In Belgium we have since last year a guided draw. This resulted in top half finals last year .
They take each time the upper half teams and put them in a pot and the lower half teams in the other pot.
I think because of this kind of draw the better teams in Belgium are more intrested in the cup.
So combo's on the topteams is normally return in cash.
I'll give you mine favourites later today.

Club Brugge - Francs Borains

This is a typical cuptie with the giant playing at home against the mouse. At Brugge they have 5 players out from who are 2 important. The striker ,W.Sonck(who was the exponent of their 18 points out of 6 ),P.Clementplays always his game as midfielder or defender. The other missings I.Salou(striker who nearly gets of the bench),B.Capon(young striker who got a faw chances under Mathijssen at did it rather good) andG.Verbauwhede (second keeper)
Due to the missings Matthijssen has to play upfront with Sterchele - Djokic (the duo that started the competition).
Francs Boraincs is a team out of division 3A they collected 12 points out of11. They play by origin a rather defensive system.
The support for the game will be very low at max 5000.
Although underestimation is a possibillity, i think Brugge has more than enough to give the small crowd a large Victory.

So if you can find somewhere an over 2.5 ,this is 6/10
I find it at Unibet at 1.4
HW for sure but 1.05 is way to low, hc0-1 1 at1.3 (unibet) also to low for me

Anderlecht - Vigor Wuitens Hamme

An other "giant" at home against lower division (2) team. Anderlecht bought the home advantage from Hamme.
Anderlecht miss Serhat Akin (who recently scored some important goals), J.polak(came back injured from game with national czech republicteam), Defender M.Wasilewski (came back a day to late from the qualified poland team, it looked liked he had been partying for a week).Further they miss longtime injuties Boussoufa and Von Schlebrugge.
But the most important thing in Anderlecht is that first coach F.Vercauteren was fired and A.Jacobs took it over. The atmosphere around the team looks better but Jacobs ,who 's known as a rather defensive coach ,will get the benefit of the doubt of the supporters but he will have to play more attacking than he did in the past with the other teams he was in control .
Hamme started the competition in second league very well but recently they had some troubles (0 out of last 5 games)
So here I also see a large margin victory of home team

Anderlecht - Wuitens Hamme asian handicap -1.5;-2 1 at 1.8(Pinnacle)8/10

Mons - Wetteren

Mons is in the first league in 15th place and has difficuties to find the net. This typical hometeam ,stays for the moment far behind their objective . But with the signing of F.Herpoel , the board gave a signal that they want to go upwards. This goalkeeper must take som points for them, because Berthellin and second goallie Konstantinidis cost them already lots of points.I think Mons will defenitly try to have get a great result against Wetteren, what must set them on track for competition.
Wetteren is a third division team they are midtable team ,with no injuries for this game .Most important players are K.Reyns an K.Schockaert two strikers who played in first league some years ago.

I go here with high stake 8/10 for
Bergen -Wetteren (Hc 0-1) 1 at 1.64 (unibet)

Thx , hope so.
For those who would try AA Gent, I just say that T.Sollied will let his internationals rest for the competion. They still have enough quality to beat Tienen, but i wouldn't bet my house on it that it will happen after 90minutes.

Sorry, that i picked wrong here, they cost me also a few 100's .It was a real bad performance, they came 2 times in front in the forst half. But again they showed some real bad defence work. It surely is bestfor them that they signed F.Herpoel . In the second half they had a few chances but wasted them all. Eventually they won by penalties.

Sorry again

GBA - Union St Gilles
Here we have another first division team against a midtable second division team.GBA is going great the last month, they won their 4 last games. They also won 4 out of their last 5 homegames. GBA is a typical hometeam. The last few weeks their new strikers start scoring and this was the problem in the beginning of the competition also the return after injury of G.Colman did them well(with him in the team they didn't lose a game.Their are no missings at GBA. At Union they miss their topscorer Y.Buelinckx(whohas lots of years at Cl.Brugge) but now in his "old" days scores still a lot fot second division teams, so this is a serious blow for them.Union didn't lose away from home this season, this could be the only thing not following me here.
GBA - Union St Gilles Hc0-1 1 at 1.78(Unibet) at6/10

KV Mechelen - Cercle Brugge

After only 1 out of 4 right Handicap results this cup weekend , 2 teams won with only 1 goal matgin, i'll say something more about this latest game.
KV mechelen started this season with rather nice football but against the top teams they were very unlucky. Away from home they weren't as good and lost almost everything.
Now at home for the cup ,the coach says to avoid relegation is the most important thing. But maybe the players oof Mechelen play now more relaxed.
In the competition Cercle came to win with 0- 4 in Mechelen, after a fast red card for a central defender. If Cercle doesn't underestimate the game and play with the mood they have in the league ,they should come and win here
So i go with small stakes on Cercle 2/10

KV Mechelen - Cercle 2 at 2.3 at Expekt
