We saw yesterday what happens when one team wants to run and control the clock...Jax/NE snuck up to 51 points, well below their av's.
NYG playing some solid D...4th best pass D for the season, combined with a run first mentality, and I think this one stays under a pretty big number...
...Giants are just 1-7 under on the road when total >38!...0-2 >46.

Let's follow Andy's First Rule of Professional Sports Playoffs: You will be denied the dream matchup you want to see. Therefore: Since I believe the Jags will upset New England, and they won't, that means San Diego will win.

What's really perfect about this logic is that I can't imagine a worse pick. In San Diego you've got a QB who looks lost, the worst coach ever in the NFL, a team with a history of failure, a team missing one of its top go-to guys on offense...and here they'll go up against the defending champs, in their house, who are themselves looking forward to getting redemption in Foxboro.

I tell you, it's perfect.

What can I say? I didn't bet it...I almost did, when I saw the television morons saying there was "no way" SD could win. But it's nice to see that "Andy's First Rule" still holds sway.
