokeren (Conté, Katana, Viddarson). Everybody fit for Antwerp.

La Louvière – Gent:
Almost every game of Gent is low scoring and I expect another one here. They mainly stick to defending. Correct scores 1 – 0, 0 – 0 and 0 – 1 with a slight favour for 1 – 0 as La Louvière can have good days and plays at home. Close to call but home win and low scoring make the best of chances here.
Result first round: Gent – La Louvière: 3 – 0
Sandy Martens who came from Bruges is out for Gent due to a knee injury

I think Genk 1.55 (@Centrebet) seems to have a bit of value about it given the circumstances of the match. I just hope Genk bring the A game and not their C or D game resulting in a draw or loss..

I was going to have a nibble at Anderlecht but feel the Genk option is the better of the 2.

Cheers
