| Hmm - can the Coyotes win again? The Red Wings recent record reads LLLW, no need to write about Phoenix who are yet to lose this year. Moreover, it Phx's 3rd game in 6 days, while it's Det's 4th in the same period - which might count at this time of year. Looks tempting. Will decide tomorrow. ![]() |

| Can't disagree with your leans - btw, Buffalo available @ 2.04 on the -1.5 cap. The Clg/Col game is a derby too - anything can happen (but as you wrote they need some of the injured players to return). Seriously, though, I'll hopefully have a deeper look tomorrow (if I have time during the day which doesn't look too likely). |

| After a semi deep lookup, have some early leans for tonights games (4 still missing and will be posted later) Florida Panthers @ Carolina Hurricanes (00:05 GMT) Looks like a clear HW for me, might even try the handicap in this one, as the odds are low. Florida played last night and beat Pens comforatbly 5-2, but ternds show they are just 1-7 playing b2b games with no rest and 0-4 when winning the previous night. Carolina won last time out 4-2 and leads the 06/07 series 2-1, with Washington Capitals @ Tampa Bay Lightning (00:35 GMT) Tight one so im skipping it, but the following read might be helpful… If the Tampa Bay Lightning doesn't start winning soon, the team will likely begin dumping salary, reports the Ottawa Sun. The Bolts have been shopping the likes of forward Vaclav Prospal for most of the season but the paper claims the interest level in him isn't high. According to the Sun, the Lightning would like to upgrade their goaltending and the San Jose Sharks are getting ready to move Vesa Toskala. Citing sources, the Sun claims San Jose GM Doug Wilson wants an offensive blueliner, and if the Bolts want Toskala, they'd have to toss Dan Boyle in a deal. Anaheim Mighty Ducks @ Dallas Stars (01:35 GMT) Passing this game - found no edge...anyway to tight to play on todays big card. Calgary Flames @ Colorado Avalanche (02:05 GMT) Hard match to call IMO. Have a lean on home team, as the Flames could be missing some important fire power upfront..other reason is that they..well pretty much suck when playing away from home, with only 5 wins from 19 matches…Wont be doing intensive looks ups in this one…have a lean on home team but there a far better matches on card today..so im skipping this one Detroit Red Wings @ Phoenix Coyotes (02:05 GMT) The only question mark is..can they contiunue the streak…Wings are in town and they won last match 9-2, last win for Coyotes at home vs. Detroit way back in 2004. IMO this game shouldnt be looked upon from trends point of view…its simply the question of motivation…are they still so motivated to win it again, crowd will surely be crazy tonight…we can not question the motivation of Wings players, they sure want to beat the hottest team in NHL. Dont know anything about this one, on paper Wings are clear favs..but anything could happen tonight in Phoenix. No leans for now Minnesota Wild @ Vancouver Canucks (03:05 GMT) This one really looks like a two bet game. Some of the strongest trends between those two i have ever seen in the NHL. Under is 7- Parish and Nummelin stil a question mark for the Wild, Cans in almost full strenght. Also Cans with a 3 days rest compared to Wild one day + traveling. Minny are 3-6-0-1 after 1 day rest when loosing last game, Cans 0-1 after W with three day rest. Heavy leans to Cans ML win and under 5. Also Minny really strugling as of late and Cans great with San Jose Sharks @ Los Angeles Kings (03:35 GMT) Looks like a trick match, but after looking the stats, Sharks are strong favs for this one. Great trend for them when playing with no rest (11- |

| Montreal Canadiens @ Philadelphia Flyers (00:05 GMT) I like canadiens in this match, seems i have underestimated their will and improved in health against the Trashers, and they won last period of that match with 2-0, so no problem with stamina. For the Flyers Forsberg should be in line up, but IMO that doesnt represent only a small change in improvement of their games. Have looked their previous results, and they used their trip a xmas break to get some wins against home teams who were suffering from holiday sindrome. Im still thinking about this match, but the lean is on the Montreals side. From Associated Press Sports: Forsberg has missed four games with a groin injury, but practiced Wednesday and said that he is ready to go."Everything's fine," he said. "And hopefully I'll be in the lineup for a while." Forsberg has struggled all season to perfect a skate for his balky right ankle, which was surgically repaired last May. He said that his troubles with his skate caused the groin injury. "Is it a hundred percent? No, it's not a hundred percent," he said. "But I have to play. My hope is that it will get to one hundred percent." New York Islanders @ Boston Bruins (00:05 GMT) Typical trend play and im taking it. Islanders defeated Rangers to end their cold streak, and that was simply a chart play, im going again on them tonight as they own the series against lately very bad Bruins. Not much more to add. Ottawa Senators @ New York Rangers (00:05 GMT) Tight match IMO and the goalies will be crucial in this one. Ludqvist was excelent both times those two met this year, with .964 and .971 SP, but was terrible in last match against Islanders with .800 SP. Emery on the other side seems more consistant and also both time very good ag. Rangers with one shotout. To tight match for eveno thinking about betting on. Lean to Ottawa because of better form. Toronto Maple Leafs @ Buffalo Sabres (00:05 GMT) PLAY OF THE DAY…No leans, this is the bet. Buffalo on handicap against injury plagued Leafs. I see nothing positive about Torontos visit to Buffalo. Sabres played match last night, but really they shouldnt struglle against a team who is having problems filling their ranks and organising their lines. But will wait until more is known about the status of some Leafs players. |

| Anaheim Mighty Ducks @ Dallas Stars (01:35 GMT) After 5 losses i think Anahaim will win this one. But i dont have any news about injured players 4/10 Anaheim win New York Islanders @ Boston Bruins (00:05 GMT) NYI is in uptrend and Boston play is not so good in near past. H/H
all shows me a win for NYI and odds are droping i will take a chance 4/10 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Looks like all's been said. Would back Phx and NYI myself for the above reasons. Not too keen about a handicap play in the Buffalo match, but not saying it's a crazy pick. GL ![]() |

| Tonight..We like a play on the Minnesota Vancouver NHL game tonight in Vancouver. First matchup wise..this has for the most part been a homer series. Minnesota beat Vancouver 5-2 in Minnesota their last meeting. As a matter of fact Minnesota has Won the last four vs Vancouver at home. Canucks though have beaten Minnesota In four of the last 5 meetings at Vancouver's GM Place. Statistically they even out in a lot of categories..You can even give the two a Saw-off in special teams. Minnesota 3rd in Power Play Goals Vancouver has an NHL best 88 percent powerplay. Okay here are the clinchers. Always play on a hot team til they cool! Canucks have won 7 straight games and are a force when they are hot. Minnesota meanwhile is in the midst of a 3 game losing streak, outscored 8-3 in that streak. Key in on the Wilds awful road record. Minnesota is a league worst 4-15-1 on the Road and has won only 2 games in their last 16 away from home(both wins shootouts) Canucks are finding a way to win, and are tough when they are winning. We like the play on Vancouver over Minnesota..Vancouver Canucks |
