Not easy to bet in a first day but i like this one : Newcoming Vöcklabruck, with some well known Austrian 'names' will try to beat Leoben team which resembles in no way that it was last year.

Youngsters who will run with some more experienced players in home team, sounds good, and looks like nice and better too in DSV Leoben, team with experience and strenght. More than last year i hope, they avoided only from few in the relegation.

Only "on paper" because they never know what will make teams and according to what I read from some home supporters, reception is being supposed to be hot.

All in all, it looks like an open match with nice opposition, very shared for books (see odds). Unpredictable in "1N2" of course but i'll go for goals.

I expect a close game between LASK & Kärnten, both are better in the defense than in the offense expecting LASK´ Vastic who is always very dangerous despite his nearly 39 years. Kärnten is a squad without effective striker- Wolfgang Mair scored 4 goals in last 66 Games (a goal in 957 min.), Adi is injured, Junuzuvic more a offense midfielder than a striker. Their qualities are questionless in the defence particulary since Frenkie Schinkels is manager of the Carinthians. His play-style is- very untypically for a Dutchman- strictly defensive away, against Rapid the line up was a 4-5-1 whereas the defense midfielder played as a sweeper in front of (!) the 4 defenders. That was an effective instrument against the fast Rapid-Striker Hoffer and could be tried once more against Vastic in the evening. I think Kärnten could be danger only with free-kicks, corners maybe a penalty. But I have doubts that they really scoring against LASK-squad who are strong in defense themselves. Oldtimer Baur (older than Vastic!) is still one of the best centre-back of the league and his defense is how I said, maybe without troubles against Kärnten´s offense. The current problem of LASK is a midfield without ideas, Vastic is mostly capped as an striker. The whole game is specific for him. If Kärnten isolate the star than it could be easily an 0:0 or something like that.
